Looking back, I regret trusting them, but they're skilled at deception. Everything seemed so real—until it wasn't. The empty promises, the delays, the runaround—it's all part of their scam. They string you along until they have everything they want, leaving you with nothing but frustration. The only way to win is to never play their game. They almost got away with it, but ANGUS LTD helped make sure justice was served.
They claimed my address was not valid. They said I typed it wrong. I took a picture of my online order before sending. Address correct. Their telephone customer service agent was nasty. Normally this would not be a problem but I ordered for Christmas labels on Nov. 1. They notified me Nov. 24. I finally convinced them of correct address. They said it would take until Dec. 20 to receive. I requested expedited service. Denied. I received labels from Amazon in 4 days. No shipping charge.
I chose ONE STAR because it won't allow me to leave ZERO or negative stars. I ordered a personalized "My Daughter, My Joy" figurine on Feb 27th to be sent to my girlfriend's daughter for her birthday. Initially it said that it should be received by Mar 27 (TODAY). NOW it says May 7. I checked the order for accuracy, called customer service (That was a joke, I could barely understand them) who said they couldn't tell me what the hold up is and that there was no one that can tell me what the hold up is, though they DID confirm that the item is in stock. They told me I just have to wait. For $111, including shipping; I find that totally unacceptable. I have ordered from the Bradford Exchange in the past with no issues. Unless this is resolved TODAY (I am on hold AGAIN) I will not be ordering from you again. Also; there seems to be an issue as to the correct number to call for customer service? The number listed when I did a Google search is not the same as the number listed on their FB page and is different from the number listed on their website as well. So, in all, they have 3 different numbers for their so-called customer service.
Ok, this is absolutely insane! Never again will I order from this horrible company. I ordered something 2 weeks ago to be shipped to NY. Somehow you delivered it to an old address of mine in Fl. I definitely put the right address in. It is literally impossible to get anyone on the phone. And when you finally get someone you get disconnected. Then you call back immediately and the answering machine says you are closed. I paid for 2 day shipping and I am no closer to this item being delivered to correct address than I was 2 weeks ago! I am calling the Better Business Bureau next.
I seen a train set that i liked and liked the price at the time and placed an order but when i replaced it and what i expected to get and what i got wasnt what i thought it was it was not i called them twice to find out about my order and then finding out i was going to get the packages in several orders. When i called the third time the guy explained to me that i was a menber of a club. I was getting my train set piece by piece it would take up to 6 month to a year to get the whole set. Soon as i realized i canceled my order and i thought that was it so i only got part of my train set a month later they took money out of my account and sent me part of a train track. They didnt have the authorization by me to take money out of my account so i called them and found ou i was still on there account cause they never canceled whn i callled the last time i called and made sure my accout was closed as far as i concern about these people they are a scam and i wont ever do bisuness with them again
The first picture is what I ordered and the 2nd one is what I got. You can tell the difference. I ordered the Buffalo Bills Wreath. I received the box and wrapped it, without opening it, because it was a gift. The bow ties and the ribbons are different. The size of the helmet and Buffalo Bills next to the bow tie are different sizes. The gloves are a darker color. Even the Bills hat on top of the head is different. The head is higher so everything looks fuller in the advertisement but what I received is like a miniature version. Definitely not as full as the original picture. Not what I ordered but somewhat similar. Very disappointed in how it turned out. Even the football is a different color. I've always been happy with Bradford Exchange products in the past and this is the first time I am disappointed in their products. I had the gift opened early because it was a combined birthday and Christmas gift, and he was starting to decorate for Christmas.
I emailed a complaint to them directly because that's where I was told to email. The reply I received said "Sometimes the items will arrive looking a bit different than the original advertisement. You can certainly return this back for a replacement or refund. Please let me know if you wish for us to send you a prepaid return label."
Obviously it was a gift. I wasn't going to tell the person I gave the gift to I want it back because I wasn't happy with it.
I just won't be ordering from this company anymore. Their quality in items have definitely gone down.
I got a letter in the mail stating that I was chosen for a free coin. I got really excited and I accepted the coin since on my free time I like to find coins to keep and so I went ahead and sent in the paperwork for this "free" coin. After a while of having the coin in my possession, I started to get mail coming in for other coins that stated that you needed to pay for them. I wasn't interested, so therefore I didn't send in for those ones. Shortly after this, I got a letter in the mail stating that if I did not pay for this supposedly free coin that they would send it to collections. In my defense, I honestly thought this was a mistake since the very first letter that I got said that this coin was free. So after a while of ignoring that first invoice, I got another one still threatening to send this bill to collections. So doing what anybody would do I called Bradford exchange and explained to them that I did not appreciate being threatened that something that was supposed to be free is now on almost on its way to collections, because I refuse to pay for something that was stated to be free. The lady that I talked to on the phone said that the coin was free to look at- not to have. I referred back to the very first letter that I got stating that I was chosen for a free coin and nowhere on that piece of paper did it say that it was a free to look at coin. It flat out states that this is a free coin for you to have. There is NOWHERE on the first initital letter stating that if you wanted to keep the coin, you had to pay for it. So honestly, this company is super unprofessional, and a SCAM! Do NOT accept the "free" coin. They will just screw you out of it.
