I bought brand new roters as soon as I drove half a mile one fell apart. My mechanic said in 20 yrs. He's never seen one do that. So I had to pay extra garage time money, plus buy another roter. Now they won't except my emails. NEVER AGAIN

I needed new headlights. The ones I found were much less expensive than I had anticipated. The web-site search engine worked well. Everything was clear. The check-out process was simple and hitch-free. I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy these lights, as I thought they would be expensive!
I made contact with customer service an they were extremely helpful to get my issue resolved. I explain to them that it was very dented probably from shipping an they are currently shipping me another one free to me. I am very surprised how this company handles their customers an are not all about a dollar. Bought the door lock actuator for Camry. Worked for 1 day. Went back to doing the same thing the defective factory part did, won't stay locked, general malfunction. Don't skimp, spend the extra $20 for the one from a reputable place. By the time I got around to installing it, reordering and new one and swapping it out again I'm outside of their return window. Why such a short return window? Because they know they sell junk!
I ordered two parts Order IDs: ******* and ******* for my 2013 VW Passat. One of them parts was the same quality and fit as the original part and the other one was not as good as the OEM. I provided feedback to customer service about both of them and to my surprise I received emails back from the customer service. They gave me discount on the one that I was not satisfied with.
The fact that they are surveying customers about quality of the product and actively trying to improve their service and qualify of the products tells me that they stand behind their product and I have recourse in case I am not satisfied. Specially these days with online orders you don't know who you are dealing with. This takes the risk of buying an expensive part without recourse if case of issues.

One thing I detest, if a merchant says that product is in stock, then it should be IN STOCK. Placed an order with Carpart.com. Verified the part number, verified the merchant that they weren't a scam operation, went through the ordering process. Received an email confirming the purchase. Twenty minutes later, oh we are out of stock of that product and it will take 6 business days for the money to go back on my card. What a waste of my time. Terrible merchant. Get your act together.
Purchased a rear PowerStop brake kit. Had some concerns and I left feedback. The DYI install went okay and I made it work. Within a day I got a message back asking how to make my purchase right. Very happy with the resolution! Great customer service above expectations.

I ordered tail lights and tail light circuit boards for my 98 Silverado. Everything made it on time, except the left side circuit board. I emailed them. No question asked, they sent the left side out and I got it yesterday. I'm so happy I found somewhere to get new parts for my truck without having to worry. Thank you Car Parts!
I placed the order on February 12th, 2021. It got lost & I got nothing but attitude when I reported it. I was not given the option at all what sub model the car was. So the part comes & it's nowhere near the right part. I ask about a refund, I'm expecting to pay to send it back. They said it was my fault. So I get the emails today about the refund. I was charged $50.76 for the part & shipping. I'm informed they are only wanting to refund the part amount. Which is absolutely ridiculous. So not only do they expect me to pay to return a part that doesn't fit my car, they are not even giving me back my money I paid to have it shipped to me! I contacted customer service 5 minutes ago. They immediately went to blaming me AGAIN & only wanting to talk about my mistake & asking me questions about my car.
Christine rocks as a car part employee. She has had 10 years of experience and knows her stuff. I know very little about car parts. She took the time to explain to me what I needed in parts terminology and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. She was thorough and went over every detail of the parts, purchase and shipping. I had purchased from Car Parts before and the parts and service was fine, but after this delightful experience. I will order all my auto need from Christine at Car Parts. The parts have been totally reliable and the customer service was number one.
Bad customer service im missing an item on my order, i called them and now they claim that part its not included on what i ordered but when i go online it states that the part is included. Horrible customer service.

Car parts sent me a faulty Mass Air flow for my car that only shuts my car off when plug. I contacted Car Parts but yet to get a response from them. Buyers Stay away from buying any good quality parts from them. They only want your cash!
Website was down but I called in to order over the phone. Someone answered immediately and I was about to order the wrong part but they were able to correct me and get the right one for my vehicle. Hopefully they show up quickly and are good quality.
I received the wrong part but I got a call from customer service and they gave me a rebate on the part since I will most likely use it. I own a body shop and I use carparts.com almost weekly to get parts for a used car dealership

Their prices were great, shipping was super fast, and the products I ordered (3 of them) were good, but one lower control arm was making a clunking sound. My mechanic said he believed it was machined slightly less than perfect so it was moving a little. It wasn't dangerous, just a little noisy. I told them about this, and they shipped me a new control arm within two days, didn't even require me to return the old one, and the new one is perfect. I am very impressed and will continue to shop with them. Oh, they also price-matched one part of my order so I got an even better deal initially.
I ordered a set of struts, sway bar links and ball joints, the ball joints never came in, but they did adjust the price without an explanation. The struts were not compatible with my vehicle, I tried to return them, the online return page wouldn't let me after several frustrating tries so I called returns, I was caller 25, each time I called and after I finally got to talk to someone they wanted me to pay to return it even though they sent me the wrong part. They said they would send me a return label in 24 to 48 hours (really) and that it would take about 30 days to get my money back, yet when I ordered it the money came out of my account immediately. It was a really frustrating experience

I have tried to return a part for several weeks. As directed I filled out the required information on line. After completing my email address and order # taken from their invoice - I get a message stating the order # or email is wrong. I have completed the on line form several times with the correct information and I get a message to call car parts for assistance. When I call the # I am directed to the website and told to fill out the form which states I have entered the wrong information. What a SCAM. After trying for several weeks I have given up trying to return the part or speak to someone from car parts. I'm quite sure this has happened to many customers.

I double checked I was ordering a front panel. I double checked FRONT!. They said I received a rear panel, and when chatting with a agent, he said I was wrong and "offered the help with discount return re-shipping" I will not be buying from this company again with the lack of respect. Ordered a part in December 2018. CarParts advertised that the part was in stock and would ship in 4-5 days. I ordered the part and because I used PayPal the money was withdrawn from my account immediately ($250.00+). Now the bad news. After two weeks without a tracking number I decided to call. Customer service told me the part was being ready to ship. Another two weeks go by and I call again. Customer service gave me another shipping date for the following week... The next week, a month after order date, I receive an e-mail stating they don't have the part and my account will be credited. Moral to the story... use another part supplier who carry parts they advertise!
