Shout out to Yolanda who works at Boost on Central Ave. She took over an hour to work with me on a complicated phone situation. She is the BEST in the business! Go see her at her store. She will take great care of you! Thanks so much girl. I appreciate you.
My service was moved from Virgin Mobile to Boost Mobile a few months back. Since then I've experienced: many dropped calls, calls that say they can't be completed as dialled on to go through once the recording ended and a refusal to give me a refund for a month of pre-paid service. I'm not a happy customer and don't recommend their service to my worst enemy.
My Virgin Mobile pay-as-you-go account was acquired by Boost, who then successively escalated fees, with no alternatives. Customer service -- mostly relying on FAQs, not personal representatives -- were immune to real concern, excusing themselves by saying "I'm sorry you feel that way," or "we informed you," or "the system processed this and there is nothing I can do" (What kind of service is that? More like stonewalling.) Not recommended.
Purchased Samsung Galaxy S8 on the Boost Mobile website in July. It took 3 weeks to arrive. Upon arrival, Phone was shattered. Customer service was contacted and I was told a return label will be mailed in 3 to 5 business days. Almost 4 months have passed and still no return slip or refund. Customer service is poor to say the least. Do not spend over $250 for a broken phone and no customer service.
In the split second they could not process a payment from a card that had still one year to go on it and that had worked for a full year, they interrupted service. No warning, no grace period. Every decent subscriber service sends a message 2 days ahead. Even if a credit card were expired which mine was not, give a warning ahead. Not so Boost mobile. Abysmal customer service in this regard. Reception and technical service otherwise without complaints, but... I shall not recommend Boost Mobile to anyone.
I just had to switch my account with Boost to another carrier after they tried to charge me for something I did not sign up for which was some game thing called mini-me games. But before that I was not receiving texts or even phone calls. I had to resort to using Twitter DM as a back-up contact. But all that isn't even the worst. After I contacted customer service (which is really, really hard to do by the way) to have the mini-me games fee removed, I was blocked from transferring my phone number, which I had for over 10 years via great old Virgin Mobile. I was forced to get a new phone number. After Virgin Mobile went out of business, all their customers were forced to sign on with Boost. Wha a horrible company! What a nightmare!
I ha boost over ten years this last 4 months my phone won't call out half time or it clicks off in middle of call I called boost they said they was having issues like serious 4 months now I call b.s I'm switching company's soon as my monthly plan is up boost has gone to hell
Constant disconnects, messages don't come or go half the time. Frequently have to restart my phone. Service drops out of nowhere, from 5 bars to zero. I can only make an outgoing call probably 10% of the time, not even exaggerating. It's the worst service I've ever had and I wish I could afford to go elsewhere.
No internet service unless I'm under my wifi. Tried many times to correct this with customer service. Wondering if anyone might recommend a carrier that might be better I feel this is a waste of my money. Too I have four lines on this account, two lines having the same problem. I am so done with boost
I went to purchase my daughter her first cell phone. When I entered, I was told about a promotion. Pay your phone bill for 3 months and receive a 200 gift card in your email. It's been almost 5 months. No card. I've talked to customer service and they told me 3 different stories. Then I went to the store and the cashier said she had no idea when we would get them. This is one of the worst cell phone companies.
Dont ever buy here rip off! I bought a phone 5 weeks ago and still can't my refund back everytime I call customer service its always a different answer waste of time money and energy worst mistake of my life
Their "unlimited data" is garbage. Was not told my unlimited data would be changed without my permission to limited unlimited data. Phone calls drop randomly, and at times you dial the number and your left listening to everything else around you besides your phone ringing. This company is garbage and blames your phone for the problem. Meanwhile I have 2 friends that are experiencing these same issues.
Had them for WAY too long! Their "unlimited data" is a joke! If you exceed 35 gb they slow you to a CRAWL and you can do NOTHING on your phone besides check the weather! Then they try to sell you "add on" data packs, your choice of 1 gb for $5 or 2 for $10. But it doesn't work. After you buy the packs, speed is still ultra slow. It's just a total rip off, go elsewhere. I've had a different provider for a couple of months and it's FAR better, no comparison.
