This website helps me to travel economically. I have purchased tickets for destinations like France, Jordan and Manila at an attractive price range here and have loved the deal totally.
I called their customer service once as I needed to know in advance about my flight timings. The agent who spoke to me was quite helpful and courteous.
Placed a reservation. Shortly after that I received an email that there was a problem.
-Called back promptly and waited for 30-40 minutes to talk to someone in customer service... finally had someone who said that they would reprocess the order.
-Continued to get emails about a problem... called again after another long wait. I was told the same thing again, they would reprocess the order.
-Continued to get emails about a problem... called again left a message... no one's called me back.
-Next day called again... seems calling the reservation number you get someone faster... then they just transfer you to the credit department... been waiting for over an hour and no one answers.
-Called on another phone and asked to speak to management - no management on site I'm told for the weekend.
Very frustrating!
Still not resolved.
UPDATE:
This issue has now been taken care of. It appears that they had some technical issues on the day that I was trying to contact them. Still frustrating, but sometimes "Stuff happens".

I bought 3 international flight tickets. First, they charged my account more money and I needed few hours to cancel it. Few agents just hung up on me when I called them and simply asked what are those extra charges. Only bank helped me. They just cancelled the extra charge. Then, when I needed to cancel one of the flight tickets I wasted 3 days and more than 6 hours trying to solve the problem. I contacted the aniline company and everyone there was ready help me. I got situation related with medical conditions. According to the airline rules it is possible to get refund of the ticket because of medical conditions. BUT, bookairfare didn't help me with this matter all they told me that the ticket is not refundable and 4 of then just hung up o me. I surprised that this kind of the company even exist in the United States of America. They are rude, unprofessional and their service is really inadequate.
If you don't want headache so don't buy from them. I wish I would spend even more money but buy directly form airline than I have that much problems, headache and feeling that helpless and frustrated
This is not a business to be trusted. I informed them by phone on March 29,2016 that a tour I was taking in Vietnam was being cancelled due to low enrollment. I was told that there would be a $300 deduction by the airline and that they don't charge for the cancellation. The email I received from them indicated the same and that I would get $505.60 in about 7-12 weeks! Problem is I paid $867.60 for my ticket. Another email came to me on March 30 stating the airline cancellation was $300, Service fee was $62. I immediately shot back that they had messaged me that "there will be a charge of USD 0.00 for processing the cancellation." On April 9 is receive yet another email message, "Could you please call us asap as we need to inform that your refund is 730.60 USD, but you need to pay upfront charges of 225 USD to us in order to process your refund. So can you call us back and let us know how would you like to pay for the cancellation." They are scammers! What do you think folks of the inconsistent statements from their sales agent named Ashley (male)? I tried to call this afternoon from California (I believe they are East coast) and no answer. This matter is not resolved and won't be unless they refund my money without any upfront money to them!

They cancelled our flights without even letting us know. When I accidentally discovered it, I called them and they proposed another itinerary, that I accepted. They claimed they were not aware. Sure...
They never re-issued the tickets, and blamed japan airlines for this. I called Japan Airlines, and they said that, even if the travel agent (bookairfare) was supposed to handle this, they would gladly accept to contact them.
JAL call me back, and said that Bookairfare did not even bother to answer their emails.
Bookairfare did nothing, but take my money and run. If you dont want this to happen to you, stay away from this people.
AS if not difficult enough, they barely speak english, and have very limited understanding of travel industry.
If you're on the cheap, take note of their proposals: flight schedule and numbers, and submit price to your local travel agent to see if they can match or get similar pricing.
Otherwise, buy from airline or expedia, or some worldwide reputable agency.
Do us (we, all people bookairfare stole) a favor, and do YOURSELF a favor: stay away from these guys. Believe all of the other bad reviews, for god sake.
I needed a round trip from Indian to Melbourne and back in India and I got it at a less price than many other websites. I could save much more. This was very helpful.
