I checked out with one container, 24 - 12 ounce cans of liquid, weighing 19 pounds- no cart. Had to wait until employee wrote a bunch of numbers on paper. Maybe she should hold the box while whe does it.
As a member I receive a catalog showing items on sale... but NO prices! They will only say "$2 off" or whatever. This useless catalog does NOT make me want to buy "it" there. Why are they afraid of comparison shopping?
You can match their prices with weekly deals from supermarkets. If you order something requiring shipping, don' t hold your breath. They ship tvs through CEVA...20 minute hold time guaranteed...who will deliver two weeks after order, despite claim of 3-5 biz days.
My membership auto renewed 30 before expiring...we had moved out of the area so cannot use the membership anymore.
We have been trying for a refund since April 30...today is June 15! Nothing but runaround and promises.
BJ'S automatically renewed my membership without my consent. I called, waited on hold for 30 min, frustrated, I hung up and drove to the store to inquire about the charge. The customer service rep. Said, "this always happens"! Really? He refunded my membership fee but also cancelled my membership. I still had one month left on my paid yearly membership. He stated that cancelling auto renewal also cancels membership. This place is so poorly run, deliberately rips people off and tries to get away with it! Thumbs down, zero stars.
I just wanted to say what a great job Greg did helping me exchange / return items at the Royal Palm Beach, FL location. He was so helpful, knowledgeable, polite, courteous and friendly! I am sure you have met an employee that you wonder "what are they doing doing this job? They should be running the place!" That is Greg at the Customer Service desk! I hope BJ's realizes the great employee they have in him and promote him up the ladder where he will be able to use his years of experience and wisdom to benefit them (and him)! This was only my 3rd time at this location, and what a wonderful experience! Thank you so much, Greg, for making the return and exchanges of shorts so easy. I really appreciate your help!
I would like to say thank you, to Contina Mcneill. On Monday May 2,2022, she greeted me and my fiancee' with the biggest smile and we felt welcomed. She was very attentive and explained what she thought would be most beneficial for our money. After reviewing all of the information, along with the flyer we expected to use. She was indeed correct. Ms. Mcneill was certainly a pleasure to have worked with. We look forward to returning to BJ's for more of this type customer service.

One of the store's supervisor was so rude with me. I was experiencing some difficulties with the self checkout machine and I didn't even call her but she came and acted so rude. She threw my groceries like some toy. If she doesn't want this job no one is forcing her but she didn't had to act so rude. She was a white person and I don't know her name. I like the store very much but employees are not so nice.

I experienced a service issue at the BJs in LaVergne. It took longer than expected to resolve the issue; however, Manager Joe and Customer Service Rep, Sherry was very patient and knowledgeable and resolved the issue. It is very important to me to have skilled and caring associates of all levels when entering any establishment. These two representatives did an exceptional job!
Even though I am semi-retired, their customer service was so impressive, I asked if they were hiring! Thank you guys for a great experience. You guys are an asset to your team.

Like any other store you have to watch your prices. Some things like lunchmeat, rotisseries, raw meats & some produce are priced very reasonably. You buy in larger quantities so it always seems like you spend a lot more and come back with only a few items. Dairy products like the milk, eggs, yogurt, butter and cheeses are all great prices too. Prepared foods seem high priced.
1) Bj's Discriminate shipping to a Hispanic U.S. territory in Puerto Rico, especially now that I need all the help they can get due to the island's electrical problem.
2) BJ's to this date treat us the customer like little kids making us use their discount coupons instead of having their discount automated at the register just like they do in Costco, Sam's Club and other average supermarkets.
The waiter during my visit here was awful. It felt like she never wanted to be there, it did make me feel very uncomfortable and I'd never visit BJ's again. With regards to the food, the broccoli served was soggy and unpleasant. My wife basically have us leave and head to get a decent meal at J' Alexander.
Placed an order online to pickup in-club Got my stuff home and my peppers are rotten and the fruit bowl was all smashed. Contact member care for a refund with photos of the food still haven't received my refund.
Ordered online on 11/22. As of 12/6, order still shows processing. Customer service tells me, it takes 24-48 hours to process- todays the 6th- that over 12 days and still processing. My money is gone, they say give it until 12/9 if it doesn't change, then call them back- seriously? They are terrible!
Purchase a couple hundred dollars worth of product from their online website. I received the product split up into multiple orders and 40% of my order was missing. I opened an investigation and of course bj's decided that they will do what's in their best favor, (absolutely nothing). Not a company you want to do business with. Stay away.
Horrible experience tonight. Told us the wait would be 15 - 20 minutes. 30 minutes later I had a look around the restaurant- empty tables everywhere. Spoke to hostess who said servers and kitchen backed up and they didn't know how much longer it would be. We left
The management needs to take some courses in treating customers. Many times I have returned merchandise in perfect condition with lost receipt, instead of giving credit to my credit card, they give me merchandise credit! Another item: Lack of items on shelves, when asked why you don't have it, the response was "you can afford to buy the more expensive brand".!
15 items or less doesn't work for me. Signs are confusing. I spent 450 dollars and was told to not use badly signed self checkout. I don't grocery shop at bjs. I fill my pantry and freezer. 15 or less is for giant. No one was in any of the lines when I z visited.un pleasant experience
After being a member for 7 years and requesting same day delivery, not only did I have to put up with wrong items delivered but also cursing from their delivery person! Horrible- absolute worse service I have ever seen. Needless to say I am going to Costco from now on
Answer: Don't do BJ's...prices are only ok, similar to Walmart...and you need customer care, forget it!.
