If you buy from this website, hope that you don't have a problem because their customer service is terrible. Tried calling several times and there were alway at least 18 people ahead of me in line, sometimes over 30 people in the queue. I sent an email to their customer service and they responded four days later. They asked for digital photos of the product, the vehicle, and a number of other items that made absolutely no sense. It was nothing but a bureacratic way to making the customer go away without having to resolve the problem. Other websites would have taken a defective item back with no questions asked. Not these guys.

Ordered running boards for my truck. The estimated ship date was for 3 days later. I checked the site 4 days later to see if they shipped. The estimated ship date was changed to the next day. I monitored this for about 3 more days and every day the estimated ship date changed to the following day. The order was placed Jan 4. I called customer service and they said the boards would be back ordered until Feb 12. I checked the site to see if they shipped on Feb 14. Still did not ship. I again called customer service and was informed the item would not be available until mid March. I told them I would wait. Now my credit card was charged back when I made the order on Jan 4 so they have been holding my money making interest off it for about 2 months. I decided to cancel the order at the end of February after reading other reviews. I called customer service and was on hold for about 45 minutes. I went from being 16 in the que to 4th in the que and their system hung up on me. I called back two different times on different days and this happened 2 more times. I called back and pressed the number for sales. I explained the problem with their phone system. I was told they would send a message to customer service and someone would call me back within 24 hours. I got a call back later that evening and I explained that I wanted to cancel the order. The guy told me he was in sales and he would have to transfer me to customer service. I explained the problem with their phone system. He insured me I would not be cut off and would only be on hold for about 20 minutes. I again waited 45 minutes and their $#@! Ing phone system hung up on me again. I called back and again pressed for sales. After this call I felt a little bit sorry for the salesman who had to take my call. He he. Well, he insured me someone from customer service would call me back within 24 hours. When I got up the next morning I called them right away and finally got through to customer service and canceled my order. I am still waiting for the call back from customer service. Guess it will never happen.

DON'T BUY FROM THESE BAIT AND SWITCH LIARS.

Ordered a grill from Carid.
The grill arrived damaged.
Would not replace the grill because I had Installed it.
The only way to see the damage in this case, was after it was installed.
In pursuing this, I discovered that this was not even the brand of grill I ordered.
When I brought this up to Carly B in customer service she admitted they were out of stock and sent the cheaper grill instead. Nice.
She said it was just as good, even though their sales department will tell you otherwise. And they sell it for $46 cheaper than the one I ordered.
She also lied and said they could not replace the grill because they were out of stock.
I called their sales department right after I talked to her and the grill was in stock.

DON'T BUY FROM THESE BAIT AND SWITCH LIARS.

My order was sent to the wrong state and address. Called carid and have been put on hold for 40 minutes at a time. No help. Say they will call me back, thats not happening, blaming UPS for the mistake, but found out talking to UPS that UPS makes shipping lables, not address lables.UPS delivered it to the address they were directed to. Good thing I had tracking # Bad service, bad customer support. Readers you figure this one out. BUYERS BE WARE!

Today I was shopping for some nerf bars also called running boards for my truck and I came across Carid.com. The set I wanted said market price $135.44, our price $108.00 save 20%

Well after looking at other sites I thought this was a heck of a deal and proceeded to buy them. Well first it asked me for my model truck so I put it in the price went up $14.57 then it asked for the finish I wanted either stainless steel or black powdercoat so I clicked stainless steel and the price went up $40.19 for a total of $163.11
I was shocked so I chatted online with a sales rep and asked "why did the price jump from the sale price of $108", and they told me that "when you select the options you want the price goes up". I told them "ok but it says on sale for $108 it does not say priced from $108 like all the other sites". So I asked what can you sell them to me for and they told me $163.11 and then I replied "this is like false advertising" and they responded by saying "are you gonna buy them or what".

I had a "gut feeling" about Carid.com so I googled them for reviews and found this site. Now I am VERY HAPPY I did not buy from them. I went eslewhere and still got a good deal on some nerf bars, and to think I was gonna spend about $1500 on acessories from their site.

