In an industry where online shopping is inevitable, there should not be all these fees to return an item because it didn' t fit. We all know that sizes can be all over the board. Charging all these fees to return is not taking care of your customers. Even an exchange for a different size won't save you on the return fee. Plus, you have to pay to return the item. If you purchase a 50 item, it could cost you 75% of that item to return it. That is not right. Bluefly start taking better care of your customers.
I ordered a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses and arrived a week later while I was away.
When I got back home, the sunglasses didn't fit, but it was 5 days over the 14 day return
policy.
I called and they said No Exception. They wouldn't authorize a return.
Don't do business with this company.
Package got lost and they said there is nothing they could do about it. Called me "impolite" and refused to give me my package when I simply asked for a refund after they were being condescending and blamed me for the lost package. Absolutely stay AWAY!
I've been a long time BlueFly customer and I'm incredibly disappointed with my recent experiences. I returned 2 items which FedEx reports was received by BF's Shepardsville, KY facility on 2/23. I emailed *******@bluefly.com on 03/24 and 0/31 about a refund and still no reply. I wish I had seen these reviews before my orders... but I had been a customer too many years for it to be a concern. The Bluefly rep responding on this site is helpful and helped get my refund.
I had the same problem as other reviewer: I returned two merchandises to them using their return label, delivered on 12/30/2013, emailed them 4 times but received no human responses but only automated tickets of acknowledgement of receipt. Called them several times and they claimed that they had a new warehouse that had been slow in processing refund. As of today, February 3rd, 2014, no refund has been issued. They have serious customer service problems! I will NEVER buy from them again!
I ordered a dress, which took a full week to get to me which is fine when it's free shipping, but so many other free shipping sites get there much sooner. But when it came rolled up with no tags on it and with deordorant stains and black pen marks on the front, I was totally shocked, not to mention the split seem right down the front. It was like someone that obviously didn't fit into the size 2 dress, squeezed themselves in it, wore it out, returned it and they stuffed it in a bag and shipped it to me. Now, of course, they do not have a new size 2 so am trying a 4 with the stipulation that if it doesn't fit I will not have to pay for the return shipping. We will see how long it takes to get refunded for the other dress and this one to arrive. Will not order from them again, only because I really want this dress and can't find it anywhere else, am I ordering the other size.
Awful site. I used them in 2014 and ordered three items, I received two and never the third item. Tried them again in 2017- this time, they said the parcel was delivered by UPS (my neighbours and I have NEVER had a problem with UPS delivery!) and I did not receive parcel and when I complained, they said they won't credit my card OR re-send parcel. Awful and horrible customer service. I have contacted them atleast 20 times between email and chat. Save your money- do not use this site!
BEWARE! Don't purchase any high quality or expensive merchandise from this site as they do not offer basic repairs if damaged. I bought a Reece Hudson bag from Bluefly less than a year ago. It's an expensive bag and I expected high quality. The black coating on the hardware started chipping less than a year later after I purchased it and - after making me send them pictures - Bluefly refused to do anything to help me because the purchase was more than 60 days ago, even though they continue to have the bag in stock. If I had purchased the bag from Bloomingdales, this would have been fixed for free in one second, no questions asked. NOT WORTH IT.
Place an order on 13th of April and 9 days later still not shipped! Sent them several emails. Said they took it to FEDEX on the 13th, called Fedex and they said they have never received it. Requested full refund, and still waiting- 1st and last experience I will have with them!
Not So Great For Petites - Sometimes I will find items of interest on this site, however they rarely offer my size and color. This is a good site for someone of average size who doesn't mind wearing last season's styles.
I can't say to much about this company it's just horrible. No customer service and I learned that if no customer service number provide I don't buy from them at all. No number listed means they don't want to deal with their customers.
