I just ordered my weathertech matts today and have an estimated 9 days till they are shipped out? I will update this after I recieve my item. I decided to give them a chance because I dont think people take the time to write a good review as oppsed to a bad experience as well.
Don't believe Google reviews on this site. As a company, you can apparently pay India/Indonesa 50 cents per positive review. That is the only reason I can think of why this company has a 4/5 rating.
They are basically corrupt. I tried to return a shipped item. Before they processed my RMA, they demanded they had to have the tracking number... even though I included the proper paperwork on the outside and inside of package.
Then they denied my $350 return because of missing parts. I unpacked and packed all the items (3 total... box of nuts bolts, 2 running boards).
THis company is untrustworthy.
I've oredered from them before and everything has always gone smoothly. Just yesterday I made another purchase of over $500 and am confident that all of my items will come just as hassle-free as last time. I also 'chatted' with their service representatives on multiple occasions and they were very professional and pleasant. They have yet to let me down and I will continue to shop with them.
Like a lot of other victims on this site, I ordered some plastic wheel covers for my car. They arrived from "Onyx Enterprises," and at the time I was like WTF, but whatever (except now I understand after looking at Site Jabber). I had to return them because they were the wrong size, so I followed the instructions on the RMA explictly (had to pay for postage and tracking to boot) and used the box and packing materials the covers came in.
Lo and behold, I get an e-mail from CARiD saying they can't refund my purchase because the covers did not arrive in "resellable condition." The reason? There was a "scratch" on one of the wheel covers. The picture they supplied as "evidence" was absolutely laughable - I wish I could upload it. People who would complain about that "scratch" are the same kind of people who would complain about getting a brand new flatscreen TV for free, but are mad that it's last year's model.
Anyway, CARiD said there was "nothing they could do". I guaran-goddamn-tee you that those wheel covers were immediately sold to someone else, and I'll bet you they don't even notice the "scratch" and are happy with them.
Stay away at all costs! I wish I had come here before making my purchase. No other reputable seller would treat a customer this way over these particular facts.
They got me! But lucky for me, not too bad. I ordered a grille-guard for a pick up truck and was told 2 weeks to ship. Then they changed that date 2 more times. Blamed it on manufacturer. In all it took over 9 weeks, Finally got it, A GO RHINO WRANGLER GRILLE GUARD. I drove all the way to my brothers house so he could help me install it. But guess what? No instructions in the box at all, and with 6 pounds of parts i could have used them. I know thats not carid's fault but over 2 months got me upset. I drove back home and printed the instructions from online. Try again tomorrow.
First order, they took 2-3 months to ship a body kit they kept "promising" would ship. As "retribution" they offered a $25 gift certificate toward a future purchase. When I went to buy floor mats using this gift certificate, the code given didn't work. When I connected through their online chat, the sales representative contacted billing and they said they would honor the certificate on floor mats that said "usually ships within 24 hours" a few days later, still without an order confirmation email, I contacted sales again and they claimed that the order would ship in a week and that billing decided not to honor the gift certificate after all. This is after I was quoted a price, and after I gave my credit card information...
Also, their website claims the floor mats are 20% off; however, they are selling these mats at MSRP, which is fixed by the manufacturer, and they CANNOT change the pricing. They essentially inflate the price, then discount to MSRP to appear as if you are getting a good deal...
After the floor mats I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS with CARID again.

I purchased a Bull Bar online for my Toyota FJ, pay for it and then I am advised there was a mistake on the website with pricing not the part number just pricing. The Rep admits the fault sends my an email confirming their mistake and honoring the purchase. Next thing I know I get a bunch of emails saying they are retracting their offer? Poorest customer service ever. Spend a little more and deal with a company that backs their business practises these guys really do not care about doing the right thing. My next step is BBB and a few other Goverment Agencies, people need to know aboiut these guys.
Ordered a grill for a VW Jetta. It was the cheapest piece of junk! The body shop refused to install it. There was no access for the hood release. Because of the time involved to get an appointment with the body shop, I was 2 days past the 30 return policy and Carid refused to take the product back. I tried twice to deal with customer service and now I'm stuck with a POS. They told me to put it on ebay! Who would I want to stick with it? STAY AWAY from this company.

