I discovered CarFlexi through a "Cape Town Car Hire" search. CarFlexi came up indicating that they do bookings with all major car rental companies which immediately gave them credibility. The rates quoted seemed fair and the process easy. I booked a Europcar vehicle for the period 25 August to 1 September 2021 and submitted all my personal information. However, after paying an amount of R951.61 by credit card to secure the booking, I did not receive a confirmation email as promised by them and also could not reach them on their landline *******523 over a period of 2 days. I had to make another direct booking with Budget to secure a car for today for our travels in Cape Town. CarFlexi took my money without providing the service paid. The matter is being further investigated. I am urging other persons having had the same experiences to also place their comments. Avoid CarFlexi at all cost and deal directly with reputable service providers!

I have had the same experience with Flexicar and Interrent... THE WORST CAR RENTEL EVER AND MOST EXPENSIVE ONE. Then if you try to complain to the two companies they never get back to you. So big warning from me dont ever use Flexicar or Interrent.
I was going to Kyiv in early September and wanted to hire a car for a few days so I could see some of the sights of Ukraine. After reviewing car hire companies I chose carflexi but never, ever again and if you do not want to be conned out of your hard earned cash, please do not ever order a hire car from this so called company. It started off badly when the so called 'Manager' was to meet me at the airport - he was not there and it took me 2hours to find him!. He turned up in this old Skoda, which I swear was am ex Taxi. It had covered 54,000 Kms and there was too many dents, scratched and stone chips that I took 15 pics just to make sure i had the majority of dings. When I returned the car the so called Manager had cheek to say that there was an abundance to new damage and promptly wrote me up for a ticket for the alleged damage amounting to over F3200 in local currency which I paid after much protestation. He just shrugged his shoulders and said You took out full insurance so just claim on it to get your money back'. Then I smelled a rat he knew I had full insurance and this was his way of making a fiddle on the side to get more money out of me. All in all this was a terrible experience I wrote a detailed report to Carflexi demanding my money back They just ignore my emails. So you have warned do not rent from this Company you will be conned!

At the airport the counter was left already We could not get the reservated car. Several communication with carflext without solution. Nevertheless credit card was charged. Beware of this company!
Don't get excited about the low price, they will hide fees and you will have a nice surprise on your card! Stay away!
I booked with them as all hire car companies in Tasmania stated they had no cars! I booked thinking my $203.00 was a deposit and taken off the amount for car hire for the 10 days ***** NO *****.
I was told the company was at Launceston airport ** NO **. It took one hour to find out no they werent at the airport, cueing to enquire at all the hair car companies WHO had signs stating they had cars! I phoned bargain hire co, they sent a bus for us? By this stage there were 3 others all annoyed and in the dark!
One person at the office with 8 people waiting for service about 1 klm away from the airport, the $203 didnt come off the cost of the car. It was a scam, they had a booking only. $203 to book a car!? Bargain hire co, didnt care, offered nothing in the way of an explanation. Must work together I would say. It took me 3 hours to get to Launceston after the dramas! Should have been into Launceston by 9.15! Never again would I use car Flexi or bargain hire people. One person on at th office. INADEQUATE and UNPROFESSIONAL and DODGY all round! Not a good start to beautiful Tassie. BE AWARE NEVER USE EITHER
An extra charge from carflexi appeared on my credit card bill taking the car rental cost over the quoted amount.
From pick up to drop off all went smoothly, car was very new and clean, staff were friendly and efficient
I rented a car via CARFLEXI web site and it destroyed out pleasant trip to Italy for me & my friends.
Upon arrival at the rental company, we were informed that it does not have such cars for which CARFLEXI makes reservations and they have never had such cars.
The staff at the rental was very nice and it was clearly indicated that the fault was CARFLEXI - because they make reservations for vehicles that are not available in this car rental company.
We made several international phone calls to CARFLEXI call center - no one helped us and we became a whole group in a foreign country without a car. We only received good advice over the phone - that we should look for another car rental!
Can you imagine how to find an available car for few days at the peak of the tourist season!?
For CARFLEXI - no any problem, right - it's just a client problem!
After checking several car rental companies we finally found an available car and of course, when you will rent in this situation - you rent on the terms someone else forces you to. In short, having a credit card and money for a deposit we had to buy more than twice as expensive insurance.
When I came back home I contacted CarFlexi. They shake off any responsibility from their side, and did not agree to refund me on the excess amount I paid - instead, I read lies and childish excuses.
IN MY OPINION: if you don't want to be cheated, you better avoid any business with CARFLEXI!

Made a deposit for an automatic in St Marteen. When I got there they didn't have the car that I reserved and try to give me a small manual piece of junk! I asked the guy to refund me my money, but that of course didn't happen otherwise I wouldn't be starting this! - Let the games begin!

As being advised by their rental branch the great majority of their fleet in Saint Martin is automatic vehicles.
In addition to that they do not have smaller manual vehicles than the category booked.
Consequently it is highly unlikely that you had been offered a smaller manual vehicle.
Regrettably the online payment cannot be refunded in this case.

I booked an SUV like RAV4 in Riyadh and they gave me a Kia ceranto. Saying that they don't have a rav4! It caused a big tension with my husband. So for me it was a first and a last time!

I booked a rental car for a Price of ******* leb lira no information about 500$/360 JOD was availble befor the payment was proceeded, it came trough the conformation, than i Cancelled and was asked to pay 6 JOD In cancellation fees, not that the 6 JOD Are alot of Money, But thats a bad Way to collect Money from People when they dont even give the correct information
