I booked two tickets, which cheapflights said airline would reach out to me. The airline didn't so I reached out to cheapflights, since they booked it and took my money. They said airline cancelled and they would be happy to pay me back and then I could book again. It has been 2 months now, I have received calls where their representatives are telling me, I have to use klarna to get my money back.Everyone I have talked to know s nothing and the supervisors have no clue who they work with or who is in charge. They are scam artist and probably working with Klarna ( target) to scam others. BEWARE and find another company if it even is one.
They offer cheap flights online, after you choose your one, and give them the card information, they change the price to 300 400 % over, if you cancel it, they charge a fee. $ 100
This was the worst experience booking a flight! Online they sell a flight for about 450.-, then they send you an email to urgent call them back, and then they tell you that your allready booked and paid ticket will cost tree times more! After more than two hours on the phone with them mentioning the small prints etc. I had no choice than to agree on double the price with a different flight! This is absolutely a nogo! They catch the people with cheap prices online, and then they screw the customers like that! This was the first time and definately the last time I booked a flight with Cheap vuelos! Its also definately Cheap customer service! Minus any Star for that matter!
Scam! Scam! Sacm! 🚩🚩🚩run away from Cheapflights as far as you can! NEVER EVER book anything from them! They charge your card, take your money and send fake reservations which are empty! Thank God I called the airline to confirm my flight( which was not confirmed, ofc). Otherwise I would go to airport with my elderly parents and three kids and be turned away right at the gate…. It is soooo low and disgraceful…. Cheapflights- liars and cheaters…..

If I could rate less I would. Purchased 2 tickets in March. Was told would have them first week of April. Never showed. Received email right before the trip saying it was cancelled due to no available seats and a refund had been initiated. Now July 1 and still no refund. They don't answer the phone anymore. Left several messages with no return calls of course. I'm usually very skeptical about cheap flights and I'm very angry with myself for allowing this to happen.
They do not provide the flights that I requested on the website and charge my credit card and want to separate my minor son on a standby flight 3 days later than my wife's flight
I tried to book and got concerned with their web site so luckily I did some digging before opting out. This website is among a number of web sites all identical methodology to get more money out of you with a load of BS excuses. They collectively have a number of Australian addresses and most are empty shops or in very small towns or private houses. They appear to be international scammers. Do not try and do business with them.

I purchased a round trip ticket from them, then they called me multiple times saying that they had to discuss something urgent with me. I attempted to email them and request them to discuss it via email, they rejected. I called them with my husband, they started mentioning that the plane ticket I got, i would not be able to bring any package with me only personal items like small backpack or bag, also will have to be in the airport at least five hours earlier. Non refundable and non changeable. I would not be able to just add more money to make it a "changeable bundo". They recommended me to pay extra $140 to "upgrade" my reservation so that I "can" change it in the future, paying both the service's fee and the price difference in the future. ( which doesn't make any sense because if I do it's more expensive than any other plane ticket websites online). I told them I would just keep my original reservation and not paying extra. A few minutes later they sent me another email, using the same words " discussing urgent things for your tickets". This time they told us that the ticket we purchased, all the seats on that flight were taken. We will have to wait for them to update me about my plane ticket date, time, and even airport until they can. So what's the point of getting this ticket, you need to depart and return from the exact date you need, right? The staffs were incredibly rude and were questioning me, judging me, saying things like "oh then maybe you should have read through the policy", " it's what it is", and so many similar rude things that I forgot( BECAUSE THEY SAID TOO MANY!) I'm not a native English speaker, they even cut off my call at the middle of the conversation! ( this time my husband did not join the call). The last time I called them back was to ask for more information about my ticket. I asked for my husband help in case I don't understand any English. They were a bit nicer this time but still very rude, basically saying that they will notice me about my plane info 24 hours before the original departure time. The date can be delayed for maximum 24 hours. Like I said, if we cannot make sure about the date and time way ahead of time, what the point of getting the ticket early? What can I do about it? When we asked about why they cannot provide us the info that they are providing via email so we can have a record, they said it's the policy that they can talk to the customers only on the phone, later they said the reason they don't provide info on the emails was that it "more convenient ". Which that doesn't make any sense, if everything they do is legal and correct, the company policy should not ask their employees only to communicate their customers via phones. In additional, when their phone calls come in, it showed " potential scam". In conclusion, DON'T PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!
I needed to talk to a real person as I did not get a confirmation or the itinerary eventhough my email address was correct. But no, without an itinerary number, the automated phone line will not go further. There was no option for talking to an agent. Finally, called my bank for a refund. The company set up is a joke. Really pisses one off.
This website directed me to 3 sites to shop for cheaper airfare, specifically, smartcheapfares.com. There was a good price and I booked it, or so I thought. I received an email with itinerary stating "Here,s your flight itinerary. Please retain this information code to reference your booking. We look forward to seeing you onbord.