Placed an order for a carbon fiber interior kit ONLY after the customer service representative ASSURED me the order would arrive to my door within 5-7 days - plenty of time to have it installed before my scheduled car show. The following day, I received an email stating the order was scheduled to ship 11 days later and would arrive to my door the day of the car show. I immediately called to cancel the order and understand, I placed my order at 2:30 AM and called to cancel the following day at 12:00 PM, but was told they would rush the product and have it to me no later than 24 Jan 2011. I emailed/called carID numerous times to no avail regarding trying to track the process of my order. Yesterday, 24 Jan 2011, I receive another email stating 'your order has shipped and is expected to arrive 27 Jan 2011 - again, the day of the car show. Having ordered this product specifically for the car show, I have no use for it now and based on previous reviews, I'll assume the BBB and my credit card company will have to get involved in order for me to get a refund. Regardless of product, if a company does business like this, stay away. I wish I would have read the 'other' reviews instead of the ones on their web site.

The descriptions and photos of the products on their website are a farce! Inaccurate descriptions and photos are not representative of the item they are selling, Spent HOURS on hold to speak with "customer service" to return the Coverking seat covers that I purchased ( "Easy Returns", "Hassle Free", "No Headaches") and after two weeks and a dozen emails and phone calls, have still not received an RMA from CARiD and have submitted a dispute through my creditor for a full refund.
Submitted a "Customer Review" of the product on the CARiD website ( "1 Star") and it was not posted to the site so evidently, only "good" reviews will be posted on their site -- FAR from honest!

Their shipping STINKS, and they have lied to me as far as shipping goes. The headache is not worth the few bucks you save here. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I cancelled my order after reading NUMEROUS BAD REVIEWS about these guys and went to my local dealer for only 20% more and BETTER service. RUN AWAY FROM THESE CLOWNS!

Ordered floor liners for a 2008 volvo c30 on dec 10. On dec 22 after 30 mins on hold I was told that the order had shipped. On the 3 of jan after another 30 mins on hold I was told that they were waiting on a tracking # from the factory and that I would have it within 24 hours. On jan 4th after 45 mins on hold and a 20 min chat session with cust support I was told that they still had no tracking number and weren't really sure where my order was. HORRIBLE. And after complaining till I was blue in the face I was offered a discount on my next order... LOL NEXT ORDER... yeah right! NEVER. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! Unless of course you are a fan of uncertainty and don't really care if and when your products arrive!

This website has a lot of nice car items. But the shipping and customer service sucks! Please I beg of you do not deal with theses people Car ID is a rip off and not worthy of being called honest; especially in dealing in business. I still have not recieved my item after two weeks. Simply this company is terrible.

Carid is the WORST

Carid is the WORST. To say the least dealing with Carid has not been a pleasant experience and customer service is non existent. The entire order has been wrong with damaged items, RMA's sent for the wrong manufacturer, parts not fitting as they are for the wrong vehicle, their mistake, not mine.

1- The grille I ordered was damaged, parts were also missing.
2- lights come with no instruction, I had to modify them to fit my truck 4 hours spent on a simple 30 minute project.
3- now the Weather Tech window covers do not fit as they are for a wrong vehicle not my 2010 F-150 super-crew. Not Weather Tech fault as Carid ordered the wrong parts

I have not been able to speak to any supervisor, many hours of my time wasted, 8 phone calls and counting trying to get these problems addressed with 10 plus e-mails, still no resolution as to the issues at hand. A measily $30 discount that does not come close to my time wasted with calls e-mails and installation of all items being frustrating and with no accomplishment in sight.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS ORGANIZATION AS THEY ARE CLUELESS AND JUST A BUNCH OF ORDER TAKERS. NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT THEY SELL OR ANYTHING ABOUT CARS. What a concept.

I finally went to my credit card company and disputed the entire sales purchase of $800.00 plus dollars. I need to get a refund for the grille, I also need a refund for the Weather Tech products and an RMA. This should not be hard to do, nor should it take days to accomplish.

