I am in the market for 111-DMAG05-LED-RC LED taillights for my Dodge Magnum. CARiD.com said the they had them in stock according to their website so I decided to get it from CARiD.com. I placed the order on Friday, December 12,2014 and they estimated that it should ship on Tuesday, December 16,2014. I contacted them on the 18th to find out why it hasn't shipped yet. They said that it was most likely shipped but they just needed to update the tracking number. Checked back today, the 19th, and found that they pushed back the shipment day to March 15,2015. Yes, 3 months out, without warning. The most annoying thing is that their website still says that they have them in stock.

If I could give them a negative that is what I would do. I am out $780 for a damaged part and one I never received that go figure doesn't even fit for the light bar. I should have googled reviews and realized this was to good to be true. You will never be able to talk to a live person after the sale. Absolutely pitiful. Ordered a push bar for my truck on September 31! Was told that the product was out of stock and it would be shipped November 7. In hindsight I should have cancelled my order but I appreciated the honesty and decided to wait. Well, November 7 came and went without a word. I began sending emails inquiring if they might be able to give me a ballpark as to when it might be shipped. Ignored. I continue to try to contact them until I finally receive a reply on DECEMBER 12! And what was the response? We regret to inform you that your part is not going to ship for another 4-6 weeks! Keep in mind that during this whole 3 month ordeal they had my money! Their way of "making it right" was to offer me $25 off of my NEXT order... Sorry folks, there isn't going to be a next order! Save yourselves the headache and shop elsewhere. Awful, awful, awful. They sell products they don't have, promise it'll ship within 72 hours and then nothing. Have to call days later, multiple times to actually talk to someone btw, to confirm that yes they lied and took my money. To get your money back once you realize this site is a scam it takes almost a week. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable website to order from.
Ordered tail lights for my truck on 11/28 with an estimated ship date (at the time) 12/3. I never got the shipment notification so I called them on 12/7 their recording said they were open from 10-7p est on Sunday, I called in the afternoon and after hearing the hours again I was disconnected because they were closed. I facebooked them and they acted like they cared but then never responded when it was time for a response. So I called again 12/8 and was assured it would ship that day, the next day... nothing, it didn't ship until 2 days after they promised and now I've got a whole weekend to wait. UPS thinks they have my items but we will have to see...

This company is a fraud. I ordered a clock radio 12/01/2014 over the phone and they confirmed it was in stock. I asked several times to triple ck the product for verification and was told they were available. I called on 12/7/14 to ck the status and was told it would be shipped on 12/10/14 - and they were showing 2 in stock. Today 12/9/ I received an email it would ship January 25th 2015. Absolutely a crooked group of individuals with little chance of success keeping their doors open. Avoid dealing with this company in any manner.

I purchased a replacement side view mirror (just the glass and backing plate) for my 13 subaru forester from CARID. The new part mounts to three points in the mirror housing. The generic directions said to press firmly but gently to install... Well, after half an hour only two of the three points would lock in. One last push and the mirror breaks but still doesn't lock in! The company refuses to replace this. After talking to two employees and a manager I was told that these break all the time during installation and that it does not qualify for a warranty claim. They did offer me a $15 gift card towards the purchase of another. I declined. CARID will not get my patronage in the future.
I have a Jeep Wrangler that I have put close to $8000 in over the past five years. From time to time I have had stupid issues like this happened with other companies, they always bend over backwards (Quadratec.com especially) to resolve the problem. Guess CARID doesn't care about the longevity of their customer relationships.

Very frustrated with carID at the moment! I placed my order on December 1,2014 for headlights and tail lights and the estimated ship dates were Dec 3 & 4. My credit card was charged on the 3rd. On the 5th, none of my items were shipped, so I called and checked as to why. The operator called the warehouse to make sure they were in stock and told me that they would ship that day. Here we are on December 8th and STILL NONE OF THE ITEMS HAVE SHIPPED! I tried to call carID and the hold time is 24 minutes and I put my number in to be called back... still waiting! I then went to the Internet and have read numerous BAD REVIEWS about this same issue with carID and now I'm a bit worried about getting my $$ back at this point! I called back over an hour after leaving my number and now they are magically closed for the day, when the message stated they should be open for over another hour by the time I called.

