I have attempted to book with Krystal Resort Cancun for a week now and I keep receiving message "transaction was rejected by gateway". I have tried several credit cards and email addresses, but I received the same message. I have tried on my laptop and both my wife's and my phone. I also had my son (located in another state) try to no avail. I spoke with a customer service representative, and he could not assist me or accept my payment. He advised that I could select another location that would take my payment directly (at twice the fee). I used your services in 2017 and ended up purchasing an even year plan with the Villas Group and I know this is a legitimate site. We want to tour the Krystal Resort, but I am suspecting this is not a legitimate location or this is a "bait and switch" to have your customers book a more expensive location. Funny that I see my name and location in the lower left of the screen saying that I purchased 18 hours ago "verified by proof" Obviously, this is not true and this needs to be resolved before I contact the BBB. If BookVIP contacts me to resolve this mater, I will be happy to delete of modify this review.

They now transfer you to an outside booking company that charges you a non refundable $100 white gloves service that u don't need if u ever booked anything you're self. They also charge you the resort fee upfront so you are force to book with them or you are screwed out of over $400. I really feel like I was taken advantage of and I will never use bookvip again.

They stoled my money

Don't trust these ppl O paid for a extension and they can't find it zi have been calling and trying to book for months they said I am expired I said no the asked for 50.00 more to extend it They hung up on me does anyone know of a attorney or lawsuit against these ppl I pd 200 dollars I am a senior on a fixed income Let's start a lawsuit against them they keep trying to avoid the code numbers they gave me someone please contact me on helping me get my vacation package or money back bad business don't trust these people

I booked a roundtrip ticket using kayak.com and they sent me to kiwi.com. After several weeks I received a notification that my outgoing flight was changed for an earlier hour and and my incoming flight had been cancelled. They offered an option for a new flight that was five times the price of what the airline is advertising. After several messages back and forth nothing was resolved. Never again will I allow Kiwi.com to take care of my flight arrangements! NEVER AGAIN!

SCAMMER BEWARE

I booked my trip in 2021 and when I tried to confirm my stay after paying months earlier they said I had already went on the trip when I didn't. I was told they would call back after verifying with the hotel and they never did. This is a scale and I paid $300

We have been calling for 3 days straight to use our paid trip. With no luck every time we call the call drops or there is no way to schedule. I just paid $400 for this trip. Horrible we can't even schedule our trip. Super frustrating

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...

I booked a trip with them and it did not go anywhere. I called them about my reservation and they said it was going well. I called the hotel and they did not have anything with my name. I called back to bookvip and they said "have patience". I am two weeks away from my trip. Then a week before my trip and no reservation anywhere. I called and cancelled. They tried to explain that I signed a term contract. Well, the terms work both ways. They were suppose to have a concierge call me 15 days prior. No call, broken terms. We will see who wins on this game..

James Colligan (one of the bookvip founders) is a scam artist and will steal your money. Don't fall for it, report these charlatans to the FBI, Florida attorney general, BBB, etc. You probably won't get your money back.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!

I booked 2 vacation packages. The phone number listed on the website puts on hold for hours then an automated voice comes on and says to leave a message and someone will call back. I have been on hold for hours and I have left several messages but no one answered and no one called back.

I am disputing my charges.

Steal your money

Do not use I purchased a package and then paid to upgrade to 5* and then it said upgrade for a bonus 5 days at another resort but when I tried scheduling both they said that was not right I just booked 5 bonus days at an inclusive resort not additional package but that's not what it reads like

This company is not to be trusted. They pulled a bait and switch — cancelling my booking and demanding I pay hundreds more for an inferior resort. When I refused they claimed I forfeit my package. Unreal. Scam artist operation here — beware.

I saw an advertisment online for a trip to Cancun for a flash sale at $899 for 7 days and 6 nights 5 star resort (Omni). I booked it with a down payment on my credit card because they provided 24 months to travel. Upon reading the fine print three things stood out that really should be in bold print on the advertisement's front page. First, resort fees are not included $29.95 per night and that adds up when talking 6 nights. Second, you must attend a 2 hour time share thing which to me is ridiculous considering the trip is not giving away free nights or major upgrades and finally, you had to be married or living with your partner. That was the final straw for me since I am single and had planned to take my girlfriend who has her own place. I was able to cancel because I had just booked the trip one hour before but had I waited I am not sure what would have happened. Bottom line, book online and ask the representative to explain in detail every term and condition and record it.

It could be a scam

It can be a scam. In May, i made a reservation for a 3 night stay in July at Boyne mountain resort in northern Michigan, then it was cancelled by Bluegreen resort 1 week before traveling. Book VIP would not issue a refund, even though i had to make last minute alternate accommodations, which cost more than making plans in advance. I am in the process of disputing this purchase/payment with my bank.

First trip out of the states. Paid extra for the transport to and from the airport which was well worth it. Attended a presentation the first morning Transportation was provided as was explained prior too. The Daily Resort fee was explain prior too. Did not pay for internet due to we have unlimited data plan which worked fine. Book excursions from the concierge which was a great time. Cannot beat the all inclusive meals and beverages including your alcohol! Overall we had a fantastic time, can't say there were any hidden fees that were explained beforehand even tips and gratuities included, although we still tipped at our meals! And would go again definitely!

Value for money

Booking this vacation was the like the coolest thing I could ever do for my partner after our marriage. We had a fantastic time in Mexico and they took care of everything for us. The resort was exactly as advertised. The room accommodations were very clean and well maintained. And what's more amazing is, we saved about $1500 on this trip.

Bookvip is a timeshare promotion. There are a lot of stipulations, be mindful. Bookvip has a good booking price, but you have to pay resort fees in advance. Double beds are the ONLY option unless you upgrade for over $50 per night to a king. I'll submit another review once I've visited the resort and tell about my experience.

Bait and switch
September 20, 2019

I booked a package months ago. They called today to tell me there are no rooms available at the resort I booked and they'd have to switch me to another property. I already booked extended dates with Expedia. They would not work with me to fix it. Now I have to interrupt my vacation to check out/ check in, pack up all my luggage, pay for an uber and waste part of my day that I should be enjoying at Disney. Awful business practices!
They also deleted my comments on Facebook and blocked me from commenting

Absolutely amazing!

What a way to vacation having being couped up in the house for over a year. My family absolutely loved everything about our trip even with the rain. My husband and I took our 3 sons on their first flight to Florida and we stayed in an amazing resort! Water park tickets for our entire stay. Visited Wild Florida and Legoland while we were there. Can't wait to book our next vacation! Thanks bookvip!
