I order a "Replace" brand wheel from CARiD and once I had a tire mounted on it you could see that the rim lip has a slight bend in it. I contacted CARiD who said they would contact the mfg who in turn stated it could not be returned since it was mounted so CARiD thanked me for shopping with them. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Stay away from CARiD and Replace brand wheels.

They lied about that. They sent me a tracking number after about 10 days. Tracking number gave an estamated delivery date of 'arch 7 but said the order is in Riverside Ca awaiting drparture. Been saying that for 10 days. Yesterday was march 7th. Checked tracking number this morning and says unable to estimate delivery date. I have sent many emails and have even asked them to cancel order and refund my money ( $756). I keep getting responces back saying my order is on the way. Do not buy from this company. I tead reviews last night and most people have had serious problems from carid. Late or nonexistant deliveries, wrong or missing parts, blemished or damaged parts. Buyer beeare. You have been warned.
I ordered a simple replacement grille for my classic truck. I entered all the correct information (per their ordering specifics) and even received a confirmation of this, being accurate. I received the grille - to an entirely different vehicle! No biggie, just send back and get a credit and correct replacement, right? Not even close! I had to take pictures of the product and labels of packaging, email to them as proof and wait. And wait. And wait. After nearly 3 weeks (and talking with 3 different CS Reps), I finally received a return shipping label. I was told this is a necessary process due to all the fraud they deal with. Anyway, VERY PAINFUL return process despite there site contending a "simple return process". Apparently all their customers are dishonest until proven otherwise. There are lots of other on-line parts resources. I do not recommend these folks. Just sayin...

Car Id is absolutely horrible, there customer service is rude and don't know what there talking about! I ordered a valance, they sent me the wrong one you can clearly see, and they won't refund the difference or help me out in any way because according to them the part number on the box is right so that means its the correct part placed in it. BULLSH*T. These people are a poor excuse for a company. DO NOT BUY THINGS FROM THEM! I will add that they gave me the refund just to satisfy me because I told them I was going to write horrible reviews.

My son wanted some accessories for his truck and told me to look at CARiD. I was able to find the specific items for his truck, ordered and that was it. The items came perfect with no problem.
I bought the custom seat covers for my 2013 Camaro convertible. First the black that they use looks like dark blue with the top down and looks odd with the real black that is in the car. Second the cutout for the round button for the seat belt holder strap must have been done by Stevie Wonder with a dull butter knife because it it 3x larger than the button and there is no chance of tucking it behind anything. I just sewed it up and it looks stupid. Then like an idiot I bought the rear seat covers because I wanted them to match (at least) and they sent me the covers for a non-convertible. Like a moron I was busy and I left them in the box and by the time I went to put them on and realize that the seat cover had way more holes for the seatbelt... it was past their 30 day time limit and they only offered me a $25 gift card against another purchase with them. Yeah right, I'll buy something from CarID when hell freezes over.
They have a good thorough site. I plan to do more business with them. I purchased some LED colored lights for my Corolla-- pretty cool. I may upgrade to more and brighter- this was my first in purchasing colored LED. Shipping was a day quicker than they had estimated. Good Company
The guy (can't remember his name and can't find the follow up email he sent) who took my call was very helpful and accommodating. He made sure I was ordering the right Roll-n-Lock for my truck. He was very friendly and helpful and answered all my questions with expertise. When it got here, it fit perfect and looks fabulous! The directions were clear and precise. I am very satisfied and will order from CARid again if I need anything else!
