I've purchased two items from them Like a month Ago. I spent quite the penny on this site. I received a confirmation number, but that was is. Tried to reach them and haven't been able to get a response. So I'm going to dispute this.
I placed an order with Justice Clothing store, Borderfree took my money ASAP & I still haven't received an email regarding my purchase. I contacted Justice, explained what happened & they said there is no record of my order!
I ordered shoes from Sam Edelman for $88.20 Cdn dollars - Borderfree charged me $195.82 for 'shipping and handling' which was a complete rip off. I tracked the parcel through Canada Post and they dharged a total of $27.00 for shipping, handling and duties which means Borderfree charged me in excess of $80.00 for nothing. When I spoke to Sam Edelman they said they did not charge me anything above the $88.20. When I (finally) reached "june" at Borderfree in Dublin, Ireland she could not explain and put me on to the company's supervisor and resident weasel "Keith Walsh" who guess what, put me on hold, phoned Sam Edelman customer and patched me through - BACK to where I started. The are the biggest scam company in the world hiding behind Ireland (try getting your money back from there) and just hang up when they are asked direct questions. Will NEVER use or purchase from any company that does business with them. They should be investigated thoroughly In the meantime DO NOT USE anyone who ships through this company. As an aside why can't we give negative stars in a review.
Do not order from someone who ships via Borderfree! I paid extra for "expedited shipping". Apparently that means wait 3-5 days for it to actually ship and get a tracking number. And then another 4 days (at best) to ship the item to me. Completely unacceptable! I am shocked that Nordstrom uses such a horrible shipping company
Ordered from VICI to Canada and they charged an extra $100 over top my $230 order. No explanation up front when I signed in. Will also let vendor know how unhappy I am with this rip off scam. Who polices these things- no one. Ridiculous way of doing business, it is criminal if you ask me. You should be aware of any cost being charge to your account- will NEVER use them again.

Bad experience
I ordered Bebe.com dress and unfortunately the dress was too small for me and I had to return it. The price was around 120$ with taxes and shipping fees. ( I am European customer). When I contacted Borderfree.com their customer service told me to ship the dress via DHL but I will pay for the return shipping (around 100$) so I decide to send it back in my arrangement.
To cut the long story short, the dress is at Borderfree and I will receive the refund of less then 20$. Why? I don't know. There is no explanation. Where is the money gone? I also don't know but I know I will never buy from U.S. store that uses Borderfree ever again!
Worst customer service I've ever experienced and theft.
They lost my order, promised me a refund, yet 1 month, and many many emails later, I'm still having to fight to get my refund of over £300.
They ignore almost every email and the ones they actually reply to, are the most unhelpful. Either sending a formatted response to which doesn't answer anything I've said or just resend the previous email.
Would stay well clear.

I order a lot from US to Germany and was never charged so highly for customs/tax, they overcharged me around 45 Euros with their fantasy estimate that was added on automatically at L. L. Bean check out... this should optional if you care to use Borderfree. I can't believe that a reputable company like Bean is using this system. Plus NOT updated

The trio of llbean.ca, borderfree.com, and intelcom is horrendous at tracking a parcel. Not one of them can tell me where my shipment is, and all of them must be in some sort of abyss!
They lost my order almost a month ago and I've been trying to get a hold of customer service ever since. Customer service doesn't answer my many many emails, doesn't pick up the phone, doens't respond to facebook or instagram messages, doesn't respond to the messages I leave on their own contact page. Terrible. I ordered Champion shorts to Canada a month ago and still never received my order. To top that off, after getting the tracking number for Canada Post, I found out my package HASN'T EVEN MADE CONTACT WITH CANADA POST. God knows where the hell my order even is. At this point I have to wait 10 business days to get a response cause the person on the phone filed it to the superiors

I ordered from White House Black Market that uses them. Ordered clearance items (which are no longer available) Borderfree loses my package (I had to track them down as of course there is no response like others said to emails. Then they just shrug it off - like "we lost it" we will just ask for a new one. Like this happens all the time. WTH!
