I went shopping today. For safety, coupons were automatically loaded to your card and manufacture coupons were not being accepted. Understandable. Today that process is no longer being used. Now the coupons have to be loaded to your card digitally. WHY Isn't it hard enough shopping when half of the items are not available and the prices are rising.
I talked to the manager as was told this was done because of the virus ie safety. That is an excuse. Having the coupon automatically applied was perfectly safe. What is the real reason?
I placed an order at the beginning of April- the order was almost $400 dollars worth of items. No where does it indicate that the delivery service they use is some fly by night 3rd party service with no customer service and no conscience. I have been told repeatedly for 2 weeks that my order will be delivered tomorrow and it still hasn't shown up. I started reporting this to BJ's over a week ago and was told I would be issued a refund. No refund has been issued and when I call/email I am told they are "reviewing" it. This is nothing less than criminal behavior. They have my money and my order and have done nothing to rectify the situation. Do not order from this company.
I will never set foot in a BJ's ever again. When I joined this ridiculous club, I specifically told the woman helping me that I didn't want to auto renew. Fast forward a year. They auto renewed while I was out of the country. After 30 days they sent my 30 day late Membership to collections. Not because I purchased some products and didn't pay for them.
But for a membership. This one 30 day late tanked my credit by 70 points. I absolutely hate this company.
I received 2 damaged lounge chairs in June and since that day I have been asked for new chairs or compensation for the damaged chairs. After numerous phone calls and being told that the person before them did not submit the information correctly, I now, in August, will not be receiving any compensation and will have no lounge chairs for the Summer. The customer service representatives continued to make mistakes with the process and informed me that I could have new chairs for a cheaper price. When I go to order them they then decide to say that they are sold out. This company is extremely unprofessional and cannot be trusted to do their job correctly or honor what they say to you on the phone.
I brought a case of half and half cream today 10/9 (12) in a box, the cashier tore the box open. I asked her why is she tiring the box open. She replied, "you could be hiding something in the box." If anyone brought 12 half and half there is no room to hide anything. I was disgusted.
I've been a paid member of BJ'S Wholesale Club on and off for 25 years. I always hope for the best, but have come to expect the worst. Keeping the few staples in stock that I buy has always been hit and miss, but in this current coronavirus era, their supply chain seems to have fallen apart. Every other store I patronize from small to large has done a better job of keeping items on the shelf. Customer service blames "the manufacturers" even though the same items are available elsewhere.
Because my BJ's is a special trip I call ahead to try and verify if the few things I need are in stock. Even when I'm assured that something is available, it often isn't. And there is literally no way to tell me as a customer when something might be delivered because management says they are completely in the dark as to what will be on any delivery truck on any day.
I believe that when my current membership expires, that will be it.
I went to Bj's lady lake which the staff are just there no real training on customer service i hear i dont know anything about my issue sent me to customer service that you apparently can grab someone off the street and hire they dont have knowledge either so i waist my time on stuff that is instore and no stock and all i hear if your upset they can refund your membership great dont solve my issue just cancel the membership guess woke ism is part of Bj's culture as well piss poor company
Been eating at BJ's Restaurant twice a month for 20 years for a total of 480 meals. I can honestly say the food has always been delicious no matter what we order. But tonight I ordered takeout, a Margarita pizza. It barely had any toppings on it and the toppings that were on it were thrown in a clump in one spot and not spread out all over the pizza. There was so little cheese on it, I couldn't taste it. Which allowed the cardboard flavor of the crust come through. This was the second time that takeout was not well done as far as taking care to have a nice helping of anything. I find takeout is very scant and just thrown in containers. I will not be doing takeout anymore without insisting on reviewing what is in each container before I leave the restaurant.
I had a very bad incident with one of the workers in BJ's Plantation triangle branch. I took the matter to the management team as this person insulted me and treated me in a very disrespectful way.
The response of the manager was we can cancel your membership if you are not satisfied and refund your money.
I was amassed that this is the attitude of the manager and I said I'm not cancelling my membership and I need to know what will be your response to this situation.
They told me we will update you very soon,
But latter I discovered that my membership was cancelled upon my request and the refund was not even processed.
