If I had read the reviews before I ordered my floor mats, I never would have ordered from them. Anyway, the floor mats did arrive earlier than expected and were delivered fed ex on a Saturday, no charge. The mats were just as they described and I am quite staisfied. Now... the big question is, do you think that they changed their ways because of all te negative reviews or was I just lucky?
IT's the worst website to order off the market accessories. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VULTURES! I have very unpleasant experience with them and I am not ordering any parts from them anymore. BEWARE of HASSLE FREE RETURNS coz it's not true. They will always email you back and forth for same old redundancy email and end up you'll not be able to refund your shipping and handling cost eventhough the fault is in their end. You'll end up paying the return shipping AS WELL for the product which DOES NOT fit in your vehicle despite the fact it's clearly before at check out that shld be compatible in your car. In later part when you received the product it doesn't fit and they want you to ripped something off just to make the product fit for their satisfaction! As far my understanding was, when you ordered a product on certain website we make sure that it's compatible and it fits and doesnt need any altercation bcoz most of us purchasing it are amateurs in installing it. Any products fits signify mismatch and you can't just say to you customer to rip a hole to make the bolt fit it... What kind of customer service is that? Don't tell me that it's factory defect. It's massive production and each every corner of the said parts are standardized and none of it was different from the other so don't make it a reason because of production defect it doesn't fit. IT'S HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH... I REGRET I ORDERED WITH THEM... PLEASE STAY AWAY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF BY THIS HEARTLESS AND OPPORTUNISTIC COMPANY.
I gave carid a try because I felt that other suppliers I had in mind had lots of bad reviews too. I also believe that people usually don't bother writing good reviews, most people only find time for writing complaints. I decided to give it a try and ordered some $70 accessory from them. Well, I'm pretty much satisfied. Everything was smooth and fast. I'm about to buy more from them and I will report my further experience with carid whatever it is.
I ordered front and back bumper guard bars for my truck from them. I called because i wanted to make sure they had what i wanted. They told me yes everything i wanted was in stock and would be mailing monday. Monday nothing. So wednesday still no tracking number. I call and they told me they were gonna check for me and would call me back. I get no call back but an email. Telling me that they have one of my bars and the other is on back order. They said they would be mailing me one and the other was on 30 day backorder. So what am i supposed to do with one bar. I instantly replied in the email that i wanted a full refund. I called the next day as soon as they opened and told them i want a refund. They told me i have to wait for the manufacturer to give them the money back. Even tho i paid them, not a manufacturer. Its now been over a week and i still don't have my money. Im out close to 500$ right now. Ive called way too many times and still nothing. This place is the definition of unproffessional. This is a horrible business that needs to be shut down. Do not buy anything at all from this place.
I cannot even give this sorry excuse for a busines even one star. I ordered a product that stated it was in stock and was told that I would receive a confirmation email which I didn't receive until I called them three times. They immediately charged me for the item only to find out that it was not in stock and it would be several weeks before it would be shipped. I called a week after this shipping date and was told that it would now not be shipped for a couple of more weeks. I asked for the order to be cancelled and a refund and was told that it would take 3-5 business days for me to receive a refund. That's BS and we all know if something can be charged in the same day that a refund can also be given in one day. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!
This company has no idea what they are doing. I ordered a part & 2 weeks later it finally arrived and didn' fit the car. I contacted them and after 2 more weeks of back & forth I reordered a different part number that they recommended. After 3 more weeks they emailed me saying the order couldn't be shipped because the part number was discontinued. They gave me a list of part numbers that should fit and I ordered one of those. After 4 more weeks I got a part that wouldn't fit the car! The nightmare finally ended after 2 1/2 months I got a refund but still had to pay shipping. Never again.