I tried ordering a pair of shoes 2 times online and 1 time by calling, all 3 orders where cancelled! When I finally got an email about a week later they told me the shoes were out of stock! Never have I experienced such difficulty to make a purchase, I even contacted the bank because they kept insistintg it was the banks fault but the bank reassured me the charges went trough. I even made another purchase from another site with the same credit card and had no issues, my issues were only with bluefly. Its sad because I really wanted those shoes for my wedding and now Im left with no shoes! Dont rely on them! How can bluffly have such an awful return policy and stay in business? I am livid that I cannot return my orders, one of which is within 21 days of shipping, and I am going to write yelp review after yelp review telling people never to use this service. I have just told my coworkers about how horrible it is too.
I ordered a saint Laurent crossbody cost of 1,500.00 retailing for 1900. 00 I received the bag and it was a knockoff with a irregular crossbody strap. It was almost impossible to speak to someone over the phone and get a return label. Do not purchase high end designers from this site the designer told me they are not authorized retailers therefore knock offs.
I bought a Burberry belt on the website. When it was still in processing, I changed my mind wanted to cancel this order. The customer service told me they can not do anything for this after I submitted. Fine, but why my belt was sent to a wrong place. I am in Canada but the belt was sent to Kentucky. I checked the package status, it is said already delivered. I checked the shipping address, it is correct. I sent an e-mail to the customer service and no one replies. So this it? I spent $360 buckets and my belt sent to another place? At least send the belt to Canada, delivered to Kentucky? Still in US? Are you kidding me?

Ordered a nice suit and the item was not delivered on time. Bluefly blamed me for submitting the wrong address and the post office for not delivering it. Then, the wanted me to call the post office all day looking for the item. When it was finally delivered, it turned out that Bluefly had actually mis-printed the address label?
The best though, was when I tried to return it because it was two sizes two small. They said the item was non-returnable. However, neither the web-site, nor the receipt said the suit was non-returnable. I did not get their attention until I called my credit card and disputed the charge. Then all of a sudden they were interested.
I ordered 3 pairs of Taryn Rose shoes on 6/26/17. I received the shoes on 7/12/17. Information in the package stated one pair of shoes was "final sale: non-returnable". I was surprised since this information had not been on the website and not in the confirming email. When I called Bluefly customer service, they said this was an error. I returned all 3 pairs of shoes since none fit which was surprising since I always wear Taryn Rose shoes. I doubted these were actually Taryn Rose shoes. I shipped the shoes back on 7/18/17 using Fed Ex Ground using the BF label. It is 8/12/17 and I still have not heard from BF nor have I been issued a credit. I had to contact my Visa card to dispute this charge. Don't buy from this company!

How do I reach a human rep to find out the status of my return? I called on multiple days since seeing tracked items arrived back to them on March 1 (giving it a few days since it said so in the email). STILL no refund on March 14! Calling but no answer. Only way I know my call has been picked up is that my phone's counter started ticking. I have called and waited MULTIPLE times today (from 10 - 25mins at a time) in silence hoping that someone would come on. SHADY! Should have read reviews before purchasing. Definitely NOT like the company I had ordered from in the past. Have they been hijacked? I just filed a Paypal claim on them and the representative said I have all the proof I need. It's just a major inconvenience to have to work so hard to get my money back. NEVER buying from them again! STAY AWAY from them if you don't want to be conned!
I ordered two suits and they sent me one in the wrong size. I did not order wrong, they shipped the wrong size and don't have it in my size now to fix their error. When I called about returning it and asked about how the discount would be handled, they said it gets prorated to the whole order. So even though each suit was above the dollar threshold for using the coupon and even though I am only returning one of the suits because THEY sent me the wrong size, I am losing a prorated portion of the $50 discount. In other words, had I only bought the one suit that I am keeping, I would end up with the full $50 discount.
Very, very poor policy - entirely consumer unfriendly. This was my first and last experience with Bluefly. They just lost a customer.
I basically never write reviews but in this case I am so appalled that I felt it necessary. Buyer beware.
