I paid a deposit of 29.60 pounds to Car Flexi to pick a car from boycar at Antalya airport.No car and no rep. I had to borrow a mob phone to call the company. A rep appeared 20 mins later and said the car in question was not returned due to covid by the hirer and found that hard to believe.He suggested another company HelloCar. The guy appeared 20 mins later with a similar battered car and charged me 207 euros. Later the next day I found out that the rental for the same no of days should have cost 117 euros.
Please keep away from Car Flexi, boy car and Hello Car in Turkey
They are professional scammers, avoid at any cost.

False advertising! They charge a booking fee and at the end you pay more than renting directly from the car rental company. I tried to reach them 3 times, their email box is maxed out. Never again.

This site is a complete rip off, they quote for the car and then add on their "service" which is almost as much as the car hire! I cannot understand how they are allowed to get away with such a scam.
Arrived on Lemnos at 2200 October 2018 - no car booked and car type I was told was reserved did not exist on the island for hire.

As documented on other reviews, just as you press the button to agree the transaction an unasked fee for INSURANCE is added which you cannot go back to remove or to cancel the transaction!
This is pure and simple deception and theft.
In my case ive been charged £82.93 for a weeks insurance that i did not need as i have an international policy which would have covered me in the event of an accident etc.
Im now trying to have the transaction nullified by John Lewis PLC who my Mastercard is with.
Great service at a great price, I used CarFlexi on my first visit to Malaysia and I didn't hesitate using them again when I was planning a return trip. Highly recommend. Thank you
I was calling them for almost 2 hours, but there was no response. I had a booking with them. Avoid this company. Thy are unprofessional. They have charged me with a deposit!
This is the WORST experience ever in renting a car. I agreed to a contact with CarFlexi because they said that Third Party coverage was included in the price. That was a complete lie. It cost me over $510 US more to rent a car for three weeks than was quoted by CarFlexi. I have been emailing some guy named *? And all I get is B. Shi. This company is a complete FRAUD. I will never use them again and if anyone has any sense they would never use this company for car rental services. I gave them a 1 because there was no zero or minus sign. Please don't get fooled like me.

I received another email today, February 25 2021, and got the same BS. The only difference is it was from another person. They can't get it through their thick sculls the position that I was in when I arrived at the car rental office in Mazatlan. I had no choice but to pay for the car rental or go without a car. They don't understand that if they had looked at how Mexico insurance works, they would have had to charge me a lot more and I would not have used their services. I feel like they used me. Stay away from these crooks. If you ever have an issue with them, you will never get the answer from their Customer Service. The company is crooked from the bottom up. Brains are not a requirement when you get hired there. All that is required is the ability to lie, scam, and BS potential customers. I am sorry I ever found those crooks online.

My experience with car flexi was terrible, I was not able to rent the vehicle, and they refuse to offer any refund.
I think this company is fraudulent.
After payment could not log in to My Booking as Order/Voucher number was not provided. And confirmation email was not received. It really looks like online cheating company

Do NOT take out CarFlexi's THEFT & DAMAGE EXCESS PROTECTION, as the chances are, like me, you will find that it doesn't cover superficial damage to an alloy wheel caused when scraping a high kerb. Thus the 170 euros charged by the car rental company will be met by you and when you submit your claim to reimbursement under the Exess Protection policy you will find that the extra cover you purchased from them expressly to cover such eventualities, is invalid. Oh yes, they will also take nearly a month to reply to your claim.
Total lies in their responses and the time taken to respond is also not good trade parctice. I note that I am not only one to have these issues.

As per a check we did in your case, we would like to inform you that the offer selected with the excess protection selected had the total rate of AUD 751.77.
You paid online AUD 156.05 and the balance that remains to be paid at the rental office was AUD 595.72. This is what you were charged by the local supplier.
Please note that you were not charged for Out of hours fee as per the final invoice of your rental. You have been charged for LOCATION FEE, REGISTRATION FEE and CONTRACT FEE. All those fees were included in our voucher rate and were not charged extra. Please note that Out Of hours and Road taxes are always included in our rates whether applicable.
No refund is possible in this case to be made, as there is no error at the charges made.

Go direct to the car rental company. This place rips you off. You do not get the price promised and you double pay for insurance. A $350.00 rental ended up being $600.00
I was led to believe that the price would be 79 EUR and I ended up paying 109 EUR because of an additional insurance, the price of which was mentioned only after the payment was processed.
It ended up beine a car from Hertz, so I could have reserved from there directly without the additional 40 EUR margin that CarFlexi makes. When I tried to contact them using the link in their e-mail, this is what happened (see screenshot).

I reserved in June 2019 through CarFlexi a car for one day, in Madrid. On the voucher there was only one figure: rental 24EUR, all taxes included. At the rental company - FireFly - I had to pay additional 7EUR local tax and 31EUR for refuelling, although I returned the car with full tank. To my complain to CarFlexi, it took them 2 weeks to answer, without telling me where it was written that I will have to pay 31EUR for a service that was not provided. So, in the end, I paid more than double. That's how they appear to be so cheap...