Wow. Where to start. First I paid $772.00 for a group of parts for my Jeep. 5 days later I see that not one single part has shipped yet. I called CariD 5 times and 6 E-mails later I find basically zero answers. Vague answers as to when items will ship. I finally insisted on obtaining a phone # for the actual manufacturer of the parts. I called and find out that 1 item ( $407.00) is not even made anymore/is obsolete and I will never be receiving it. Then I find out 2 more items ( another $80.00) are back ordered for over 6-8 weeks.
I must admit that after staying on hold forever that the service group was polite and apologetic ( all except 1 who refused to call me back or return any communications whatsoever) but it still took 5 days to get my money refunded to my credit card after cancelling the orders.
Out of the 6 items ordered; only 1 shipped in 3-4 days after ordering... 1 shipped 7 days after ordering and then I find out that they stipulated "adult signature required"; This was never mentioned! I live alone and had to pay UPS an extra charge to have the parts delivered to my work place!
3 items had to be cancelled and refunded. The final item still has not even shipped yet after 7 days, but I remain hopeful that all will go OK with this item at least.
This is a "drop ship" company that has NO INVENTORY! They just act as a middle man making money off of other companies! Buy direct from their manufactures! Save yourself a lot of thime, effort and aggravation!

Well, they asked me to give them a second chance. I thought we all deserve one, so alright. I ordered the 3rd brake light for my son's truck in November 2014 thinking it would be there by Christmas. I got an email saying it was to ship on the 12th or so. I thought great! But it didn't show up for Christmas and I received another email sometime later saying it was backordered and would be in around Feb. 17 or so. Take in mind, it was still showing on their website as" in stock." I called to do a trick question to the sales rep asking about the same part. He was going to take my order on it when I asked if it was in stock, he said he would check. He did say "no", but it would only take a week or two max for it to ship. I said I would think about it. Then I get another email later saying the part had been discontinued and I could get a similar light for almost $50 higher. I told them to forget it. Good thing it wasn't a major gift for my son.

I have bought 3 things from Carid, and had no issues until now. I recently purchased some new head lights for my 07 Tahoe, which were promised to improve vision while adding Halo rings and LEDs and boy was that a lie. They offer their 30 day return policy unless you install them, which is where the issue arrises on top of the blantant lie of them improving vision, the headlights are comparable to driving with just my fog lights on, and they refused to refund my money because I Installed them, how am I supposed to know they're junk until I get them installed. Bottom line is I was planning many more purchases from Carid which will not happen even if buying else where is more expensive.

I ordered a kit for my back drum brakes for my jeep wrangler from this company. The kit came quickly and everything was great until i went to put on the final piece on the install (the drums) and found they did not fit at all. Its been 3 weeks and lots of phone calls and emails with customer service. I still have not gotten this fixed. I regret i did not research them before placing my order. I do almost all of my purchasing online. Never have i dealt with such poor customer service. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute charges as a last ditch effort. How can a company expect you to wait weeks to finish your car while they sort out their problems? Tip for carid... if you make a mistake and quickly make it right that is great customer service. 3 weeks is not quick= poor customer service.

BUYER BEWARE.
I ordered a brush guard for my 2012 GL Mercedes per the website. Had not one but two deaths in family -- did not go to install guard until 3 months later. Found out from Black Horse that Carid should never have marketed the brush guard for the 2012 GL as IT DOES NOT FIT. (Yes, way past the 30 day policy but did not want refund just an exchange for the right guard -- I offered to pay all shipping costs.)
Black Horse (mfr) was fantastic as they worked with me & mechanic trying to devise a way to install brush guard but it did not "bolt" on only would work if drilled. MB said they would void warranty. Black Horse said if I bought from them they would permit exchange - as even though many many months past (by the time back/forth time = 1 year) -- the guard was still in original container.
CarId said "no" and they now no longer carry the guard in their inventory! In fact, they changed their website so it no longer reflects the guard for the GL. (False marketing!)
When I challenged them they stated that I was past due date and "that was that."
Be very careful that even though I followed the "pull down options" exactly -- CarId was wrong. Do not wait to install or do returns... or heaven forbid. Have extenuating circumstances or even deaths... Shameful. I was not asking for a "break" -- offered to even pay all costs. Just wanted a bumper guard so the deer in my area don't take out my car.
I have a brand new bumper guard for a GL - Black Horse said that it is for a 2010 or earlier. CarId told me to try Ebay."
I ordered Toyota Tundra 2000-2006, Red/Smoke LED Tail Lights by Spec-D. They took a long time shipping, never sent tracking information. When I called to cancel the order, I was told they shipped already, and they had to contact UPS to get me tracking number. Instead of a tracking number I get and Email saying sorry the factory has a problem and the product will ship soon. The next day I get the Taillights, and they don't fit correctly and are made very cheaply. The studs that are suppose to hold them close to the quarter panel are just pushed into plastic holes. They come out with your fingers. If you get them installed, there are gaps around the Quarter panel, and you can pull them off with one finger. There is no way I am accepting these junk tail lights. I will be returning them.
