The studio in Milan was horrible, poor air conditioning with the hot weather, caused me to leave the rental and book another hotel through booking.com however, after complaining to the property manager, who did not do anything I complained to Booking.com yet Booking.com refused to give any refund. Booking.com only care about your money once they get your money even if you are dissatisfied with your stay, they will never refund a penny. Horrible site to book rental.
Booking.com will not guarantee your satisfaction. Never do any booking through Booking.com you will lose your money.
I recently booked a motel room in Hollywood, FL for 9 days through Booking.com. It was a disgusting, filthy place. Within 1 hr of checking in i contacted Booking.com and explained the situation. They acted like they were sympathetic and would help get a refund, I now realize this was simply lip service. They acted like they too were appalled by the condition of this room. I should have looked at legitimate booking companies and their reviews for this place. Seems like this place has had many bad reviews elsewhere. I'd strongly suggest using another booking agent and NOT Booking.com. They will leave you high and dry. I've attempted to leave my review of the Mariner motel on Booking.coms website. But it seems I've been blocked from doing so!

The hotel charge extra saying that Booking.com only pay them for the adult breakfast. I called up Booking.com the customer service and the manager refuse to honour their agreement as stated in the booking.
Booking.com is a Scam. I have reserved a room on January 1,2017 I came in contact with my bank because every check and more has been lower since then. They said booking has been taking money out every 2 weeks. I said how much they taken out so far she said 1,284. Mind you I'm only 18 years old this was a wake up call...
Got charged an extra 50 euros from my card for a hotel stay a week after it happened.
It is alarming how this can happen, if you give these criminals your card details then they can happily charge you any amount they want to with no authorisation needed.
I've used booking.com for at least two years, and I always check out their deals first. The reserve now, pay later deal is great, and the choice is very good, allowing you to widen the search area with ease.
Having used booking.com for many years my last booking of a hotel in Bali has made me very angry. When booking the place nearly three (3) month ahead my Credit Card was debited with the full amount of 900 Dollars. As result I sent an email to booking.com who replied with a standard message that I could correspond with the hotel direct or to cancel the booking, but there was no word how aforesaid amount can be recovered. In future I won't get near Booking.com
Up until recently I have used this service to book rooms during my travels, however the latest experience has been terrible, and I no longer trust Booking.com to accurately represent the hotels they are listing. I was fraudulently charged almost twice the price I was quoted to book a room in Zurich, and they would not refund my charges. I will never book through them again. Too many other choices without that headache.
I recently decided to take a trip and booked my hotel on booking.com. I thought I could cancel but now discover the I cannot do so. My trip is three weeks from now but the hotel will not issue a refund, even though I contacted them within 24 hours of making the reservation, and now I am going to lose more than $1,300. My trip is ruined before it has even started.
I will NEVER use Booking.con again. It is a very confusing site that pressures you to make your reservation quickly -- hurry, last room!, three other people are looking at this hotel, two other people just made reservations -- which leads to mistakes and bad choices. Shame on booking.com.
The last three times we used them, there has been an issue. Either with the accommodations or with mis-information that has resulted in EXTREME hardship during my stay. They did nothing to resolve either time. Will never use again.
Don't follow through with affiliate partnership rebate deals. They just keep your money and hang up. It's really one star review. Horrible service and just hang up on you. No further business from any of booking companies it owns.
I've been using Booking for years and this is the best travel website out there. When I see people complaining about the fact that they made a non refundable reservation and then decided to cancel it but Booking.com didn't give them their money back, it makes me laugh. Read the policies before making a reservation because if you then want to cancel it, it won't be Booking.com not giving you your money back but it will be the property you booked. Every time I dealt with their customer service, I had a great experience so once again, if you are logical in your request, their customer service will help but based on the reviews I just read, a lot of people just want to complain because their unrealistic requests were not met.
I just booked an executive room in Florida that had a picture of a king bed with an ocean view. After paying and getting my confirmation it was noted that it was a full size bed with not that view. No refund offered as I didn't have the three day window. Only option was to pay more money and hope for a room with at least a queen size bed. Very misleading and deceiving.
Made a reservation, hotel had issues and promised to refund us, but booking refuses to follow up with the hotel to get the money back from them. Three months later, I file a complaint with BBB just to find out they are listed as no longer in business and BBB isn't able to help. They claim the hotel will release the refund but nothing ever happens. I will never use this service again. I find these people are dishonest to customers when things go wrong. Its not bookings fault the hotel had roaches, but when they say they'll refund someone, good luck actually getting it.
Having a hard time recovering a refund from a hotel stay, going to file a complaint with consumer services, they leave you on hols until you hang up from waiting so long also extremely unpleasant and unprofessional.
Booked a room last minute in San Fran 5 star hotel. Best price you could hope for. Upon arrival I gave front desk my booking.com number and she wen to the office and found my reservation quickly. My only advice would be to call the hotel direct once you book. I will use this again
Unprofessional company, which has no procedures. We ordered curtains long time ago and the order was cancelled (being paid) as we did not send them a copy of the passport, which they failed to request. We have been buying from them before, however this time we are so disappointing will never deal with them again.
I stayed at a scam air b&b due to the 9.2 rating by booking.com and it was horrible. Upon contacting Booking.com with my complaint. I was told that buyer beware was applicable. Crap site with fake reviews.
I would definitely say DO NOT use this site to book any vacation stay! We used them to book our 4th of July stay at the Tropicana hotel in Laughlin Nevada. What a mistake! The hotel did not have our reservation on their books or the "notes". When we showed up they would not accommodate us either. ( that's another review). My husband and I called booking.com to resolve the issue for us and all they did was call the hotel, left us on hold for 30 minutes and said "sorry no one is answering", and asked us if we could call them back in a little while. WTH! We have no place to stay on a holiday weekend, and that all you can say! We trusted them with our accommodations and this is what happens? Ontop of that we were charge for the room we never had a reservation at! Bad business! Do not use them or try to stay at the Tropicana either because they are just as rude!

Never book an airline ticket with booking! I had to change the date of my flight. Booking charged my credit card for the price difference, but didn't pay the airline company, I've been calling them every day for a week asking for a supervisor, but hearing the same thing "they will call you back". Nobody have called me back, the ticket is still not paid, my flight is in two days. Customer service is outsourced, all the agents speak with a very heavy, barely understandable accent. The worst company I ever dealt with!
Answer: In my case they took my payment information and paid the hotel where I was going to be staying. Only to find out that the hotel was out of business and I had to prove that it was charged to my account. They did not find me a replacement hotel to stay in for the same price. Nor did they care that I was left without a place to stay. So beware before you purchase.

When you check into your hotel, it's billed to your Bookings.com reservation plus incidentals (local calls, parking fees, resort fees, dining, bar fees, Europe charges local or city tax, spa fees...) the hotel will ask for a card as a hold for these fees. Use bookings.com, find the hotel you wish to stay in (get all info and contact them directly via website and price match) the Marriott in Rome had a room for $80.00 less on the Marriott website than these, so called MONEY SAVING SITES.
