I love this cool warehouse. BJ's wholesale warehouse has great deals on just about everything. I purchased a one year membership to go into the warehouse and purchase things in bulk. Bulk items save money. Everything is not bulk, but a lot of items can be bought in bulk. Soap powder is something that I buy because it has become so expensive to buy in regular stores. They have a great selection of all kinds of food products. Fresh and frozen. The prices at BJ's are always cheaper than a regular retail store. Especially on electronics. TV's, computer products, printers, ink and so much more. They have great deals at Christmas on items that would cost so much more for brand name things like jeans, pajamas, socks and other apparel. I love the huge barrels of Italian biscotti cookies. They also have large cans of jumbo lump crab meat that is delicious. I love the variety of toiletries they have as well. Everything from shampoo to razor blades. They have a section for vitamins that are so much cheaper than buying them at a regular grocery store. Even though they don't show all the foods, they have a search engine to search for bulk items, foods and gift baskets also so many other things you may be looking for. Don't forget to check them out there great. I have used BJ's for years I love the different things they get. They have items that others stores don't carry. Although I have never ordered online because I have the convenience of going to the store. Some people may not have a BJ's in there state or country. So try them out I know you won't be sorry. Last year I found a beautiful oreo cookie jar for half the price in other stores. They have the nicest Christmas gifts. I loved the little chocolate filled ribbon candy. They have such a huge warehouse you can get lost in there for hours and still not see everything they have. But price for price they are still cheaper. Check them out I hope you enjoy BJ's as much as I have. Happy shopping

Asurion awful insurance recommended by Bjs. I made a claim and they made a lot of excuses and never replaced my device.

Definitely a horrible company. They charged me for membership after I canceled my membership a few weeks before. Had to call to get a refund.

Merritt Island #120, FL BJ's manager Marie Rogers, was just terrible. She would watched how I would worked. Even though I had exhausted day and was about to called out I still showed up for work but according to her and right hand associate, Salisha Hogans I was moving too slow and hadn't cared for customers orders. She had watched the way I had process pre sliced orders and customers order for about 45 minutes. A few days later I had enough of their tactics of trying to find valuable reason to terminate my employment, I had requested to quit; Five minute later another manager Tammie and Michelle pulled me aside and demanding the way I had worked was not following policy. Interesting indeed, this phishing's means. The way I was taught to work slicing and other associates that does it. They have not had a verbal warning. Why would you want to get rid of some one who is doing their job and come to work even on a off day when under staffed. Ludicrous, I thought about about working the last few days left however, since their planing on finding reasons on terminating me anyways. I will just not show up. You didn't have any hours to give we'll find another employee who'd worked under you. How many you had hired and have quit either in a month or three. People understand this if you need a full time job right away. BJ's can't offer you. Even if you gotten you will only be treated like dogs. They bribe you with hours on their on terms when you want hours and you have asked good luck getting that. Marie had said she'll place me in produce since the produce person was leaving I have worked there for one month and a half. Nothing. Left and found a better job highly paid. Good riddance.

Similar story. Polar opposite difference between BJs in-person experience and that online. This is new to us, as we've been loyal BJs members for over a decade. I had to return an order due to an error on their part. After an annoying employee on the phone finally agreed, they sent UPS a shipping label. He came to the house, put it on the box, gave me the receipt (thankfully), and it arrived at BJs two days later. 5-7 day refund? They kept sending emails stating they hadn't received it. I called numerous times. I emailed numerous times. I live-chatted numerous times. This was over the course of 3 weeks - a month from my first call asking for a return label. The last call? They said it was shipped to the wrong location (THEIR label!) and they were sending it back to me (WHAT?) to then send to the correct place. I said that was absurd, but may I have the tracking number and (wait for it)...was told there wasn't one. ALL BJs items shipped have tracking numbers. I contacted my credit card company, provided the info to dispute the charge. Am trying to find a way to contact Corporate but because it is so difficult - and because your story and mine are not isolated ones - I think they must know that they are bilking customers. The fact that it is impossible to reach them is telling. Finally? This week an email came stating, "Your 30-day window has closed. We have not yet received your return." I am lucky that I have proof. Whether they are doing this out of incompetence or with intent - it is unacceptable, and they deserve every negative review, if not lawsuit, they receive. Something VERY shady is going on and something needs to be done. This is not a one-off, people. Make sure you have a tracking number if you initiate a return. Make sure you've paid with a credit card company who will go to bat for you. The online reps lie as easily as they breathe. They have destroyed the company's reputation. It is a shame that our only recourse is to not support them.

BJ's issues coupons for many things and when you go there to buy them they don't have what they advertised but they only have BJ's brand.

I've been with your membership for several years and I'm a client who buys around $200 and a little more than $200 a week from you and unfortunately today I had a very bad experience at the bjs in West Nyack NY with a worker named Abigail, who doesn't have the slightest idea I know how to treat a client, she has a very bad form, I called her because I couldn't find the price of a product and I had several of them but apparently they all got together when I put them in the cart, and Ami addressed a very sarcastic tone that was practically insinuating that I was taking them hidden, I casually replied that it was that they were all together, but that was not enough and I had already returned one of the scanned products to the car because it was full. The basket and when I called her again to let her know what I had done, she came in a very bad way and told me, already in a very bad way, to relax and turned her back on me, however I finished my purchase and when I approached her and I gave je k that she had to treat her clients better she began to say rude things to me and turned her back on me and called the manager with whom I did not speak, I only asked him his name that is true, the boy is very cordial, it is a pity that they lose clients like me and maybe others because I've seen that behavior from her towards other people there too but well I drink in my case because I really like bjs for my purchases because even though I have a Costco and Sam's membership I always go to BJ's " well vat "because I don't step on it anymore while she's working as a worker at that place..