Smary & Unethical business practices. Ordered sale priced checks, Bradford Exchange did a bait and switch billing me for their more expensive checks and charging me for a designer check book. Bradford Exchange also, without my consent or knowledge, enrolled me in an auto pay rewards program. At the moment I am contesting the charges with the bank. I also had the bank issue me a new card and block Bradford Exchange for dipping into my account.
These look like very cheap products. I am so disappointed. Years ago this company was good. I got my bracelet replaced, thinking it was an odd one out. Not so. Even the replacement has a bangle that is a tarnished, dark grey color. A paper clip is more silver toned. The charms are no better. I'm unsubscribing from Bradford Exchange.
Placed order 12/14/23. There was a problem with the shipping $25 rebate. I spent 43 minutes of phone with 3 different customer service agents who were unable to assist, needed manager guidance. Manager would not respond to agent. Last agent was rude, deeming and unhelpful. Still no resolution! Customer service is absolutely disappointing and poor representation from this company. Will not continue future business, not worth the headache.
Purchased what i thought was a collection of 4 peanuts canister storage containers.
They only shipped one and said i had to buy each one individually for the price listed on their website for all 4.
Do not trust the Bradford Exchange!
This is a classic Bait and Switch operation. They lure you in with decent arts and crafts, then quietly keep charging your credit card forever with much more stuff than you ordered. Trying to get them to stop is near impossible. You keep telling then to stop, but they keep right on with the sales pitch.
They finally explain that when you initially order an item, you agree to have 10 or 20 more items coming monthly at a hefty price. Don't trust these clever Scammers... Look elsewhere
In November 2022 I bought a gift item from the Bradford exchange. Unbeknownst to me the Bradford Exchange reward program automatically signs you up to be in their club and charge you $14.95 a month for nothing. I never authorized it I was never explained this I never knew anything about it and then while doing taxes and looking over all my charges I noticed this repetitive fee. They have agreed to reimburse me for 6 months but they still owe me for the remaining 8 months. This is a real scam so be very beware
I ordered my family my heart gold & diamond ring. When I first received it, I was just satisfied because you can barely see the names on it, unless and you put on glasses and a magnifying glass. That's the first deceiving part because the picture of the ring you can clearly see the names very well, secondly, I've only worn the ring twice
Since I've had it and I already notice the gold is fading so how can it possibly be real gold? I refuse to pay $200 for a ring that's not real.
They are very hard to deal with. They sent to the wrong house not once but twice. They sent a extra piece and it's hard to return. We are washing are hands with this place. And we had to pay 25 dollars to send it to the correct house.
Kept telling me I owed them money months after payment through credit card. After sending multiple emails with proof of payment, sending it through USPS with proof, and phone calls and getting nowhere I contacted my states attorney general's office, and they are assisting me with help. OHHHHHH and they say one price online but when you are charged it is more money so check your accounts. NEVER AGAIN I also contacted the FTC and the Consumer Protection Agencies
I went to order checks on line, the first page told me my checks would cost $3.50 per pkg. I ordered 4 pkgs. The bill with shipping and handling and all the order crap they add on should have been in the amount of around $25.00 the most, the bill came up to over 44.00. I called customer service and got the biggest bull crap I've ever heard. That's only for first time orders nowhere does it say that any where. I will never ever deal with them again. Oh yeah and 1 first customer service rep was rude as could be and the 2 nd one hung up on me because she couldn't explain the difference in totals. BAD. BAD RIP OFF.
I purchased the Silver dollar collection starting with issue one and Uncirculated "Ike" Eisenhower silver dollar. What I finally received for a total of $65 per issue is a scratched up 1976 heavily circulated, ungraded by any known companies coin, containing zero silver… They choose to send a non silver coin for a U.S. silver collection? The pictures and description says 90% silver. The value difference is HUGE! The coin I purchased should be worth $30-$40', however the coin sent is worth about $3. They are not getting paid as they have yet to fulfil my order. When they send the right item they can have their payment. Don't trust this bait and switch joke of a company who charges hundreds for garage sale rejects. Do yourself a favor and just go to a good ole flea market, same stuff drastically cheaper at flea markets.
Scam! Take your money but never send the order while telling you they are "back ordered for materials" for 3 months now. Avoid like the plague! Horrible company with terrible customer service. Truly a disgrace to online sellers
Cheap, made in China. Not a quality item. It does work so far. 3 or 4 lights only. Just not what I thought I would receive. Should have known when it took 8 weeks to receive it. Also had 2 broken parts. Thank goodness for super glue. I tried to take the same angle picture. But that house is nowhere to be found.
Answer: When a company this size, keeps your money and lies countless times, hours spent waiting and talking to employees and supervisors and report you for not paying when they have your money isn't a company I would recommend to anyone.
Answer: Hi Tina. Sorry for your crappy experience with The Bradford Exchange - I know the feeling. I would dispute the payment, but make sure you take pictures and be very descriptive of why the item was not as advertised. The Bradford Exchange is certainly NOT what they once were; their products used to be a much better quality than they are now.
