Lousy Customer Service

Carousell Singapore's customer service is slow to respond and when they do, the reply is inconsistent though it is pertaining to a same issue. Dealing with them is frustrating. You will be better off using the Gumtree app

I've already pay (directly transfer money to seller bank acc) something from seller but until today (more than 1 weeks), the thing doesnt come. I really hate seller irresponsible and carousell as well...

Site has no seller protection. So if a buyer wants to take you down either because a) they're being an $#*!, or b) wants to take you down for less business competition or rivals, they can easily do so by just spreading lies all over the website by spamming everyone and everywhere to tell that your product is fake, or all stuff you sell are defective and some other things, just because something is making them angry.

A few false reports is enough to get your account restricted.

Cheap and afforable.

Quite safe to buy here. (check review of seller before buying to prevent getting scam). It is also cheaper to buy from there.

Used to be great in the beginning. But it somehow filters sellers. So despite outstanding rating and great items and high activity. My account never ends up in any promotions that my account qualifies for. I contacted them and they just said that it was an arbitrary human managed selection. I. e. Top sellers sale may be full of people with barely any and bad reviews. Lately I noticed my items don't even get the views at all. Some for weeks. When before I would have hundreds of views within the first day. And after upgrade my account lost functionality and access to groups (from mobile and computer browser).
Customer service takes several days to reply. Once took a week. For each reply.
Unless they fix it, it is doomed :(( (

For the first time I encountered a buyer with your prompt Red flag / caution that her account was suspended.
I find Carousell app very easy to place my Ads for Sale both Preloved and New ones compared with other apps that have limitations to the number of items to sell.
I highly recommend it.

Account deactivated due to suspicious fraud activity when i have been a regular seller for > 5 years?
Some of my buyers have already paid up and we're in the midst of arranging a meet up location and my account just got deactivated out of the blue, if police reports were to be made against me it's all down to Carousell's poor handling of this case, unlike these idiots who work at Carousell I have always uphold my own values and not scam my customers by having sold items in the buyers hands. I don't know how they're getting new seed investments with such unpleasant experience and I sincerely hope the 3 founders of this $#*!ty company go to hell.

I stopped using Carousell for the following reasons:/

1) Extremely poor customers service;
2) There are too many restrictions;
3) Listing but/sell guideline not clear;
4) Too many restrictions (e. G- account gets suspended for NO valid reasons or over small issue like duplicate listings.
5) Sometimes, for No valid reasons given positive reasons rating was removed without good ground Nor information user;
6). The worst and extremely non user friendly platform I ever visited!
7) I hope that the Carousell platform can be deactivated soon.

Personally, will not recommend any user to visit Carousell market.:-(

Vomit blood using Carousell and contacting their support team!

No solid deals. They can make a offer then you accept it then they don't pay. People don't get back to you. Waste of time and no way of paid offers on the site. Depop is way better for selling. They do take a very small cut of your item once it's sold. Once someone buys it the money is in your account. Carousell is a waste of time no real buyers 90% are kids asking for free items!

Got scammed by some loser selling a mobile phone - tried to be as careful as possible, they even sent me their passport photo which matched bank account details and everything. Sent me a pair of $10 glasses they'd put in to make it look like there was an iPhone box in the parcel, the $#*!.

Don't trust it.

I've been doing online sales part-time Since 2010.

Worse buyers were available. Lots of Cheapskate, asking stupid questions, asking for a discount and not turning up and don't want the item after asking questions. Most of the time asking a question is listed on your description.

Poor Customer Service. Keep removing seller post/ban user ID without the true reason. Keep telling the seller an invalid reason. We go through our post again and again and is still be removed. Don't know what to do.

They blatantly allow fakes / replicas to be sold to increase transactions, and this is extremely unethical and illegal at the same time. Don't bother filing a report to them, as they don't give a damn.

I had tried reporting to them regarding a user who had constantly harrased me. I then put a listing to just warn others to beware of the harraser. Instead of helping me, they kept dragging the whole matter for a weeks with very little understanding and even suspended my account. I hope Carousell close down soon. Useless bloody app.

I had been with them since 2014. Sadly to say i will officially closed my account. They are just becoming back to worst. Recently, on the 20th of October took my coins away and randomly delete my makeup listings. The reason they give me was i listed my service wrongly. Bunch of scammers!

Bought Chanel earrings, turned out to be fake. Made a police report and informed carousell. Guess what, they do not care, seller still selling on their site. Its amovintagecollection. Very irresponsible of caousell so now another buyer will be hurt.

I have encountered many other users ghosting me or being slow to reply me - but I have been shown as "non responsive".

When I emailed my feedbacks to Carousell, they have not responded to my feedbacks too.

In addition to that, selling on Carousell has been a bad experience because I have listed my items for more than 3 years without receiving offers for them.

I would like to close my account with Carousell, since it has not given bad customer service, bad customer experience - which does reflect Carousell as a very unethical company.

Registered an old email address that gone with my phone Few years ago. Now using new email. So how t f can I view an old email when they Sen an information to that particular email?! Updated my new email but still no use! Been cheated frm some pyscho buyer, mia and still keep offering on other item. Such kinda thing and I Guess sure unhappy buyer reported me?! Seriously Carousell should improve their policies not simply auto computerised everything
