I booked a rental through them with Enterprise at Heathrow, and it was a nightmare. Incorrect pick-up instructions left my family stranded in the cold after a long flight. At Enterprise office, the staff refused to accept my payment, strangely claiming I didn't pass their internal checks—even though I provided a valid credit card, as required. Despite explaining this to CarFlexi, they dismissed my complaint and wrongly insisted I used a debit card, refusing to issue a refund. Their unwillingness to resolve the issue and reliance on false technicalities is appalling. Avoid at all costs.
This has been the worst experience ever in renting a car.no car available at pick up point.no assistance whatsoever. The desk attendance was absolutely rude and unhelpful. I have never seen this in my whole life after 30 years of travels around the world.
I had a terrible experience with Carflexi.com. After making a reservation and landing in Warsaw with a small child, it turned out that no one was waiting for us with the car, and the phone number provided was for a completely different company located 300km away in Gdansk. The guy on the other side couldn't find any information about my reservation or even my name. We had to rent a car from one of the available rental companies at the airport. Carflexi refused to refund the deposit, claiming that the car was there and waiting for us. As far as I'm concerned, this company is a scam.
AVOID CarFlexi - They have Terrible Service, they cheat and Rob you in day light.
I booked a car with them for Dubai Airport, they provided a booking Number from a local Car Rental and their number. Once i reached Airport NO ONE was there.I called the Local number and after 40 min and more than 5 attempts of calling i gave them them the BOOKING #, they replied that they do NOT Have any booking from CarFelxi for me, and they don't have any cars available now.
The Biggest problem is when I tried to Contact CarFlexi via email (they avoid showing any Number to call on all their sites) ---- They replied by saying Why did you not call us? (I told them i did not have any number for you - what is your number?)
No reply... I asked them to REFUND the Deposit amount they took
Their answer was " Its not our Fault "... and they refused to refund the DEPOSIT they took from me...Imagin the Day Robbery
On the front page they show a price but when you book the reservation they chage you twice the price… customer service dosen't help. So be sure to book direct to your car rental. Easy to be confuse when they charge you the price show on the page then you have to pay same amount at the car rental. I paid twice the price of my co-traveler friend for the same time/day booking. STRONGLY RECOMANDE TO AVOID THIS BROKER.
I hired a car from 'ok mobility' in Croatia via Carflexi online for €416, what I thought was a very good rate for two weeks. When I collected the car I was given two choices: pay €2100 credit card damage deposit fee or a one-off payment €379 'OK Super Premium Cover' car insurance. I didn't quite have enough on my credit card so had no choice but to pay the insurance. Two people in the queue in front were also caught out this way. This was NOT advertised up front when I booked the car. Carflexi- cheap at twice the price!
I paid for additional services such as pick the car at night and additional insurance. When I arrived at night office was locked. Company said they can't help me and give any services at night. Next day company didn't give a car according my booking, just suggested the car 5 times expensive. When I texted to carflexi support fhey answered in very rude form and said they closed this case :) Very bad experience with carflexi.
I have recently booked a car rental using them and chose their all risk covered insurance. Upon arrival at the rental location, GoldCar Toulouse airport I was informed by the staff at the rental company that it would be up to me to pay all costs upfront to them, then claim back from Carflexi. Imagine having the car stolen and having to pay for the value of the car upfront and then claiming that money back? No one in their right mind would ever do so. A detail Carflexi certainly does not clearly share. I cancelled the contract using their insurance and signed a new rental contract using the car rental company's all risk insurance. Now I am in my 4th week trying to get my money back from Carflexi and getting nowhere.
The company in El Calafate gave me a dirty truck, in the bed of the truck I transported my suitcases all on the pavement and when I picked them up they were all full of dirt. In other words, they didn't wash it. In addition to having the engine light on so they can check it and the man told me not to worry because nothing was happening, the best part is, when the right headlight doesn't come on and I send it to him via WhatsApp and he tells me to come in for a lubricentro and have it changed, you pay for it and don't forget to bring the ticket so they can reimburse you. He never asked me where it was, if there was somewhere nearby for him to change it, etc. as if I, in addition to paying more than 100 USD per day, were their employee. No one and no way to contact CarFlexi at all.

