Absolutely horrible customer service, got hung up on 3 times all because their "Christmas guarantee" does not cover personalized items even though nowhere on their website does it state that a personalized item takes 3 to 4 weeks longer. The manager/supervisor i spoke to was very rude and I will never spend another penny at the Bradford exchange
I called 5 days ago to have a charge reversed and placed on a different card, which they said they did that day for me. Today I found out they never did anything, even after taking my CC info. It was as if I didn't call at all. I cancelled all future orders and won't be using this worthless company again.
I have spent the entire day trying to reach out to Bradford by phone to solve an issue that is neither of us at fault. I never get past the robot who puts me on Call Back but no one calls. I know what to do next. I am sorry they care so little.
On November 12,2019 I ordered a Loving Wishes Jar as a Christmas present for my daughter. It arrived on December 4,2019 but was the wrong color so that same day I took it to the post office and returned it requesting an exchange for the correct color. I haven't received any receipt confirmation or any communication from their customer service except that it has not been processed by their returns department yet...? Just terrible service and obviously too late for Christmas. They need help.
I ordered an cat ornament that was ok but not as big or nice as the picture. They use illustrations only in Canada so every thing looks so beautiful. I compared real pictures of bracelets I wanted to buy on Ebay and they were terrible. They also bombard you with advertising pictures of their stuff online.
Ordered an expensive real-life doll last October. Tried to cancel the order the following morning only to be told it was too late. Took them 3 months & 4 requests fir them to send me a Return Address Label. I then received a letter confirming receipt of the return item but they claimed they couldnt find information re: the order. I STILL have not gotten the refund. Ridiculous!
Deceptive advertising. Beware, if you buy anything that says collection, you will be charged every two weeks. They will offer you a discount but charge for a rewards membership later. Now I have to call my CC company to get anew card because they keep charging different items.
Overpriced and dishonest. They just want to take your money. I've never dealt with a company that works like this before. It's not the workers who are the problem, it's the actual tactics of the company. Horrible
Terrible Company, customer service and money fraud. Due to their ignorance and inability to properly receive and fulfill orders my orders and money are now both missing. Unfortunately no one within the company can give me any information on where either are. They give you the run around and you never speak to the same person twice. Upon my request of the information as to how I get in touch with Richard Thomas who is the director of this company no one seems to know how to or who this person even is. I bought checks and the advertised price is not what you get. Ordered basic $2.99 box of checks that they charged over $40 when it was all said and done. What a joke! Online form would not fill so needed customer service to complete the form, they charged me for that as well. This company should be reported for this bait and switch activity and deceitful advertising. If I know where to report this, I would. I bargained down to $25 for 1 box of basic checks that was advertised as $2.99. This company is outrageous. Save your money and frustration, so somewhere else.
If I could rate a 0 star I would. Absolutely terrible customer service. Took my money but never received my item and no contact as to why. I just received a bill in the mail when the item was paid in full at purchase. Then had to fight to get my money back which will take 28 days. Now I have to figure out another Christmas gift for the person I ordered for. Will not be purchasing anything from them again.
As you can see from the picture they send cheap items. I it is not worth the money when i should of went to Kay's and was completely satisfied the first time. The shape isn't even the same. Please do not buy the one you love a gift from this cheap company.
I was so excited to get my wedding ring set that we got from thier and it can late and was nothing like the picture and it's supposed to be real diamond... yeah right almost 400.00 down the drain and won't give us a refund even came with one of the take diamond missing
When ordering from their mailings, quite often the price ends up being substantially more than indicated in the ad! They indicate "3 payments of $19.99" for a product, and when you get it, it's only the first of several shipments at that price! Very deceiving, and some of the products are not worth the price! I have been a customer for many years, and don't remember this happening in the past. Hey, Bradford! What's happening here? Are you lowering your quality and integrity that much?
I was interested in a train set (Horror Express) It appears to come with an engine and 4 cars for three payments of $26.66... After reading the reviews of this company i realise each car is three payments of 26.66. What? Over $400.00 for a ho toy train set! It could be more depending how many cars you want to buy at $100 dollars each with shipping etc. Advertising Scam! They should put the full price of the set as pictured and explain in detail how the payment plan is a rip off...
Ordered 2 very nice snowman snow globes in October 2021(over $300), estimated delivery begging of November, then changed to Nov30-Dec 6. Now it's December 5th, they have changed delivery to January 19,2022, which doesn't work for Xmas what so ever.
Also tried to order these same snow globes for Xmas 2020 and had to cancel that order. Unless you order a year in advance, this company will not get you what you need!
They signed me up for a collectors edition unknowingly, when I ordered an item from their site. They continued to charge my card, and send items after I spent 2 hours on hold, just to tell them to stop. I had to cancel my card. They still harassed me about payments and even turned my account into a debt collection agency because I refused to pay for items I did not want. Still I was spammed with magazines trying to get me to buy more. I finally had to send a check marked "final payment" with other choice words so hopefully they get the hint. Totally not worth all the hassle for one Christmas gift.
I bought my mother a ring and all the stones have fallen out. I emailed them after two fell out they never responded then sent a couple more emails about it and still no response and this has been since April 2021. Don't order from them.
I bought a ring back in 2020 for $200, for some reason the ring stone came off / Broke in 2021. I called to ask if I can return my ring to fix, I can pay for it and their response sorry no we are not accepting items to be fixed at this time. Wow it's easy to accept money but it's hard to say yes to fix. This company is 0 rating. I will never buy from this company ever. Don't waste your money with their tempting advertisements.
I'm honestly surprised by all of the complaints. I read the negative reviews before ordering and almost decided not to order from the Bradford Exchange, but decided to take the risk for an item I really wanted. I placed an order at the end of October, and I received it approximately three weeks later, two months before it was even scheduled to ship. It looks amazing and was packaged with care. There are one or two tiny paint chips at the top of the item, but other than that, it arrived in excellent condition for something that's so fragile.
Answer: When a company this size, keeps your money and lies countless times, hours spent waiting and talking to employees and supervisors and report you for not paying when they have your money isn't a company I would recommend to anyone.
Answer: Hi Tina. Sorry for your crappy experience with The Bradford Exchange - I know the feeling. I would dispute the payment, but make sure you take pictures and be very descriptive of why the item was not as advertised. The Bradford Exchange is certainly NOT what they once were; their products used to be a much better quality than they are now.
