After paying for my mother's flight to Italy and sending me a confirmation email Bookairfare called me and asked me to send them an image of my credit card front and back and my ID. I suspect an attempt of identity theft. They say they cannot accept my payment with a different name. I reply they can cancel it. Please send a confirmation you have cancelled my reservation. They don't. I need to buy another ticket, should I wait? reservation with trip ID 879098 of Dec. 25th 2016

Dear Paul, We understand the situation and apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please be advised that this criteria falls under credit card verification policy where we try to verify the details since it was a Third Party Payment. We were unable to verify the card details hence the advanced information was requested to avoid any Fraudulent Activity. The details are requested for the own safety and we tell all our customers to hide the information which they are not comfortable sharing on the document.

Your booking stands Cancelled as per the request and an email has been sent as confirmation. Feel free to write us back at fares@bookairfare.com