I ordered a set of car mats, and their e-mail acknowledgement stated they would ship them on April 25th. On Wednesday, April 20th, my husband surprised me with a set of car mats, so early on Thursday, April 21st, I called to see if I could cancel the order. The first person I spoke to said she thought I could and had me speak to their shipping department just in case. That individual also said he would make sure the order was canceled. On Saturday, April 23rd, I received an e-mail message stating that the order had SHIPPED. I tried to call them, but I received a phone message stating their offices were closed but I could call back during normal business hours of 8 to 5 ET Monday through Friday. I live in Los Angeles, 8 to 5 eastern time is 5am to 2pm. What a joke.
I did manage to send an e-mail, but after 5 e-mails I was told that I could not return the items or refuse the shipment, but if I destroyed the carpeted car mats (all 4 of them) and sent them a digital picture showing they were destroyed, they would be very happy to refund me 50% of the cost. ARE THEY KIDDING!
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and am awaiting the results.
Bottom Line - I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN, AND I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME.
These jackasses had to call me 3 times to confirm payment via paypal... wtf. But ok... told me shipped after 3 to 4 days of receiving payment, this was day 7 and no communication whatsoever. Ok so I do a live chat with a dumbass who took 30 minutes to tell me they had to call me to tell me if the order shipped... wow. U can't email me a tracking number? Oh yes because you never shipped it. Eventually i get a call from some other foreign sounding voice (5th call) to tell me item was damaged and he had ALREADY refunded. Without my asking. The auction said you had 3 of the items for sale, what about the other 2? Apparently they were damaged also. And why did you not tell me they were damaged the 1st call? I think my "best offer" was actually too low for them to accept. DONT ACCEPT AN OFFER IF YOU ARE LOSING MONEY! Duh! You couldnt ask to find a dumber and more disorganized company. Forgot to mention, also charged me twice for my purchase and refunded real fast because they were like "oh crap he's already paid". So 1. I paid, 2. Was charged, 3. Refunded, and eventually again 4. Refunded. 4 transactions for no product at all.
But who knows maybe all 3 items were damaged and I was wrong about losing money to a best offer. I feel my opportunity cost of putting my money in a real business was wasted for 2 weeks tied up in useless transactions and you could have called to tell me the product was broken when I placed the order. Actually, don't attempt to be selling broken merchandise. TAKE IT OFF YOUR LISTINGS. Jesus christ it was frustrating dealing with CARid.com ef off. I feel sorry for any unknowing customers that wander into the clusterf*** warehouse these guys must be running.

I''ve placed an order for a small item that cost 30 bucks and they charged on top a 30 bucks extra for the internationnal shipping.
It took 1 week for them to email me the tracking number... It came out to be a purolator as the carrier. $30 bucks for a shipment that weight no more than (say your tv remote?!?!) and with purolator? I would expect UPS at that price!
The shipment is apparently on transit and CARID said that if i choose to return the item, they will refund (i will lose the shipping fee only).
I think i will go that route, and refuse the item when the purolator guy shows up. Simply because the shippment was too slow and too expensive for that kind of delay. I will call the credit card tomorrow because something tells me that i will have more chance getting my money back from my credit card company than directly from CARID.
In other words, before you buy anything online make sure you type the following in Google: Name_of_the_company + sucks.

This is the worst store. They sent the shipment to the wrong address (wrong state) after they said the order was cancelled. They said they redirected the order. Ultimately they still billed me even though I got a cancellation notice. After all that, the order was wrong. I'm pissed! I would not wish this service or their products on anyone. Stay away! Carid: i bought a set of hid lights lasted about 4 mo they sent me another set lasted about 2 weeks sent me another set they lasted about 1mo called wells Fargo Bank and they said to return all items i did so know wells won't help me bur carid would not help they said the item had to be a like new to return i would like to know how you can use a set of lights in snow/mud and be a like new cond. Don't buy anything from Carid. They are rude, and don't care what happens to your order. Go directly to the manufacturer. Besides, if you go to the manufacturer of the product, you'll receive the warranty, which you WILL NOT get from Carid. I ordered rain deflectors for my BMW X5, and they wouldn't go in as easily as the Carid site claimed. The back-ends of the deflectors snapped when the window went up. Carid told me that it was a faulty installation. I called weathertec directly and they gave me a discount on a new set (Carid wouldn't) and they are shipping them for free and if they break weathertc will replace them free of charge.
