I recently placed my first order with CarParts, which was for a Honda fog lamp. It arrived 3 days later than promised and the bulb was missing. I was disappointed and gave them a 2 rating. They promptly contacted me and apologized for the delay and refunded me the price of the bulb.
I appreciate that and upgrading my rating to a 4. I will likely order from them again.
I ordered part and asked for regular shipping costing approximately 6.00. They used my credit card and charged me 33.00 for shipping making it next day. I did not order next day and called customer service and they did nothing but send a email to shipping and this email was ignored. Watch your bills they will charge you for the wrong shipping without your permission and will not refund their error. There is no savings with this company it cost me more to buy on line than it would at brick and mortar store
I ordered a part that was scheduled to arrive on a certain date; but their shipper perpetually reported the order as "Pending" with their LSO shipping service. I contacted CarParts, and they seemingly fixed the problem by reordering the part and promising to use FedEx rather than LSO for shipping. But when my replacement order notice came in, my tracking number was, again, from LSO, which had *never picked up the original order*. I spent an *hour* on hold with LSO never to talk to anyone, and only a "give us 1-2 business days for update" from CarParts for an order that was already late. I cannot trust their problem resolution; they use unreliable shippers, give incorrect information on resolving problems with orders, and do not honor their promises for how their problems will be resolved. I will *not* use CarParts.com again, and strongly recommend no on else does, either.

I wish I had read the reviews prior to ordering. This part was for my daughter's car which she saved her hard earned money for. It was the wrong size. I sent it back and waited over a month for a refund and only received a 50% refund. Nothing was wrong with the part. They will resell it. I had to contact them 5 different times looking for the refund and was lied to every time. I was told, "rest assured it will be there in 2-3 business days." It never was. The sad part is my daughter is expecting her first child in April and she works very hard for her money. She was waiting on that return so she could purchase the correct size. Not one person assisted us in resolution nor showed empathy. It was an "oh well" attitude. They kept a young soon to be mother's hard earned money and will turn around and resell the same item, getting paid twice for one item which is illegal. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The side mirror I got was not rotating correctly either because it was the wrong part or because the rough delivery did something. However, Shen really did a nice job resolving the issue to get me the right part and returning the incorrect one. I was pleasantly surprised with their customer service.

Bought a tail light for my Yukon and less than a year later it was getting water in it. I got a replacement and now the replacement has the same issue! They are now unwilling to replace because it has been more than a year. Seems like the products they sell are less than quality and their customer service is worse! Avoid at all costs.

I ordered a headlight. Shipping was fairly quick, which would have been great, except for the fact that they sent me a mirror. I sent the part back, called and chatted to ensure I'd have no issue getting a refund. They have had their mirror back for a full month but no refund. They have literally emailed me the same thing four times … "This is not how we do business" "backlog in the warehouse" "we have included your order in today's batch". All BS. I have disputed with my credit card company.

I ordered a part (ignition cylinder) and they failed to put my apartment number on the invoice so I had to go down to FedEx to pick it up. I let them know this and they refunded my shipping expense.
Then the part turned out to be faulty so they offered to replace the part or send me a refund. Plus, for my trouble they sent me a discount code to be used on a future purchase.

I purchased a catalytic converter for my Mazda, and have had nothing but trouble with it. The company wants me to test any/every item related to the fault code, to make sure that is indeed the converter. I have spent about $800 proving the converter bad, but they still won't admit to defective parts, and refund? Terrible customer service, beware of this company. I hate to say it, but I almost wish that the virus had closed this business down, for all or our goods.
We will check with your company for all our auto parts. We had a wonderful experience. We will recommend you to everyone. Received it in just a few days. Communication from them was great. The part fit perfectly. Very happy with my experience.
I questioned CarParts about an issue with shipping costs because the parts were available locally. I was told local pick up was not an option, thus, the shipping charges. I was instructed to contact management via the Facebook page. I sent a message to the company and within 3 hours I received a reply and satisfactory resolution. I will not hesitate to do business with this company again.

There is a bit of a stigma to ordering car parts over the net.Its not as easy as taking it right back to the local parts store should they be sold the wrong part so I suspect that is why I approached it with undue caution. CarParts.com worked to convince me I was dealing with the right bunch by professionally going through what they had in their inventory and then walking me through it to get my best buy.
The parts arrived on the same day promised. They even worked with me on getting my shipping costs down.The Next time i decided to go on~line for my car needs they will definitely get my business.
Claim parts are "guaranteed to fit when you type in your vehicle information. Part did not fit and when i went to request the proper part i could not make an exchange I had to make a full return. Not only that you have to pay for shipping and for returns even though it was their fault the part didn't fit. Their return process is confusing and it has now been 2 weeks involved and 25$ ill not be getting back, I am not one for leaving bad reviews but this service was awful

Ordered a mirror for drivers side because OEM is ~$1000. The first one that came in didn't fold right. I contacted customer service. They asked if I wanted a replacement and I said yes. The part was on backorder so I asked if I could keep it on my truck until the new one came in for safety reasons. They said that was fine. A few weeks later and the replacement works like a charm! Would do business here again. Customer service is top notch and reached out to make sure it was right!

We ordered parts they took the order took the money out of our account the next day got an email saying the parts were out of stock. I had a headlight assembly shipped to my apartment. Unfortunately the deliveryman didn't bother to ring my apartment and left the package outside the building's secure gate. I was home, literally 15 feet from the gate. So the package was stolen by a homeless person (on video surveillance), and when I contacted CarParts they denied any liability and refused to replace the part.
I'd like to think that my shipping costs included me receiving said shipment.
