Hi. I booked a hotel room through booking.com. I just read the reviews and now I am worried. Should I be worried?

Yes. Dont use booking.com i still havent received my refund. This is a scam. I highly recommend you choose a different booking site

Noooooo, try and cancel it and look for something else. My one and only dealing with booking.com lead me to a cockroach infested rat hole. Which I am still trying to get refunded. 7 months later!

Booking.com have no customer service if you have paid for your stay already you can not do a great deal go and try to enjoy your stay but if you are unsatisfied with your room contact the hotel desk ask for a change of room and take lots of pictures of the things you are unhappy with as it will give you a great deal of levrige on booking.com if you go to trading standards like I did hope this helps

My experience with booking.com is that they are unscrupulous. If you still want to try them, be sure you charge it only with a major credit card. (American Express is best if you have it) That way you have them to back you up & can file a complaint with them & reverse the charge in the event that there is a legitimate problem. Be sure to read my review. That says it all!

I won't do business with booking.com because they have no customer service. They leave everything to the hotel. If you have a problem, you'll have to resolve it with the hotel. Often the hotel will say they don't have your reservation, so you have to book with the hotel when you arrive so the hotel doesn't have to pay the fee to booking.com.

No, don't be worried. I don't know what these people are talking about. I,'be made a lot of bookings with them and found them efficient and helpful. They even offered and gave me a refund when the hotel ripped me off, even though they didn't have to.
Booking.com gets 5 stars from me.

Confirm your booking and payment with the hotel directly and in book with the hotels directly as they can usually give you the better deals and service if there is a problem.

They sub everything out and are just the middleman swimming $'s for doing pretty much nothing. Good luck

Booking.com is just the facilitator, like Trivago, Expedia etc. I did not make any payments with Booking.com. All monetary transactions were between myself and the hotel I was staying at so I don"t know what to say. I haven't had a problem with money dedeucted from my credit card from Booking.com.
