Not owned by monopoly

I love boxed for the convenience and ease of ordering and knowing my order will come quickly. But I also appreciate how boxed is not owned by Amazon or Wal-Mart. This is important as I think we need competition to keep market rates affordable.

No Longer Recommend

I've been a customer since COVID. Initially prices were comparable and in some cases better than others. Shipping was very quick. I noticed prices creeping up in the last year. Their prices were higher than Amazon on most items and we all know Amazon even runs higher than local at times. I decided to place an order when they had a great sale. My orders have always arrived in less than a week, often in 3-4 days. ALWAYS! Well, 8 days in and no update on the order. Website only states "processed" as it had within hours of placing the order. Sent an email to Customer Service and expressed concern. Asked for a cancellation due to delays and lack of update. No response. Sent another email 2 days later. Stating I would be seeking resolution through PayPal since they had not responded. Still no response. 6 hours later I only received an email that my order was shipped. Fully ignored my request to cancel. I still never received a response from their Customer Service. I will never use the company again and strongly advise others to stay away.

Still waiting

I placed my order a week ago, still no box. I tried to call but the number said they don't accept phone calls. I wrote them an email asking about my order, Jasmine replied... be patient. I will never order from Boxed again. I am renewing my Sams membership, much better prices and customer service.

I love these guys - I always feel like I got the better end of the deal. I shop with my Amex, which gets free shipping - and they like to send me promos for $5, $10, $20 off. My last order included a box of samples, which in itself may have been valued at about $15...

I've put in about 10 orders on Boxed.com over the past two years. I've noticed that the items that are on sale have a very short amount of time (2-3 months) until the sell by date is reached. That's not a really good deal when you're buying in bulk and have to throw away half of what you purchased. When you visit a real store, you can pick up the item and see the sell by date for yourself. I recommend sticking with Costco or Sam's Club when buying in bulk for this reason.

Boxed is great and convenient

I started using boxed.com not too long ago and would recommend them. There are a lot of products to chose from and you even get reward dollars and free trial products with your orders. Convenient and quick service.

They honestly had good deals and even if some things were pricey for me its definitely worth it for me not to try and manage my bulky items at the store. They do an amazing job at packing the items with care which to me saves them on returns and damage products. Smart. As with all vendors, you are not going to be able to please everyone. But for now I am happy with my BOX and will definitely order again!

Great Service

Boxed shoppers are always friendly and courteous. I appreciate getting notification when they are on their way. Most importantly, customer service is responsive to your issues, if you have any. Boxed is my favorite grocery delivery service.

I tried boxed. While you can't assume they have the best prices on everything, I did find some good deals. The box came and it was fun to open with lots of extras including promo codes for my next order. I was pretty happy with my first box. It was not until I tried to place a second order that the fun stopped. The promo codes didn't work and their customer service is little more than cut and pasted form emails. I received the exact same response three times before I gave up. It was like talking to a wall. I have not ordered again since. If their customer service staff were as good as the packaging staff, they'd have a real winner of a site.

Cannot recommend

First disappointment was the Kleenex which was not up to Kleenex standards and also had no number contained on the box - it ran out of tissues much more rapidly than the usual. I had ordered ahead of need, so received the Seventh Generation dishwasher powder for future use. It arrived enclosed in a sealed plastic bag. Opened it now to use and found lower half of box soaked with probably water. There was no water leak where it was stored. Trying to dry it out.
Will not use them again.

Once you take a look on boxed.com, you'll see that it's definitely not "bulk" items, and the pricing SUCKS. I could go to Walmart and get these items for cheaper. The supposed "bulk" claim is pathetic. It's really just another sham.

I do a lot of online shopping and I came across Boxed.com. The prices seemed great so I took a shot. My order came in this really big box and 2 items were missing. I tried contacting customer service and there was no number on the site. I searched the internet, found the number only for it to be an answering service.

First and last time, I will never order from them again!

Ordered 4 days ago and contacted them for explanation... first excuse? Weather! But they use fedex and my CHEWY order placed same day arrived next day... second excuse? O they dont work weekends!
They asked if i wanted to cancel since they didnt even start boxing order yet!

"My First Year With Boxed"
March 7, 2018

I relocated to a new state and I needed your services very badly. But, we have a large food chain across the street from where I live. My orders were received within 1-3 days, all items were fresh, packed very well, and your prices are within my budget. I had very little problems with my orders within the first year.

My younger sister lives in the same complex as I do. She had a stroke and need your services sometimes too.

Convienent home shopping

I love ordering from Boxed. I can get bulk items as reduced prices without having to wait in long lines. Its great having this service delivery right to my door fresh products along with pantry items.

Fast delivery!

I always stock up on my household needs once a year and forget about. I found a deal on Boxed.com for garbage bags so I ordered them. They came 3 days later, perfect packaging, GREAT product! I will be doing more shopping with them!

Ever time I order my order is delivered extremely quick. The products are always well packaged and great quality too. The prices are very reasonable. I love getting all the samples as well. I pick two usually but I usually get a note and more samples which shows me that care was put into the package and not just thrown in a box like huge companies do.

Not accepting returns

I was disappointed with a product (throw blanket) it was half the size shown in the picture and wanted to return it but Boxed does not accept returns on any items.

Amazing

Very good products with affordable prices. The only thing I dont like it FedEx Ground. I have contacted FedEx ground multiple times since their delivery driver in my area marks things as delivered when its not delivered it gets delivered 2-4 hours later.

I have an issue with any company that will not allow you to review their site/product until you give them your name and email address. UM, NO! And looking further, this is an Asian based company... with all of the information stealing from China, makes me very cautious that I cannot see prices without my information. And the founders are all Asian based names. I would hope they are American born citizens but with our current economy and stealing of information, any site that will not let us in to review their product with our our email and name... shady!
