Booked a low demand flight from Florida to Tennessee. The flight price was less than baggage price. Once booked, I started receiving calls and texts that there was an issue and they needed to charge me $54 more. Explained to the (overseas) man this is their problem, not mine as the charge has hit my card and a contract has been initiated. He wanted to argue but I told him to figure it out and live up to the agreement and hung up. About 10 minutes later a text came through that they would "pay the difference". I have no idea how lawmakers could allow a company like this to operate. Review after review indicates illicit activity on their part. I am not sure why Kayak has a link to their site from theirs but it tarnishes the Kayak brand by allowing or being affiliated with this scam. If your card has a pending charge against it do not pay additional amounts or being tricked into buying insurance from Cheapflights - the better move is to not use Cheapflights at all,

All around poor service! Booked a flight online for 2 people, round trip. I got a call from Kelly 8 hours+ later saying that the seats I booked were never available. When I asked for a remedy I was told I could get a flight the next day or pay $600 extra for a flight that would land at midnight. I then asked for my booking to be cancelled and to receive a refund and Kelly told me that was impossible. I was transferred to her supervisor Chris who was somehow able to find cheaper flights than Kelly was. This all left a bad taste in my mouth and if I'm going to end up paying full price I will just book through the airline itself. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. I'm a car salesman and this was one of the worst bait and switches I've seen. In the end I was told my card hadn't been charged yet, after I had been told a refund is impossible. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH CHEAPFLIGHTS, IT'S MORE MONEY. JUST FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY. BOOKED A FLIGHT WITH THEM AND THEY SAID THAT THE CHEAPEST PRICE WAS ON SPIRIT. BOOKED IT, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THEY CHARGED MORE THAN SPIRIT. I CALLED SPIRIT AND THEY TOLD ME THE SAME THING. NEVER GO THROUGH CHEAPFLIGHTS WE NEED TO START A CLASSACTION LAWSUITE IT'S A SCAM

Bought insurance and after 2 1/2 hours on the phone, unable to get a refund. Additional charges appeared on my card afterwards. They are a scam site! Run!

We purchased a flight with the above bookino on g reference online and we were sent an email that stated we would recieve confirmation within 48 hours

I rang to see why we hadn't recieved tickets and then were told we had brought a restricted ticket that had no baggage allowance no food and no seat allowance at this stage. And to top of off we were on stand by and that if we weren't successful and we couldn't use the money after the departure date towards another flight or be given a refund It never mentioned anything other than apparently reading the terms and conditions which you are banking on customers not reading this when they see a great price when booking, we were told in order to get an airline reference we would have to upgrade to a much more expensive ticket.

If this isn't a scam it's Borderline fraud. You have $3600 of our money, I purchased this in good faith thinking because it was a uk based site it would be safe and I'm stunned that you wouldn't alert a customer it's a restricted flight and to-please read the fine print prior to booking

What I want is a refund as we can't fly on these tickets with no baggage food or seats and can't afford to upgrade.

What can you offer?.

To update the situation we have now had to pay an extra $2000 to up grade and be guaranteed our seats

I will endeavour to find all travel sites and let them know never to use this company as what you offer is false misleading and designed to trap you.i could have booked direct with Emirates and had a cheaper flight. I would like the difference back of what we originally paid compared to the new ticket refunded

I booked my flight on line and got a confirmation. 9 hours later a man with a thick Indian accent informs me that the tickets I purchased were no longer available. He went on to explain that he could put me on a different flight for (of course) more money. How is this legal? I had to hold with an "agent" for over 35 in while they confirmed the new reservation & processed payment. Unbelievable. I guess "Cheap" is right.

Bought tickets to attend a family member's military graduation. The military instructed us to purchase refundable tickets in case graduation dates changed. We did and of course the dates changed. Cheap Flights couldn't get us on another flight with the same airline so we had to book on another airline on our own. Here's the problem; Cheap Flights now refuses to refund our refundable tickets. I've been on more than 20 phone calls with supervisors, agents, etc and they refuse the refund. We paid $600 for the insurance for all the tickets, so we're out that (we understand that) plus over $3000 for the plane tickets. "A supervisor will call you within 24 hours" is the standard line when they can't get me off the phone. Book directly through the Airline and you won't have this issue. If you're trying to save a few buck and run into a problem, you'll end up spending double because of this blatantly lying, bogus, scam-filled company.