In this case your e - tickets will be sent post card verification only." The grammar was a red flag immediately. Someone then called from *******494 but did not leave a message. A Sez Brown emailed me to call them back regarding my tickets at *******969. Once I contacted them they basically proved my suspicion- FRAUD. I was told that the airline couldn't accommodate the deeply discounted ticket and I'd be on stand by for my flight but the return flight was fine. I told them that was unaccpetable and that I read how they do the "bait and switch." I told them that I had to be at my destination and would buy a regular price ticket so I know I'm on the flight, never standby. I told him to cancel it and he told me that it was noncancelable and nonrefundable. I told him I'd dispute it and they wouldn't get my $$. My card hadn't been charged yet. He spoke over me and finally hung up. He then emailed me that my flight was cancelled and there would be no refund but they'd give me a voucher. I replied not to bother because I was going to dispute the fraud and that my bank wouldn't pay. He replied this morning again "still tickets are going to be non - refundable." I had them issue me a new bankcard. They didn't get a penny of mine. Do not fall for this SCAM.
Got charged for 2 charges then got an email saying my flight was cancled and no charges were made to my Credit card. Not true,I was charged two times for the same flight. They wont answer my calls only keep getting an email from a Jack Thompson from Inda... saying the charge is a cancelation fee from Air Canada. WHAT A SCAM. Please dont use this Company.

Like most of these reviews they are a total SCAM/bait and switch. Booked my flight on Friday (10/04/2024) through cheap flights / Cheap Vuelor. Immediately got an email to contact them for an urgent matter. I called them and they proceeded to tell me all the rules of the flight and the last rule they told me, I was not able to bring any personal items onto the plane. Not even a backpack that would fit below the seat. Told him to just cancel it.howeve they will not refund the cost of $307 for the fligh. Got into a heated argument for about 10 minutes. It ended with me confirming to continue to book the flight and I will FedEx my backpack to Florida. I repeated this several several times. Come today Monday 10/07/2024 I still have not gotten my tickets so called Cheap Flights. I was then informed my reservation was cancelled as they were not able to get in touch with me for 72 hours and charged me the whole $307.00 (they also tried to upcharge me so I could bring my backpack on the plane for an additional $327) Well, I have put a dispute on the charge to my credit card but it could take up to 90 days to find out if I get my money back. Worst part is I was trying to get down to my 82 year old father in Ft Lauderdale to help him through the storm as he is unable to travel and now I'm unable to find a flight into Florida due to hurrican Milton.
I booked a flight for half the cost. After paying for the flight - rep call to tell me the restrictions. You cannot take a bag on the flight? Stated he could upgrade me to another status where I can take a bag however it would cost me another $300. Then they called back to say I was on standby. Not knowing that I had called the airlines and confirmed my flight. Called United Airlines - confirmed flight was not full and someone took my name off the flight. Total scam. NEVER USE THIS SITE
It seems so sketchy that they're way too cheap compared to other sites that I looked so i decided to call them. A thick accent lady answered my call and told me that she can't help me if I don't have a booking conformation yet. Told her that I am trying to book but have questions she again told me that she can't help me without a booking confirmation. So they will not help you if you have'nt purchased anything from them yet. SCAMMERS
I just booked a flight for a week trip to visit my son 3,000 miles away. The next day I'm told I can only carry on my purse, no luggage included in the fare. If I want to CARRY ON a suitcase, I have to PAY MORE! I can't cancel the flight. I have to SHIP MY LUGGAGE separately. SCAM SCAM SCAM.
So I booked a flight for someone and realized there is an issue with the passport. We cancelled the booking as soon as we realized that, and then charged the full flight amount. I called talked to 3 different people, who said the cancellation fee is $250, which was ok, being that it was an international flight. But 3 weeks down, I am still charged the 250 plus the flight amount. I have called and called so many times and being given different wait times.one lady said 14 days, another said 30 to 60 days...like you are quick to take money out but it takes forever to put it back on my credit card. I doubt if i would use them again. If you book a flight,you better be on it...coz if you cancalled, looks like they take your money either way.
I Booked a flight and later received a call from Cheapflights informing me that I would only get on the plane if there was a cancellation and could not have any baggage even a carry on. I had to pay twice the initial price to get a Guaranteed seat and have a carry on. They claimed my first booking was a promotional price and that is why I would only get on if there was a cancellation and couldn't have any luggage. Obviously I was not aware of any of that and would never have booked a flight with those conditions. These people are crooks and nobody should ever use them.
Try to book an international flight, they called me and tried to charged me $650 for the cabin luggage on a flight for $850, under the pretense that it was an especial offer from the aero line that did not include any kind of luggage on an INTERNATIONAL flight. Book the same flight on the aero line web, cabin bag included, checked bag for $75.
As always, if seems too good to be true provably is too good to be true.
Do not used, they try to pressure me telling that it was a flight with no cancelation refund, but they did not charged anything yet, since you must approve, but I'm keeping an eye on my credit card account and added alerts. Better be safe than sorry.