This company really sucks! Do yourself a BIG favor... Go somewhere else to buy your car accessories!

carid.com is the absolute worst. They are dishonest thieves. I ordered some wood trim for my car and I even spoke to a carid.com rep on the phone. He assured me that I would recieve the product in 5 to 7 days. After two weeks I still did not receive the product. When I enquired about it they said it was back ordered and they will ship it in another 10 days. Guess what? I still have not recieved the product and I have been asking for a refund ever since but so far they seem to be ignoring me. Save yourself the stress, do not order anything from carid.com

This company is extremely difficult to deal with. Unwilling to help with defective products. Unwilling to help with shipping costs of defective products. Took weeks to reply to emails. They eventually put my on the block list of their emails so that they wouldn't have to refund me the shipping costs.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!

Very bad experience!

Very bad experience! Will never try to buy anything from them again. The Wether Tech Deflector page said "in stock, ship in 1-2 days", I got 2 emails, weeks apart of dalay of shipping. When I finally got tired of waiting, called and cancelled. They agreed to refound me the full $55, but only gave me $35 because days later the product arrived and they shipped it to me anyway (their mistake), I've alredy purchased locally (by the way, cheaper) so I called FedEX and told them to return to sender. These guys are disorganised, and dishonest. Tried to talk to a Manager after this mes... you guessed it... busy.

This is the worst company ever to deal with... I bought a rear fender for my car and when I recieved it late it was nothing like the picture shows or describes... when I returned the product back for a refund they said the product was damaged but no one could tell me how the product was damaged. They said they would ship it back to me and instead they shipped back to me a bunch of car toys! After calling them to see what the@#$& is going on they couldn't tell me and three months now I have been calling them to get a refund and get the district managers name and number... but they would not give me any information. Don't do busisness with this company if you don't want to be ripped off.

The worst

The worst. I ordered a Wood trim packing for my Nissan Altima. Their website guided me to the wrong trim based onthe questions it asked. Then, when I asked to have it exchanged, said it was my fault. Best they could do is let me order a new one at a discount. Even though the company says its based on NJ, all customer support and managers barely speak English and they all are rude. Even though the prices are decent, don't be fooled. Carid.com is the worst!

Do not believe their "No Hassles... No Headaches" return policy. I ordered lights from their Web Site that were advertised to fit a Ford F-150, but when we attempted to have them installed, we found out they did not fit the truck. It has been over a month and I have yet to receive my "Return Merchandise Authorization" from them, and they have refused to pay the shipping fees. It has been nothing but headaches and hassles. I've had to send them pictures of my truck and the lights, to prove the truck is a Ford F-150. They even requested the VIN#! Do not order from this company!

CARID provides the worst customer service that I have encountered in probably 60 years. The order I placed in April 2010 was delivered incomplete and trying to get the missing parts has been a very frustrating experience. I have called seven times with no success - the missing parts will be sent (they weren't), the missing parts aren't in stock but will be shipped in 2 to 3 weeks (they weren't), a manager will call back in 1/2 hour (I'm still waiting!). DO NOT ORDER FROM CARID!

I ordered car mats from this company and received the wrong color. I contacted customer service and they said they would give me 1/2 credit for the mats I received and would send me a confirmation and authorization to return the wrong color mats.

After a week I contacted them as to why I hadn't received the above and they told me that the manufacturer would not issue credit or enter a new order unless I destroyed the old mats and sent the pictures to Carid.

I DID AND THE REP WOULD NOT RESPOND BACK TO ME. TWO WEEKS LATER I HAVE CAR MATS THAT I DESTROYED BY CUTING THEM IN HALF AND NO NEW MATS. AND OUT $74.00.

DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY,

Carid.com is the worst company I've dealt with in at least 10 years. I ordered a wood grain dash kit that the site stated was manufactured, ready to ship.
Then received an e-mail stating estimated shipping date was 8 days although the site stated usually 3-5. No more updates, after the date came and went, I called their customer "nosupport" and was told it was being manufactured and will ship in another 5 days. Date came and went.
I've sent two e-mails, unanswered at to date, two phone calls, one of which found me talking to an imbecile who was rude and no help at all.
I have just sent another e-mail stating that if I receive no satisfactory response in 24 hours, I will cancel and contest the order with my credit card company for the charge they made the day after I ordered.
I have never had good luck with a company that charges the credit card before the item ships. Carid.com is no exception. BAD company, BAD service, BAD communication. This is a NO BUY advisory.
