First, I'd like to say that the products I received from CARiD were good quality so I have no issue with them. I purchased custom wheels from them and three things became a problem. 1. The initial wheels I ordered stated they were available and then when they processed the order, the shipping date became 3 months from order date. The wheels were not available. CARiD did a good job of helping me with my second choice but the tracking information was never correct which leads to concern #2.2. Anytime I called customer service, the only response I was given was that they would send me an email in 1-2 business days to follow up with the concern. I literally had to force the customer service rep to get me an answer to my concern while I was on the phone with them by telling them I was canceling the order if they couldn't get me an answer while I was talking with them. It was as if customer service goes through a third-party provider who answers the phone and then gets in touch with CARiD to actually help the customer. It was frustrating and I felt like I was being processed and not helped. 3. When I received the second set of wheels, they came with specific lug nuts that had an internal hex pattern. When I called the wheel "experts", they had me send them a picture of the lug nuts they sent to me to verify what they had sent to give me an answer as to what tool was required to install them. True to form, they sent me an email two business days later saying that they couldn't tell from the picture I sent what lug nuts they were looking at. OK, they sent the lug nuts! And to top it off, they told me that they were standard lug nuts that only required a standard socket or lug wrench which is completely inaccurate. And this came from their wheel and tire "experts." I won't be doing business again with them.

I ordered lenses for my truck the price was right 84 bucks Great! Well by the time they priced them out in Canadian it was 170 still not bad so I ordered them. Next thing I know the order is on hold so I call and ask why well they wanted 2,00 for I don't know what so I paid it the next day I get a call telling me that the Company Spyder don't ship international so here I am Screwed cause 1 of their cronies that can't wipe their arse let alone anything else properly fails to tell me this when I placed the order so I go to management to see what can be done and this crook comes out and tells me that this is their policy and nothing can be done ok so I go to pay the extra 38,50 so now the price is 208,50 for a pair of lenses and because of their inconpentence their out of stock and I now have to wait 3 to 5 business days because of this pathetic putted pics poor excuse of a staffing service that I ever seen out of a supposedly repeatable company Hede what I say and do not waste your time with these people

I discovered they offered a military discount on the web site. I asked if they would offer the discount on the trans. They linked me to my own page with the discount. On 3/22/17 I purchased the trans using paypal. I received no notification of the sale from carid. 4/11 I asked for a status update. I was told it would ship on 4/21.4/24 I asked for an update.

4/25 I received a phone saying it wouldn't ship until May 21. Do you want to cancel. I said no and asked for a POC at the manufacturer. I then received an email saying it wouldn't ship until 6/24. I contacted the manufacturer who said they were in stock. I told carid they were in stock and the manufacturer was making sure my order didn't get lost. The manufacturer told me they had never dealt with carid. The next day, 4/26, the manufacturer received my order from Meyer distribution. Later that day I received an email from carid saying it wouldn't ship for 2-4 weeks. It arrived on 4/28. Later that day I received an email from carid saying it shipped. Best price, worst drop shipping/service.

I ordered a single part, a single $#*!ing part. The issue with this website is that they have the manufacturer send you it, so if you order more than one part chances are you're going to get double $#*!ed. The shipping is so hanus for the first item, and even worse for the second. WELL NOT THE $#*!IN CASE HERE LADS. IM FEELING A NEED TO TYPE IN CAPITALS BECAUSE THIS $#*!TY $#*! I have never put in a review of any kind before. I think they are kind of meaningless. However, I feel that I must share my experience in order to help others to avoid making the same mistake I did. I ordered a set of Black Rhino armorys on November 29th of 2021. I understood that these rims were back ordered and was given an estimate of about 6 weeks until I got them. The only reason I chose this company was because they gave me the shortest estimate for the rims. Looking back, that was probably my mistake. Nonetheless, I trusted them. Eventually, the estimated delivery date came and went. About a week after, I got a notification that the rims were being shipped, but was given the wrong tracking number. I called and thought everything was sorted out, but then the company canceled my order. I called again and they said they had to redo the order for some obscure reason. I got a new order number and thought everything was ok until they told me the delivery date would be pushed back another month. WTF happened to the rims that had been "shipped out." I eventually called and decided it was time to cancel the order. I am hoping I get my money back, but we will see. They were shady about the entire process, making my life very difficult and overall buying process a nightmare. I am a 17 year old kid who had saved up a bunch of money in hopes of buying new rims for my truck. If I had turned to some other, more reputable brand, then my rims might be here by now. Since I chose the shadiest company out there, now my dad is mad at me and I still can not drive my truck. Trust me, save your money and time! Pick a brand that will not just straight up lie to your face.

