I ordered a tailgate for my truck and it never got delivered to my house it supposedly sat at fedex for 3 days then it got returned to these scam artist carid but they still charged me and i have to go somewhere else for a tailgate if your reading this you will have a bad exsperience dealing with these clowns.
I wouldn't refer this site to anybody. I ordered a complete floor pan on February 6 and canceled it on February 8. I still received a confirmation, that it was still being shipped on the 11. I spoke to multiple people about canceling this order but they lied and said it had been shipped out on the 9. HOW? Now they are telling me, I must accept the floor pan and destroy it, than send them a picture, to get my money back. All because they don't want to pay for return shipping. So basically they messed up the order, on their end. Now they are holding my $400 hostage. When I told them I wasn't going to accept the package when it was delivered. The guy tries get aggressive with me. He said I'm out of luck about my money. This is the worst costumer service I have ever had. The Guy Said cut it with a knife to destroy it, for that comment he deserved to be fired. This is unacceptable business practice, and for that I will not spend another dime with this company or refer it to anyone.
I would not recommend to my worst enemy! They are horriable! Good luck trying customer care because most of them barley know English! Never again for me and hope u guys don't make the same mistake I did!
So I bought so reverse led lights for my car. From the description I was under the impression that it was a direct fitment... Which it was... But they didn't work. Long story short, CARiD told me to buy resistors, on top of the 40 dollar tab I shelled out, I went ahead and just bought standard halogen bulbs and asked for a refund. They told me no. They will only pay for the return shipment... Wow. Last time I buy from these people again

The ordering was simple, the part descriptions were accurate, the shipping was fast even though it came from different warehouses, they all seemed to get there at the same time :) But most important, the parts I ordered were actually correct... sure can't say that for other companies out there online. I ordered some Plasma LED lights for my Accord from Carid, but then found them for less elsewhere (different brand though) They beat the price I found elsewhere and shipped them UPS. UPS actually lost the shipment so after contacting UPS, I was contacted by Carid, who promptly shipped me the originally ordered lights, for what I had already paid, and I received them in about 3 days. Excellent Customer Service, and a 1st Class Company across the board. I will do much more Business with them in the future, guaranteed!

They uh, forgot to send one of two parts I ordered! Then I asked them not to send it, I couldn't wait for it... but they sent it! AND after another call, I finally got an RMA to return it. Or so I thought. It took a third call and another weeks' wait to actually get the RMA email to me. Their account of it shows the RMA started January 12th and I received the email on February 2nd. Now I have spent over an hour to get my money back for the part, minus shipping costs! They have refused at every turn, and I gave them opportunities to accommodate me with this. Although their representatives seem to be professional and courteous the actual results are very poor in this instance. {I am not very confident I will get my refund without further action on my part.}
Update: To their credit; I did get every last cent back from them, but it cost me another 20 minutes. All in all, quite a loss. I will never even consider using them again.
Both the American and Canadian K&N web sites listed the air filter as out of stock. I was able to order the filter from carID easily and quickly. Will definitely shop there again.
This company is the worst, purchased some Lexani custom painted wheels which CarID match the WRONG tires for the wheels causing rocks and debris to hit the outter edge of the wheel and cause scratches and dents in the wheels. The problem is that the wheel outer lip sticks out further then the tire therefore the wheel has no protection. Called them and ask what they can do for me and the sales rep said "You can send them back for repair at your cost". What the hell, why is this my fault, it's clear that these tire are the wrong type for these wheels. Sales rep said because I drove on them that the damage was my fault. I responded saying "If I didn't drive on them no one would of known if they were prone to road debris issue. Anyway don't do business with these crooks..