I booked a flight, gave them my credit card number, etc. I got no confirmation, so I called. They said it take 3 hrs to confirm with the airline. After a bit, they called me and said there were no more economy tickets at the rate I agreed to ($400), but they would give me a ticket in the main cabin for $650. I said no thanks, lets cancel. They said, "you cannot cancel since the return portion is already confirmed." I said that's your problem, but they kept the scam going saying, "You are confirmed with the airline. You are going to be charged." So I called American Express and CANCELLED MY CREDIT CARD before the charge went through. Afterwords, she called me back and demanded I pay $95 for cancellation. GIANT SCAM.

I regret to inform you of the challenges encountered with the recent booking I made for my brother and his wife's honeymoon. The round-trip tickets were unexpectedly canceled, and despite efforts to resolve the matter, we faced difficulties in obtaining accurate information from both the cheap flight platform and the airline. Communication barriers and redirections to different parties, coupled with a perceived lack of accountability, led to a frustrating experience. I am disappointed by this incident and, regrettably, cannot consider utilizing their services again. As a resolution, I am contemplating contacting my bank to dispute the transactions.They arrived to our city now I have to book new tickets for them.

Cheap flights might have real companies on there site but they do not care if they have scamers advertise either just beware you are better off going to priceline or the airlines site do your homework cheap flights is a hot bed of scam travel agencies that will steal your money. ( bestticketfair.com or bestair.com or any company that needs to call you first) lock your card! Dont let them bully you into higher rates. Please...please stay away..

A total scam company that gives fake cheap flights, charges you for them then tells you that they're only "provisional" and it was your mistake. They then try to sell you different flights much more expensively.

After booking you'll get badgered on the phone none-stop telling you you need to sort out the booking. It's disgraceful.

Currently on hold to my bank to have the charges cancelled.

Okay so I managed to get our money back. These guys are real nasty bullies - they will tell you that if you don't buy an upgrade (i.e a real flight) you'll lose all your money. This is a lie.

If you get scammed by this company ring your bank and explain about the charge. It will be in "pending" in your account as they will only charge you for an actual flight. My bank couldn't cancel a pending transaction but they did issue a notice to cheapflights to either cancel or charge the amount. If they charged it then we could claim a refund...although it takes 15 days. Also they put a block on them ever charging us again.

What these scammers want you to do is buy a flight with them in panic and through bully tactics. I think it's disgraceful that this can happen - but hopefully this may help anyone who uses them like we did

One star is too good for these crooks (Bestticketfare through Cheapflights). Bought a ticket Sat morning for a Tue morning flight my wife had to be on for a family emergency. After repeated phone calls from me and lies and stall tactics from Cheapflights, we still don't have a ticket or conf. Number just hours from the flight. Now to buy the ticket direct through the airline like I should have to begin with, the price has gone up astronomically since it's last minute and few seats left. Cheapflights should be prosecuted for deceptive business practices. They have greatly hurt us. Beware. Ripoff artists and lying scumbags. They have all my cc info for the payment and I have nothing to show for it.

These people are terrible! I tried to cancel my flight within the 24 hour cancelation period. When I called I was told that it could not be canceled. I argued with them for a while with no luck, then I filed a dispute with my cc company and from the first time they got the dispute they called me at least 24 times, left messages threatening me to tell the cc card company that I committed cc fraud. I would never book with these crooks again!

I booked a flight, payed extra for seats and was not able to chose seats. Was told to wait until boarding day. Customer service agent was rude and did not help. Never again. Avoid them at all cause.

Please don't waste your time they will give you the cheapest price online the. They will call you for way higher price and will give the dumbest excuse ever

Twice I have tried to book with them and both times they have come back to me and told me if I wanted to continue with my booking it was going to cost hundreds more they say it is the airlines fault I have booked hundreds of flights with several other booking agencies, and never had this problem before