This site is absolutely terrible. They suck you in with a very well designed website and ordering system but once they have your money they do not care one bit. I ordered front and back seat covers for my car on august 29th. They instantly charged my credit card as the first step of their shipping process which is ridiculous and then asked me for additional shipping money since my order was over the border. I did not give them the authorization to charge my credit card again and wanted to cancel the order. I called and spoke with someone on sep 9th and he assured me the order wasnt going to ship until the 19th. After cancelling the order I get a phone call telling me I can't get a refund because they had already shipped! Speaking with customer service was not much help and the 3 different people I spoke with were hard to understand through their thick accents. In the end what happend was they covered the extra shipping cost and shipped the order anyway. Very frustrating experience, especially since I wanted to cancel my order and spend my money somehwere a little more competent. I always research sites before buying but did not before using carid.com, I wish I had because I am hard pressed to find a single good review about their service. Please do not give your money to this abhorrent site, buy elsewhere even if the price is higher.
I wish I had read the reviews about Carid before I purchased chrome door handles from them! I am going through the same issues as Dface below.

Biggest mistake ordering from them!
Ordered items on July 5th, 2011, large order, i have received only 2 items out of 6, I payed 300$ for shipping on 947$ order, and now the third item came even with COD and tax, item value is 79.95$, shipping 18$ and COD +tax 22$, so its together now 119.95$, i asked them if they have done international shipping if the item price for me goes up by 50%! I ordered HID kits too, which they were saying they will ship very fast, its 2 weeks now and they still are not even shipped out... Bug deflector they didnt have in stock so they said aprox estimated shipping date is August 5th. Im gone call tomorrow to the bank and will try to get part of my money, because this is not even funny! I left msg that i want to talk with manager, do you think somebody called me, of course not! This place is just $#*!hole, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
If I had read the reviews before I ordered my floor mats, I never would have ordered from them. Anyway, the floor mats did arrive earlier than expected and were delivered fed ex on a Saturday, no charge. The mats were just as they described and I am quite staisfied. Now... the big question is, do you think that they changed their ways because of all te negative reviews or was I just lucky?
IT's the worst website to order off the market accessories. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VULTURES! I have very unpleasant experience with them and I am not ordering any parts from them anymore. BEWARE of HASSLE FREE RETURNS coz it's not true. They will always email you back and forth for same old redundancy email and end up you'll not be able to refund your shipping and handling cost eventhough the fault is in their end. You'll end up paying the return shipping AS WELL for the product which DOES NOT fit in your vehicle despite the fact it's clearly before at check out that shld be compatible in your car. In later part when you received the product it doesn't fit and they want you to ripped something off just to make the product fit for their satisfaction! As far my understanding was, when you ordered a product on certain website we make sure that it's compatible and it fits and doesnt need any altercation bcoz most of us purchasing it are amateurs in installing it. Any products fits signify mismatch and you can't just say to you customer to rip a hole to make the bolt fit it... What kind of customer service is that? Don't tell me that it's factory defect. It's massive production and each every corner of the said parts are standardized and none of it was different from the other so don't make it a reason because of production defect it doesn't fit. IT'S HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH... I REGRET I ORDERED WITH THEM... PLEASE STAY AWAY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF BY THIS HEARTLESS AND OPPORTUNISTIC COMPANY.
I gave carid a try because I felt that other suppliers I had in mind had lots of bad reviews too. I also believe that people usually don't bother writing good reviews, most people only find time for writing complaints. I decided to give it a try and ordered some $70 accessory from them. Well, I'm pretty much satisfied. Everything was smooth and fast. I'm about to buy more from them and I will report my further experience with carid whatever it is.
I ordered front and back bumper guard bars for my truck from them. I called because i wanted to make sure they had what i wanted. They told me yes everything i wanted was in stock and would be mailing monday. Monday nothing. So wednesday still no tracking number. I call and they told me they were gonna check for me and would call me back. I get no call back but an email. Telling me that they have one of my bars and the other is on back order. They said they would be mailing me one and the other was on 30 day backorder. So what am i supposed to do with one bar. I instantly replied in the email that i wanted a full refund. I called the next day as soon as they opened and told them i want a refund. They told me i have to wait for the manufacturer to give them the money back. Even tho i paid them, not a manufacturer. Its now been over a week and i still don't have my money. Im out close to 500$ right now. Ive called way too many times and still nothing. This place is the definition of unproffessional. This is a horrible business that needs to be shut down. Do not buy anything at all from this place.
