We booked a car hire with this company in January 2023 for hire late June for a week paid deposit of £30 for the hire this was included car insurance and was to pay the remaining money when I picked the car up, in late February we got a call saying our outgoing flight was delayed by 3 hrs I emailed CarFlex and got a reply from the saying they had notified Flexrent the car hire company in Poland (apparently not a sitter company LOL) when I arrived at the airport I was told my car is no longer available because they was not informed of the later arrival of the airline, for those of you that don't know Rzeszow airport it's very small only having one aircraft at a time so there was no way they could not have known, they told me I need to make a new reservation keeping the price the same just a different car I was happy with this but the I had to pay for insurance at 350 pln I showed them my email and they just ignored it telling me I was late and the car I hired is no longer available, we was a party off 4 2 adults and 2 very young children, we have been travelling since 8am that morning so the kids was not in the best mood, I have emailed Carflexi several time with no response, if I get a response I will amend this review I will be posting this on every holiday car hire site I find I would not recommend using either CarFlex or Flexrent ( not sitter companies LOL)
Liars. Requested: autumatic Siat Alhambra 7 seats. Got: manual Pego 9 seats. Did not check that the rent car has such car.

For a family trip to Mauritius, I rented a car on the Carflexi website (Kia Rio or similar Compact-Automatic provided by Royal car rental) and paid a deposit in advance. I also saw the confirmation message on the payment screen and took a screenshot to save it. But Carflexi switched to another company's car(Toyota Vitz provided by Mauriconnect) without inquiring me, which was much smaller and cheaper than the car I rented. The boot of this car was so small that it couldn't fit two large suitcases, so that I had to put the back seats down to fit the suitcases in, and the luggage took up so much space in the back that it didn't fit the child seat I had originally booked, and I had to sit next to the suitcases with the baby in my arms.Carflexi claimed that the two cars were the same type of car, but the one I had booked was a lot bigger than the one that was actually provided to me, and the rental fee was much higher. It was only after I showed a screenshot of my order that Carflexi admitted that the car I had originally booked was no longer available and that they had passed the order on to another company. But after causing me so much inconvenience, Carflexi not only did not offer any compensation package, but also refused to refund the difference in prepayment between the two models and the rental fee for the child seat that I didn't even use(about 106 USD in total). It was a scam to lure me into placing an order with a higher level vehicle rental from a more reputable company, get me to pay more upfront, and then offer me a smaller, cheaper vehicle from another company that wouldn't fit the two suitcases and child seat at all.Carflexi was very arrogant, and just refused to give me a refund after I showed them proof that they should have done so, They weaseled their way out of it by saying that the price of the car rental changes in real time, but there is a significant difference in the rental rates for the two car models, not just on Carflexi but on any of the car hire websites. The customer service guy also said that they would no longer respond to my emails. Such behaviour is disgusting.

"Please note that due to high demand, your reservation was rejected by the first car rental provider, so we forwarded it to another supplier who managed to confirm it. This way, your reservation was not cancelled."
In regards to the vehicle category, we have checked and the vehicle provided was under the booked specifications.

A story about how bad service would look like...
I rented two 9 seater cars. When I arrived to pick them up they told me I can not because they are both on the same name and only CarFlexy representative can change the name. I tried to call them many times to change the name but there was no answer and the Sicily representative didnt want to help. I wasted a lot of time at the rental service center and got only one car and had to rent another one from a different agancy! Plus_ the car I got was poorly maintained: broken ventilation tunnels_ inoperative reverse camera_ inoperative bluetooth connection and a dirty car! I am very disapointed of the service I recieved!
But this was not the end of it... I was charged for the deposite for the car I did not take, and when I e-mailed CarFlexy- they told me this is their policy. I was expecting a full refund for the car I didnt pick up and maybe some explainations regarding the poor car condition and the bad service... but since that one reaction- nobody got back to me for weeks until now although I wrote several additional e-mails. Over the phone it is impossible to reach them...
Bottom line: if everything goes as planned- the cheap prise is nice... but when you need service... well, don't even try.

They sold us a Mini Van and thats what we needed for the size of our family.
But when we cane to pick up the car sub company they worked with offered us a sedan car which was not going to accommodate us. We couldn't possibly fit in. I called CarFlexi CS and agent told me to deal with the front desk person to get a cancellation paper but the person refused to give the paper to us. Had to wait hrs at the airport trying to resolve conflict before we end up paying more we had to get another car rental company.
Then I write an email complaining about the situation to CarFlexi. Ask the deposit they charged us to be returned for a service we didn't receive.
Guess what happened... They said they contact with their sub rental company which is GreenMotion. And they said we no show. When I said I have pictures and front desk persons name to them they get back and said we were late to pick up the car which was also a lie.
As a result they refused to return our booking deposit even though we get no service from them.
I came back and complain my bank about charges since this was not a fair charge. What a decent company should be doing is to apologize for the incident and inconvenience return charges.
Guess what they did... fought tooth and nail to keep the charges.
AND BEWARE THEY HAVE TERMS ON THEIR GENERAL TERMS OF USE THAT WILL PROTECT THEM IF CONFLICT HAPPENS WITH CAR RENTAL COMPANIES THEY USE LIKE IN OUR SITUATION.
I am still dealing with them as of now and NEVER EVER will choose either CARFLEXI or their sub/vendor in this situation GREENMOTION ever ever again. The emotional damage is going way beyond the financial. Last thing you like to do on a vacation is dealing with a company has no ethics

On booking a hire through Carflexi i was impressed bytheir website which looked very professional and promised no hidden costs. They offered an excess Insurance policy at very reasonable cost as an additional extra to the Car hire, I took this option. On arrival at Faro Airport I contacted the car hire co. Autoclick as arranged and followed there instruction walked to our pick up point we were picked up 40 mins later and taken to their nearby offices. We were shown our hire car and told to inspect it for any damages. It was after 1.30 am and the area where the cars were parked was in complete darkness we pointed out to the staff that we could not properly inspect the the car in such insufficient light but they assured us that the car was free of any damages and indeed the car we received was relatively new and appeared in good condition. Hoowevr when we returned the car 5 days later Auto click pointed out a minor scuff mark to one of the tyres and rim we informed them that we had not caused this damage but they refused to allow us to leave their premises until we signed the credit card release for payment. They informed us that the cost would be 200 I immeidiately contacted Carflexi to complain but their operative was extremely rude and basically feigned loss of signal and Hung up. When Ireturned Home I found that 312 had been taken from my credit card and I contacted Carflexi by phone they told me that as i was covered by their Excess protection insurance I shoul claim a refund under terms of the policy. Several days later following emails and phone conversation Carflexi pointed out that tyres and rim damage were not covered by their insurance in fact they gave me such a long list of exemptions that i wonder what this insurance did cover. Both Carflexi and Autoclick have still failed to supply with the breakdown of the charges which they levied against me. The bottom line is that I have been treated with utter contempt and conned out of my Hard earned money by these two Companies.My Strong advise to anyone thinking of hiring a car KEEP AWAY from these Fraudsters
