If you look at the Barge creations, everything looks tasty and appetizing. When in reality the food tastes like it came off a old New York City Sanitation Barge... YUCK!

This establishment is really a flop house of the epic proportions. It is a throw back to the days of Skid Row, Bowery New York (single room occupancy hotels). The owners lure honest tourist to their establishment with booking.com and the internet, then locks you into a fee. Unlike all legitimate Leisure businesses, they refuse to cancel, because they say they are under reconstruction and improvement. Due to their delusion that because they fixed one room for Cable TV's travel channel "hotel Impossible", It is all a lie because that program was last year and they have not improved anything since. Check all internet reviews and every visitor speaks of horrible conditions and destroyed vacations to the Crescent City. Avoid this place unless you love skid row conditions and the Hobo life. 1317 Ursulines Ave New Orleans, LA *******.If you want a similar Hotel then check out the Hotel Parkhurst 11 Lincoln Park Newark, NJ *******. Oop!? The City of Newark closed this establishment up for looking like the Empress Hotel, maybe New Orleans should take a hint?