I called the customer service more than 10 times and the only answer I get is we will escalate the matter.
Very bad company and very bad managers
Recently BJ'S decided to update the App since then I know longer have access. I went to the store and explained what happened and asked for help because I always download the coupons. When I thought someone was going to help me I was given a coupon book and sent on my way. This has left me wondering if I will renew my membership
BJ's website is a nightmare to use. It is definitely not user friendly. My plans changed so I needed to change the BJ's location to pick up my online order. The only way it can be done is to remove each item you had in your order even the ones in 'save for later'. Then you have to reorder and clip any coupons that apply. Two of the items I had on my order had savings offered but was not being applied. I had to get a customer service rep to help. After a 10 minutes on hold. Then a message came on that they were busy call back. I reordered all the items and clipped all the coupons. Now I place my order for pick up. I then see it is in store pickup. I needed curbside pickup. Could only change the date and time. I tried the chat I tried calling customer service again. After waisting well over an hour, I cancelled the order. I will also be cancelling my membership.
Purchased a smithfield welsley farms butt ham for the holidays from BJ'S. We had guest over for the dinner and when we opened the ham to bake it was nothing but fat. There was nothing for us to do but make the best of it since our guests had arrived. Not only was this ham very poor quality but we paid $0.70 more per pound than a ham from Publix. We are very disappointed with our membership at BJ'S because this isn't the first issue we have had with them. We will not be renewing our membership with them. We are going back to Sams. Don't seem to have any problems there
Very bad and rude customer service experience. One of the workers at customer service desk tried to humiliate me when I asked her for help. But when she saw other customers were waiting in the line she was acting like nothing was happening and even singing. It makes the customer standing behind me thought the associate was nice to me and I was the bad one.
If she has any chance to watch the video at the store she would know the whole story and how humiliated I was for 10 minutes standing in front of the customer service desk.
I would like to thank the guys who where checking me out today. I am elderly and cannot lift heavy items. The person at checkout helped me with everything. This was at the palisade mall. He was terrific. I am sorry I did not get his name, but it was about 3:30 today. It was great
I was set up for auto renewal but needed to update my card information because the original card I used was no longer valid. I was shocked to see that somehow BJ's already had my updated information. I turned off the auto renewal and will not be renewing my membership. I'm still trying to figure out how BJ's got my information when I never updated it.
Thank you Mason for being patient very helpful understanding and with always with a smile on your face. You do deserve these five stars l really really did appreciate your help. God bless you!
I ordered a dishwasher online through BJ s. Whirlpool gave me a later delivery date which was ok with me. Bjs cancelled my order and kept my money. Whirlpool itself is very nice and has good products and explained what they did.
We ordered a $1400 outdoor deck set two months ago, we have yet to see the set or the refund! But we have spent 8+ hours on the phone with BJS and metropolitan (delivery co) trying to solve the problem. No one can seem to find, reorder or help us with this issue... highly encourage you to shop elsewhere!
The customer service does NOT service customer's. They just give you a bunch of run around excuses to get you off the phone quickly. I will not renew with them. I am beyond fed up with their incompetency. They made a mistake wit my entire online order and charged me incorrectly and over. Their solution "refuse the package and once's it's returned we will refund you your money". First off ups/fedex just drop off packages without signature or answer of the door. When I called fedex to see if I cancel b4 it gets here, they said if the shipper calls to cancel then it can be done. However BJS claims that they cannot call fed ex no matter what fed ex said. "BJs" is the perfect acronym for the way you all JERK your customers around.
My husband and I have been members of BJs for years. Yesterday we did our shopping which is always a large amount because we use it for bulk shopping. Absolutely horrible! One line open to check out- extremely long line at 5:30 pm. We went to self checkout. Everything had to be put on scale even after they had been priced with wand. 6 large cases of various drinks had to be moved again! Then we had to wait while someone came to reset register because the rest of our groceries wouldn't fit and the register wouldn't continue if we removed anything. We spent $500. I guess you can't be old or out of shape to shop at BJs. No one needs back issues. Horrible
Answer: Don't do BJ's...prices are only ok, similar to Walmart...and you need customer care, forget it!.