Don't buy a safe from Bjs ZERO STARS!
July 18, 2022

So i saw that BJS had a sale on a safe, now this safe was pretty heavy but it's a nice safe so I decided to try to get it from the store. HUGE headache at the store could not get any help on how to get it to my truck. Shoulder shrugging from the employees no help whatsoever so I finally decided to go home and order online. So the safe was 549$ and the delivery was 271$ so I purchased. No safe for weeks, and finally an email saying safe was to be delivered, took off of work to receive the delivery but no delivery, miscommunication on BJs. They used an outside company (CEBA) to deliver. Another week and finally another date to be home for the delivery. Supposed to be delivered no later than 3 as I had work at 4, no delivery until 6 (late), safe came damaged dented and seals cracked. Took pictures called bjs they told me I had to return but I would lose my delivery fee of 271$ which they had me arrange. First was told to send pictures and offered 10%which was 80$. My concern was the seals were cracked and it's supposed to be water proof now I'm not sure if it is. Again 3 weeks and 4 emails later asked to send pictures AGAIN. Still no response. Finally I received 50$ return on my card no email no apologies. This is inexcusable, customer service is horrible, the compensation is less than what was offered initially, very very very disappointing! Dented safe no help I will never purchase from BJs again they shouldn't sell heavy items with outside delivery companies. I was so excited to get the safe but now it's just a terrible experience. So here is your 50$ review I hope you do better in the future because when you spend this much money for something it should be delivered in good shape not dented and cracked. Whoever wants to buy a safe from BJs don't waste your hard earned money get it elsewhere trust me!

I ordered 9 gift cards valued at over $275 on December 15th very early in the morning. I saw no where clearly printed that plastic gift cards can take 10 business days to receive. There's warning number 1 for you. Warning number 2, is that as soon as you place an order, you are emailed a confirmation and told you will be emailed once item ships. I should have known when no expected delivery date was posted prior this was a red flag. Warning 3, as soon as your order is placed BJs will take your payment and per my order, created a shipping label on December 16,2021. This is where everything stopped for days. Once they create a label the item is no longer returnable, even if in their possession sitting for almost a week with no shipping progress or keeping their inventory. I begged to return the cards because they were in BJs possession for an extended time with no idea of delivery date, so I could go to a physical store and buy cards there instead. I was told by customer service 3 to 5 business days for their arrival when I called them Saturday, 12/18. I called Monday, Dec 12/20 and spoke to customer service bc the shipping notice hadn't changed and was told to wait until Wednesday to call back on the 5th business day (a work after the order was placed) before they would escalate my concerns. Eventually I got a notification from USPS that they finally received the gift cards on Tuesday, December 21, and delivery wouldn't be until December 27th two days after Christmas and 12 days after I ordered them, 8 business days later... technically 9 if you count the day I placed the order because it was first thing in the morning leaving a full business day to process them. Customer service had no concern for the 9 people who won't receive a gift by Christmas nor were they apologetic. I may have to shop there only because we don't have other wholesale options nearby, but I definitely don't like the company. I definitely will not ever place another online order with them again after this. Per my 15 yr old son who listened to my last call with BJs escalation manager... who wants gift cards days late? This blows.

After 10 years with BJs and the BJs credit card, I was notified that the credit card bank would be switching from Cominity bank to Capital One. I paid off and canceled the card before the switch as I did not want to continue with BJs or switch to a new credit card. After I canceled the card, BJs charged 110$ annual fee on the card I had canceled. I have never authorized them to automatically charge the annual fee. Bjs said they refunded the charge to the credit card but Capital One had already taken over the account and they say they never were refunded. Neither credit card company or BJs will take responsibility for the 110$ that I have now been forced to pay to prvent further damage to my credit. I have spent hours on the phone about this and spoken to countless sorry employees. I am the victim here and my only recourse is to shout FOUL from a review. I will NEVER do business with BJs or Capital One or Cominity Bank ever again and suggest to you review reader- DONT use BJs, Capital One or Cominity Bank.

Don't buy online
April 18, 2022

If I could have given them no stars I would have, I called customer service to inquire about purchasing an online item and it would not ship to store and they only carried a smaller size at the store. I asked if they ever have any promotions or coupons for free shipping and they said they could not tell me?! I said Ok I ordered what I wanted and paid 99$ for shipping not even a week later the same item showed up as free shipping! I called customer service numerous times and "cases" opened via email unfortunately the communication barrier with every customer agent who answered either could not understand you or vise versa! Long hold times sometimes over 50 minutes each call and I called 7 times. So finally I speak to someone who can understand me so he tells me to call Metro (the shipping company) they will reimburse the shipping. So, I call then call them. Metro tells me they can't reimburse any fees BJ's has to since my payment (Item & shipping) was paid to BJ's. So, Once again I call BJ's customer service number and 32 minutes later I speak to Shawn and he tells me he can't reimburse the shipping I have to call Metro. Needless to say I had to go through I just spoke to them and they told me to call you. (As they both point fingers at each other) Shawn finally tells me he can't reimburse my shipping because it wasn't free shipping at time of purchase. I said ok. I'll cancel my order because I didn't receive it yet and will reorder. HE said you can but you won't be refunded for any of your purchase! WHAT? I just spent 1700$ and you are telling me I will lose that if I cancel? I said do you have a supervisor I can speak to? He said I can give you the Corporate email! I find it hard to believe they don't have a contact to corporate! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ONLINE. I WILL MAKE IT A POINT TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO NOT BUY OR GET A MEMBERSHIP FROM BJ's. Thanks for the runaround BJ's!
