We had CEDcommerce provide us with a Magento 2 to Etsy integration around 18 months ago.
When installed it was literally littered with bugs. We spent hours on end finding and reporting them to CED who, to be fair, promptly fixed them. It took around 6 months before everything was working as expected.
We had paid an initial $500 for the extension but after 3 months they insisted we pay a service contract in order for them to continue with the "customisation" as they like to call it. Which is code-word for fixing bugs that should not have been there in the first place!
Since then the extension has been working fine and Etsy has become a key marketplace for us. We've had no reason to be in touch with CED and no further payments have been made.
We are now at a juncture where we need to upgrade Magento from v2.1 to v2.3. It's a large and costly project involving our 3rd party IT support team patching over 30 extensions. Every single one of these extensions, and I do mean EVERY one of them, have provided a patch for free (as you would expect) but NOT CEDcommerce.
They refused to provide a patch, saying that they will have to re-do the "customisations", which in all honesty should be part of their base code for all customers, and if not then it brings their professionalism into question.
They wanted to charge us another $450 for the patch that we are getting free from all other companies. They do not care about service - they only care about making more money.
I would urge anyone with common sense to avoid this company. You may think things are going well but at some point further down the line when something goes wrong with your extension, they will try to rob you blind.
Shame on CEDcommerce.

The app did not do what the guys promised it would do.
I had a chat with them before subscribing, they told me the app will synchronise inventory and order automatically. After subscribing the story was completely different: 1. The uploading of the first 10,000 SKUs will be done free, any other addition will be subjected to additional price; 2. The mapping of the inventory with the marketplace catalogue is manually done. And they were directing me on how to do the mapping, I had no clue of what they were telling me to do, so I paid them additional money to do it for me. We agreed the job will be done in two weeks.
After two weeks, it was another story again, I still needed to add some other details to each of the SKUs, meanwhile, all my items uploaded to google shopping and facebook easily without any issue. But since they wanted additional details to be added before it can be mapped on their app, I paid them yet additional money for them to do it and be sure my items are listed on the market place. After two months, they did not do half of the job, even many of the ones they listed were listed in the wrong categories, which is as good as not being listed at all. It was a different story again!.
Meanwhile, they requested that all the payments should be paid through shopify, and that was what I did. But when I reported the problem to shopify, shopify simply sympathize with me and said the policy is that they cannot refund money paid to developpers, unless the developper agree to it. They refused to agree to the refund of the money. So I lost all the money both for subscription and the additional money for them to do the job, no work is done, and they wasted my time.
No single truth comes from their mouth. They don't know what they are doing.

It´s kind of hard to start to sum up all the help and expertice these guys have, but i will try. So many projects has passed as they have been helping me for over a year now.
When it comes to Woocommerce these guys are the best, i have had so many plugins bought that just solves so much like Cdon marketplace plugin, Fruugo plugin, Google Shopping plugin, etc. and everything works great and if there are any conflicts with existing plugins they are easily solved.
When asking to get custom work done the rates are fair, for example now have a completely automated shipment booking system which was made custom over excisting plugins. Big shoutout to Atul Verma and his team that has had very big patience with me;)
Latest work these guys did was to optimize my google integrations, was done flawlessly and with great expertize adjusting all my noob settings in a matter of hours. Big thanks to Aman & Ankit Gupta who did an awesome job!
And lastly i also have to thank my main man Edward who allways answers when i write to him and puts me in contact with the right people at his company!

Answer: Not a scam! And they offer 7 days trial, with limited amount of uploads. Their support is excellent and I've worked with them for over a month now.
