I'm a current customer of Boost and have been for many years with multiple phones. I've seen a drastic decline in my service since Sprint sold to Terrible Mobile. The Word Unlimited is used a lot in mobile phone service but you really Never get it! I use to get 35gb phone data and 30gb hotspot data but Not anymore. I was Told I would get Better service if I got the New SIM card provided by Terrible mobile to use in my boost phones and I HAD to do it to keep service with Boost. I'm here to tell All that is Not the case. I've received Many offers to move to Terrible Mobile ie; free phones, activation and discount price but have chosen to stay with Boost because it just a hassle to switch. I've voiced my concerns to Customer Service (which is based in India I believe) and they don't really understand and don't know a lot of the time how to respond to a English speaking person. I'm Very Unhappy with Boost/Terrible Mobile and will be moved to Another provider Soon! I Do Not recommend Boost/Terrible Mobile to Anyone! If you actually Use your Data daily it will Mysteriously disappear Faster than when Sprint owned Boost, using my Data the exact way I did with Sprint/Boost Mobile! Buyer Beware!

I was with Boost for 10 years. Never missed a payment. Put up with their poor customer service and primitive website because of the low price. I upgraded my phone to an iphone 12 in April of 2021. Due to travel I switched carriers in November that offered overseas coverage, which Boost does not offer. I was told I could not unlock my phone till I had it for a year. Mind you it was paid in full! I switched over and bought a new device. This April, one year later, after my iphone 12 has been off and useless since November, I was told that they cannot unlock it since my account was not "active" for 1 year! So after 10 years of being an ideal customer, fully paying for a device and waiting for a year... I might as well have a piece of wood not an iphone 12. They say they advise customers to look on the website for unlocking policy. Well, I "spoke" with someone who was not clear because If I had understood this policy, I would have made another decision. What a bunch of thieves with no courtesy!

I'm with Xfinity mobile now because I just couldn't get any satisfaction out of boost and MetroPCS. Their service was bad. Their customer service knowledge was awful. And their customer appreciation and satisfaction were the worse I've ever experienced in a local sell phone service company. I've bought several new phones from these people and each time they've charged me out the wahoo for them even after being with them for years... I Don't like being charged for everything... Break a phone... They're going to charge you double for another one without even giving you the option of a discounted replacement
I have been with the company for years. I have been having manufacturer issues with my phone so i decided to take steps to upgrade my phone. However this is impossible through boost. I have been to each store in my area trying to get help with this process but instead they have no stock and just push you off to the next person or website. As i proceed to website to place order of course i run into problems. I finally get ahold of a agent who actually seemed to help get my order placed but two days later i find out Myself my order was canceled. After several phone calls to figure out why but actually No reason my order canceled they did absolutely nothing with all my troubles and actually agreed that i should go to another company. So now not only do I have to figure out who I should move my service to, I still have not accomplished getting a phone after weeks of trys.
As I work in customer service I am just in shock how a company can treat a loyal customer n just not care for a resolution. Why advertise Phones if really your not able to get one. Gotta do better, smh.
I would even give Boost Mobile a damn star. Since I had this service I've been charged twice each month for my monthly bill. I called and called for them to reimburse me my money, and just like the trifling no good service they are, they didn't return it. They shouldn't be compared to anybody because they don't deserve it. If you can go somewhere else I suggest you do so, I wouldn't recommend them to a dog.
1st off you should know that Boost Mobile only has a 7 day return policy - that's 7 days from the day you order it, not from the day you activate it! My phone took 7 days to get to me, so my ability to return it was over before I got it.
2nd you will get customer service from India or China or some other country, which is fine except that this company must outsource because NONE of them speak English fluently which makes it very difficult to communicate.
3rd. What they won't tell you is that they will send you notices that they will no longer support your great phone (mine was an LG) forcing you to purchase something else and then that phone's service plan will cost more. Which is probably why they'll send you the notices to upgrade in the first place.
4th. Whatever you do, where ever you go - do not buy the moto g pure phone - it randomly freezes, particularly when you are on a call and the features have been over thought - you know the kind where you think about the design so much that you over think it, making it impossibly complicated to do even the littlest thing. I've never hated anything before and I actually hate this phone.
5th. When you call BOOST for support, instead of helping you, they will automatically connect with the manufacturer of the phone. The first question they ask is "What kind of phone do you have" and that's it, you are transferred and have to start over. They don't even let you know that that is the procedure. Very very poor customer service - if any.
I had trouble setting up my mobile hotspot so I called 1st and was told I would receive a call back in 15 minutes, they never called back. I also was approved for the connectivity plan of $20 a month but ended up paying 50 because I didn't want to deal with the horrible customer service anymore. And now that I have the internet it is horrible for streaming it says its 5G but it works like 2g. Do not go with Boost.
Boost is the absolute WORST phone plan you can get! I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years! And the minute my phone shuts off & never turns back on, I call them because I needed my account # to transfer my service to another phone & the hoops & hurdles they expected me to jump through for a 9 digit number were RIDICULOUS. The woman on the phone literally told me to go INSIDE of boost mobile for the account number AS I STOOD there INSIDE and the woman inside told me to CALL as I literally stood there on the PHONE! Both told me there was nothing they could do! You do not need the account number to pay your bill, nor change your number, nor end services. So the point of having to go through such extreme security measures just to retrieve a number that you literally DO NOT need make absolutely NO sense! SAY NO TO BOOST!

The company makes a direct withdrawal from my account every month therefore I don't have paper records of my payments, I need proof of the last two payments I made to present them to court, The representative just told me that my lawyer have to subpoena the company so I can have a copy of the las two receipt, like if I don't have the right to have a receipt as customer for every single payment I make. Even if they take the money out of my bank account, they should send a receipt to my email but maybe that is to much to ask for. They should at least be able to provide a copy of the receipt when a customer needs it. At the end I just go a message saying ooops something when wrong try again later.