I ran outa data the first day I got it, 2 g service till the next month, I call to see if I can upgrade and they give me the run around for 2 hours then tell me I can only upgrade my "unlimited plan" to an extra 10 more gs, so how is it unlimited if I have to buy more?, anyways the lady hung up on me after being on hold for hours because she was frustrated... imagine how I felt. Terrible service never again will I waist my money on that rather give it to a homeless person
Recently my girlfriends phone completely broke and we were trying to order a new iPhone with the money we were able to receive from the broken one. Well no matter what card you put in, what device is used to purchase it, or what bank you have, they decline your purchase. When you call to try to work it out they just say due to potential fraud there is nothing they can do until 48 hours. WTF. My girlfriend had called them before I did and they blamed it on her bank, which clearly was not the issue because I have a completely different bank, and the same issue happened when I tried to purchase it. Awful tech support, awful online purchasing, awful company. Makes me want to pull my hair out.
Boost mobile turn off my mom's account indefinitely without her knowledge and any explanations. My mom who is an elderly woman who suffers from a heart condition who needs to stay in touch with her primary care providers now is left without any means of communication with her health care providers. The worst thing my mom wanted to switch to a different carrier so she can keep her the same number they gave us the run around for 4 hours. We never got the proper information so we could transfer her number to a different carrier. At this point,we are hoping that someone is paying attention to this review and we can get someone to contact us soon in regards to this matter.
I have spent numerous hours trying to order a phone online with the boost up program. The order went through and money was taken out but each time the order was cancelled. I've call them on several occasions attempting to get answers and they give several different answers from we don't know to credit. Policy states no credit check so how is it credit? They had my email wrong, they took my money. I've been with this company for 9 years and they treat me like this? Don't ever subject yourself to this company even to save money. Find better and let this company get shut down
I've been with Boost Mobile for almost a year now and I've come to realize that they suck on all levels like I never have service in my on home it's ridiculous especially and I pay my bill way before it's due every month…. I had to find a phone to switch my services to when my phone was not working even with me having insurance because they wanted me to come out my pocket for ridiculous amounts of money…. Yes I mean my phone bill low but other than that boost Mobile service is horrible and you can't even talk to an American that speak actual English when calling customer service…. They have no discounts all their stores are ghetto and have rude $#*! workers just over it at this point
I rarely have service and am never able to call out, send texts, or really even use my phone. They lock your phone and make you stay on their service for 12 month even though you've paid for your phone outright. I have now been with them for 12 months all phones are paid off and have been waiting 4 days for the phone to be unlocked so that I can switch to a service where I can actually make a phone call. If you're considering getting boost service run away as fast as you can. Service is absolute trash. By the way, if you need to get through to customer service you need to choose 5 for more options, 0 for customer service, 3 for technical support, and 3 again to speak with an agent. That is the only way to get through, any other options lead you back to the main menu and there is no way to reach a live rep. It's pretty bad when you have to trick the system to speak with someone about your terrible service. I gave one star because I had to, my honest rating would be 0.
All this company is good for is overcharging for Sim cards, canceling your service, and siphoning as much money as they can with the least amount of effort. The customer service is terrible and you're stuck talking to a robot for 100% of the call which never resolves any issues that are more than making more payments. I seriously do not know how this company is still open given such a terrible track record of customer service.
Answer: I hope so. I want to join. Its not right how they steal money from hardworking people like me.
Answer: You can contact them, but do not bother, they all are trained to act like they know what they are doing but in reality they DO NOT CARE!
Answer: They are worthless. I would not ever recommend them. While their promotions are legit, their service quality sucks.
Answer: Need to change phone to another PHONE. My phone was stolen
Answer: Metro by Tmobile is definitely a step up from Boost. As with all cell phone companies in the store or on line make sure you check out reviews like You Tube before you purchase.