If you buy from this website, hope that you don't have a problem because their customer service is terrible. Tried calling several times and there were alway at least 18 people ahead of me in line, sometimes over 30 people in the queue. I sent an email to their customer service and they responded four days later. They asked for digital photos of the product, the vehicle, and a number of other items that made absolutely no sense. It was nothing but a bureacratic way to making the customer go away without having to resolve the problem. Other websites would have taken a defective item back with no questions asked. Not these guys.
Ordered running boards for my truck. The estimated ship date was for 3 days later. I checked the site 4 days later to see if they shipped. The estimated ship date was changed to the next day. I monitored this for about 3 more days and every day the estimated ship date changed to the following day. The order was placed Jan 4. I called customer service and they said the boards would be back ordered until Feb 12. I checked the site to see if they shipped on Feb 14. Still did not ship. I again called customer service and was informed the item would not be available until mid March. I told them I would wait. Now my credit card was charged back when I made the order on Jan 4 so they have been holding my money making interest off it for about 2 months. I decided to cancel the order at the end of February after reading other reviews. I called customer service and was on hold for about 45 minutes. I went from being 16 in the que to 4th in the que and their system hung up on me. I called back two different times on different days and this happened 2 more times. I called back and pressed the number for sales. I explained the problem with their phone system. I was told they would send a message to customer service and someone would call me back within 24 hours. I got a call back later that evening and I explained that I wanted to cancel the order. The guy told me he was in sales and he would have to transfer me to customer service. I explained the problem with their phone system. He insured me I would not be cut off and would only be on hold for about 20 minutes. I again waited 45 minutes and their $#@! Ing phone system hung up on me again. I called back and again pressed for sales. After this call I felt a little bit sorry for the salesman who had to take my call. He he. Well, he insured me someone from customer service would call me back within 24 hours. When I got up the next morning I called them right away and finally got through to customer service and canceled my order. I am still waiting for the call back from customer service. Guess it will never happen.

Ordered a grill from Carid.
The grill arrived damaged.
Would not replace the grill because I had Installed it.
The only way to see the damage in this case, was after it was installed.
In pursuing this, I discovered that this was not even the brand of grill I ordered.
When I brought this up to Carly B in customer service she admitted they were out of stock and sent the cheaper grill instead. Nice.
She said it was just as good, even though their sales department will tell you otherwise. And they sell it for $46 cheaper than the one I ordered.
She also lied and said they could not replace the grill because they were out of stock.
I called their sales department right after I talked to her and the grill was in stock.

Today I was shopping for some nerf bars also called running boards for my truck and I came across Carid.com. The set I wanted said market price $135.44, our price $108.00 save 20%
Well after looking at other sites I thought this was a heck of a deal and proceeded to buy them. Well first it asked me for my model truck so I put it in the price went up $14.57 then it asked for the finish I wanted either stainless steel or black powdercoat so I clicked stainless steel and the price went up $40.19 for a total of $163.11
I was shocked so I chatted online with a sales rep and asked "why did the price jump from the sale price of $108", and they told me that "when you select the options you want the price goes up". I told them "ok but it says on sale for $108 it does not say priced from $108 like all the other sites". So I asked what can you sell them to me for and they told me $163.11 and then I replied "this is like false advertising" and they responded by saying "are you gonna buy them or what".
I had a "gut feeling" about Carid.com so I googled them for reviews and found this site. Now I am VERY HAPPY I did not buy from them. I went eslewhere and still got a good deal on some nerf bars, and to think I was gonna spend about $1500 on acessories from their site.