Voucher No. CFF7AEF6 I made a reservation on the Carflexi website in mid-December 2023 and arrived at the car rental place. At the scene, they admitted that they did not have the reservation in their system and tried to request an explanation and refund from Carflexi. Unfortunately, there is no contact telephone number or email address on the Carflexi website; I filled out the contact form 3 times without having a resolution to this day.
I booked a 7-seater car with automatic transmission nine months in advance through CarFlexi.com, hoping for a smooth and reliable experience. Unfortunately, that was far from what I received.
Upon arrival at the airport, the local rental company informed me that the 7-seater I had booked was unavailable. Instead, they offered me a 5-seater with manual transmission without enough room for our luggage. This was not only inconvenient, as we needed a larger vehicle, but it also didn't align with what I had reserved and paid for.
When I contacted CarFlexi.com's customer service, they were completely unhelpful. The representative on the phone didn't seem interested in resolving the issue and stated that the only way to get a refund was to book a new car through their website, and then cancel it. But I had to hurry, unless I would get nothing.
At the rental desk, at TopCar Tenerife, I was essentially forced to accept the smaller car in a lower class with manual transmission, with no flexibility or adjustments to the price.
CarFlexi.com's response to my complaint was dismissive, stating that there's no guarantee you will get the car you reserve. To me, this makes their service unreliable and not worth the risk.
If you are considering using CarFlexi.com, be warned: there's a good chance you won't get the car you booked, and the customer service is far from helpful. I will never use CarFlexi.com again and strongly advise others to avoid them as well.
Company has hide cost of renting, showing one price and on day of renting you are ending up paying much more, customer service is very rude, not helpful on the phone, after writing email 2 week no response from them

I received confirmation and an E-voucher, but there was no record of our car rental on the Europcar system when we arrived at our destination. Our only option was to rent another much more expensive car, as the class of car that we booked was "sold out".
I informed CarFlexi of the incident and asked for a refund. They have not responded at all. I've sent three email requests this week, and have had no response at all.
From now on I will only book directly with the car rental companies. Something like this can spoil your entire holiday. We were lucky that there was another car available(even though more expensive). If there was not, we would have been completely stuck.
Cancellation option had been included during reservation. No rental took place, and they refused to refund money, saying that I didn't call them straight away-what I did, but nobody picked up the call at 2 am in the night! They just charge me without provide any service for rental, even with additional cancellation fee - no refund done.

The car rental company that we chose on CarFlexi did not have a car available, and they prolonged our stay there for an hour saying that my credit card doesn't work. My bank confirmed that there are no restrictions and that the seller was using the wrong authentication method on the POS (so the payment would fail). The car rental company refunded me immediately (as they didn't have any cars really), but CarFlexi is refusing to refund me for the deposit they took online. It has been 3 weeks and they're still "looking" into it.
Of course it took them 2 weeks to reply to my contact message, however they replied immediately when I opened up a case with PayPal. More than one month later, still they have not refunded it.

Waiver…
Do not take out a damage excess waiver with this company. They have written a clause into the policy, excluding all of the most common damage to a car - e.g. mirrors, windscreens, tyres. This is written in the fine print, in the middle of a long paragraph making obvious exclusions such as drunk driving, breaking laws and driving off road. This appears to be a deliberate, and in this case successful, attempt to hide this aspect of the policy, which will ensure that they will not need to pay the majority of claims. If I had known this, I would have arranged cover with a separate insurer, or arranged car hire through another company. Avoid.

The most common exclusions from CDW are the wheels, tires mirrors and underside of the vehicle.
To cover these parts additional coverage is offered. Even the car rental companies offer a separate package for these parts.

They claim that as long as optional extras like additional driver and child seat etc. are chosen during the booking, they are included in the final price payable at the car rental place. This is not true!
The rental location will add them IN ADDITION to the price quoted which supposedly already includes them.
Even when the receipt says they are included they just don't care.
I have been fighting this issue with them for two weeks and they absolutely refuse to honor their own website info and promises.

Easy to navigate site, good selection of vehicles at surprisingly good prices. No hassles picking the vehicle up and enjoyed not having to be hassled by aggressive car rental sales people given the insurance was all included in the price. Would definitely use again!
Competitively priced for North America, but a well hidden opt-out tick box on their web page leads to unwanted and overpriced excess insurance being automatically added to your final purchase. Make sure you un-check the box if you don't want it, because cancellation leads to a long wait for a refund (they claim they'll refund with 14-30 days, but it's way past that and I'm still hassling them). Next stop the credit card company.