Bought two sets of ventshades from Carid. For my 2017 Ford truck! The first set was damaged when shipped. The other set three of the four ventshades fell off after four days. Luckily the one that was still attached didn't damage my vehicle. When I removed it because it was senseless to leave on without the other three.
I never in my life had this much trouble returning faulty merchandise. You have to take pictures! Give them your vin number of you vehicle. Give them a statement of what's wrong with the product. Hoop after hoop! Email after email! Just to get a return label to ship them back. It's ridiculous! Most companies send you a return label with your merchandise. I have spent hundreds if not thousands with this company. But no more! Too much hassle to return faulty or damaged merchandise. Then on top of it you talk to a person who barely speak English!
Basically, Carid is a third party company who takes your order then orders directly from the actual manufacturer. Who sends it to you! It would be better to order from the source directly. Instead of the middle man! Two weeks have passed since these ventshades fell off my truck! How long will it take to email me a return label to send these junky things back. Or credit my charge card!
I bought new ventshades from Ford. Took the ventshades that fell off with me. The Ford technician told me EGR uses the wrong 3m tape! They would have all fallen off. I was luck it happened when I was washing my truck. Not driving on the highway and couldn't retrieve them to return them. Imagine that dilemma! Trying to return an empty box.
Be smart buy from a reputable direct party company. Not the middle man!

IT's the worst website to order off the market accessories. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VULTURES! I have very unpleasant experience with them and I am not ordering any parts from them anymore. BEWARE of HASSLE FREE RETURNS coz it's not true. They will always email you back and forth for same old redundancy email and end up you'll not be able to refund your shipping and handling cost eventhough the fault is in their end. You'll end up paying the return shipping AS WELL for the product which DOES NOT fit in your vehicle despite the fact it's clearly before at check out that shld be compatible in your car. In later part when you received the product it doesn't fit and they want you to ripped something off just to make the product fit for their satisfaction! As far my understanding was, when you ordered a product on certain website we make sure that it's compatible and it fits and doesnt need any altercation bcoz most of us purchasing it are amateurs in installing it. Any products fits signify mismatch and you can't just say to you customer to rip a hole to make the bolt fit it... What kind of customer service is that? Don't tell me that it's factory defect. It's massive production and each every corner of the said parts are standardized and none of it was different from the other so don't make it a reason because of production defect it doesn't fit. A few months ago I purchased some new Cray wheels and nitto tires for my Corvette. Once I got the wheels onto the car and started driving it I noticed that one of my wheels kept losing pressure slowly while i was driving it. I ended up taking it into a goodyear store had them try to find/ fix the leak which they couldnt find either. When I called Carid.com to let them know that there was an issue they would not just take my word or the written word of the Goodyear shop for it. After about 3 weeks of going back and forth with them on the phone and email to try and get this issue resolved, which even included me sending a video spraying the tire with soapy water, they tried to tell me that because they couldn't see a leak there was nothing they could do. This prompted me to get a little loud with them. Which led to them agreeing to take the tire and wheel back. I didn't spend close to 3700 dollars to have defective merchandise. However, here is where it gets so much worse. After about a month of them having the wheel in their possession and countless unreturned phone calls and emails, they sent me an email saying that they couldn't find the leak and we're going to send it back to me at My Expense! This prompted me to get VERY LOUD with them explaining that I am NOT doing this for fun, there is a legitimate problem and it needs to be fixed. This is when the sales rep, George Daskalothanasis, got a random and mysterious email from his warehouse stating that they were going to replace the wheel for me. All in all from the time I shipped out the wheel and tire to them, until the time I got it back was close to 2 months of summer driving season gone. The whole ordeal was about 3 months total. I have the new wheel and tire now and everything seems to be holding pressure, but I will never do business with this company ever again. They need some serious help in customer service.
In my original review I explained how CARiD advised me to purchase a strut kit for my wife's Cadillac Escalade. The kit was terrible and did not work. After talking to the manufacturer, Arnott, they agreed to let me return the kit, get my money back and purchase a kit that would fit my wife's truck. Unfortunately, the labor to install the wrong first kit was $700. I asked CARiD to refund my $700 since they sold me a kit that would not work, resulting in the labor cost. All they would do is offer me a $150 credit. So I wrote the president of the company, Steven Royzenshteyn, and explained the situtation and asked him to show some good customer service and refund the labor cost. Three days after I mailed my letter to CARiD, I got a response. They called and offered me $124 back on my credit card, or the original $150 in online credit. REALLY! Your advisor sells me the completely wrong product, causes me $771 in labor costs, and you think I'd accecpt $124 back in return? What a joke! Do not use this company for your auto parts. There are many others out there who offer much better advice and will stand behind their advice. Even the president of the company could care less about his customers.
Bottom line is you trust companies to know what they are advising and what they are selling. You trust them and send them your hard earned $$. But when they screw up and send you something that really doesn't work, and it costs you an extra $771 in labor costs, you'd think they'd do a tad more to try to fix it than offer you $126 back. I've seen my fair share of good and poor customer service and this is one of the worst I've dealt with. It's been an awful experience for me and I'll take my business elsewhere.
