Very helpful

I went to the Bj's location 300 Route 17 (North Bound) East Rutherford NJ. Had the pleasure of being assisted by Rashawn H. I was looking at the big tv with my boyfriend I was confused on certain things and Rashawn H. Was very courteous pleasant and helpful he explained the difference in the tv's and checked for us to see if the tv we wanted was in stock. Thanks to welcoming and helpful people like Rashawn H. Made our tv shopping experience a pleasant one.

No CUSTOMER SERVICE

I'm leaving BJs in Weymouth mass now. While looking at clothes, the worker an older lady kept picking up the clothes as I put them down, to fold them and quickly put them back in place, after doing this several times, I said, can you please give me a minute to at least look at the clothes? The girl flipped out on me saying would you speak to your wife like that going off! I asked to speak to manager" FERRY" not helpful at all! I will be asking to return my BJ's membership and get a prorated refund

BJs auto renews membership without your permision. Thet do not honor cancellation before the so called renewal date. Watch you credit card the use with them.

BJs Restaurant Experience

I enjoyed the decor and the staff was really helpful. Outside the restrooms they have an option for you to re sanitize your hands after you've opened the door. Although my mom thought her food had a funny taste and my grandma didn't really care for the taste of her food either. My burger was pretty good but nothing to brag about. Overall this place was good and is a great place to have lunch or dinner with family and friends.

Nice and Pleasant

I was at the gas pump waiting for the salesperson she was out helping another customer she has dreads and she wears glasses and she worked the gas pump today she's always a pleasant and nice person to me and her customers and she always has a smile on her face.

Slicers are piled high with remnants from previous slicing activities all the time. Today it was so high and multicolored on the cheese slicer I could see it from 10 feet away.
Before slicing the cheese I ordered, I asked the deli person helping me if they could clean the machine off because that is clearly tailings from most of the day(1PM). She proceeded to clean the sliced cheese remnants off with her gloved hands and brushed off the pieces onto the floor with her gloved hands.
Then proceeded to slice my order with out changing her gloves! I told her that was disgusting and she told me to have a blessed day. Basically FU.She moves onto the next customer. At 1PM, the store is basically empty. To the laziness of the deli attendants, how could you not take the down time to clean the obvious filthy machines? This has been happening over the past 6 months despite complaints to the web site and the store manager with pictures!
I included the pictures from 10/2023 where they had food stored un-refrigerated and even the scales were filthy. A written complaint tot he BJs customer service on the web yielded nothing. Just a bot email saying they are sorry for the inconvenience.

Tire Bay

Had appt for new tires. Told i didn't need them, honesty! However, I needed sensors, lug nut or 2, rotation+balance. 4hrs later all done. This could have been an anger management issue for me. But the guys were apologetic, informed me of what they were doing, very polite, respectful and fixed the mistake instead of blowing me off and sending me on my way. You guys were awesome and i would not hesitate to recommend. And the store is clean, stocked, bright and fun to shop. Please insure this club gets it's cudos! Ithaca ny

Mechanicsville VA. Customer service acted like they were doing us a favor. Had discount membership coupon for $25 and also im retired US Marine military status. Told my 60 year old wife she could not use either. Why did they mail it to us. I was at the TVs while she renewed our membership. Found out afterward that they had charged us full membership 55 dollars for one year. Went up to the customer service asked wh

Was told she had already completed the transaction and it could not be changed. Woman was very really I don't give a $#*! attitude. BJs member for 6 myby seven years. May t be a number 8.

They don't honor their own promotions.

The promotion said purchase of TV over "$399+" qualifies for gas at one cent a gallon up $99 or 40 -gals.
The salesman said that since the TV was over $399 it qualities (as $399.99 is obviously $0.99 over $399). The people at the service desk agreed. But they didn't understand why the gas promotion wasn't working for me and gave me the BJ'S number. After three calls, *******582, they told me my purchase didn't qualify despite the obvious incongruity. "Melvin" wouldn't allow me to speak to a higher up. The investigation number is: 768-0930.

Sitejabber has a copy of the receipt showing the $399.99 price of the TV.

Just spent 30 minutes waiting at the service desk while this BJ employee talked to two Coustmer while three of us were waiting to get service of a exchange, I have never in my life been treated so rudely at any store,he even cashed them out with a cart full of groceries and kept talking to the point that all three Coustmers left there items and walked out. I will not be renewing my membership due to his rudeness and being so inconsiderate of others. A short man with a raspy voice was the person that worked there and is so disrespectful

Customer service Nati doent know what she is doing, I went to get my second membership cart that was paid for and I stay in line 40 min with only 2 other costumer in front of me, everyone on the line rolling their eyes on disbelieve how this lady was fixing the items next to every single computer and the brochures while she was attending clients, interrupting every moment to do the same over and over! Most painful experience ever. When it was my turn she did not even know how to work the computer so I was unable to get my cart, what a waste of time

Incompetent

BJs put my private phone number on their orders for other customers. Those customers call me if there is anything wrong with their order. I get calls from all over the United States. I also get calls from their drivers trying to deliver. I have contacted them numerous times to take my phone number OFF. Their manager refused saying she couldn't help me. I've written corporate and nothing has been done to rectify this problem. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They take your money and after that you are on your own!

Dissatisfied customer

Did online shopping for free pickup in store. Randomly one of the items was shunted to shipping with a shipping cost of more than 50% of the cost of the item. Getting a customer service rep was a nightmare. (Had to call several times). Was asked to get issue rectified at the local BJs club, but was told by that club that they had nothing to do with online orders. In the end, only some of the charges were reversed. I gave up explaining to the customer service rep over and over again that I was overcharged. Will never use the free pickup service again. A very frustrating experience.

Exchange.

I paid two small stool chair for 14 dollars something and when I get home I found out small dent on the iten I bought. I went back to customer service and I ttold them I need to got exchange and they siad they don't have anymore. So I have no choice and asking her to give me gift card for that and she said she only could give me 5 dollars instead of getting 14 dollars. Bad customer service, no smiling face.

My tire was attacked by a curb right near BJs. I had to be somewhere. Of course! I was told it would be a 4 hour wait, as folks had appts. I decided to do it myself... not pretty! Manager, Tracey & her husband stopped to help me, wow and! Gave me their place in line! (And would this need a ride to work) Eric was very kind and helpful! You are blessed to have them as a part of your team! Thanx guys!

Verbally attacked

Went to buy sweatpants, didnt have ticket, was told it was a 2 piece set went to look and sign said no such sign. Was told I could not read, showed me a sign around the corner. He then took the sign out that said the price I thought it was and ripped it up.

I Purchased furniture last month. They send the wrong shipment. I refuse to accept the incomplete set. I keep getting the same email saying that they are working on it. But nothing get resolve. I asked to refund my money and they start giving me the run around. DON'T BUY FURNITURE FROM BJ. IN PERSON MAYBE.

The small print
November 10, 2020

When you sign up, you get a BJ's credit card - whether you want one or not. After the year is up, they automatically renew your membership on this card. If you dont pay within the time frame, there is a $30 late fee - even if you never used your card. To cancel the card, you need to go on line. During covid, I didnt immediately renew and they changed me a total of $60 of late fees.

I ordered one big item from BJ's online three weeks ago, the website shows the order is completed, but I didn't get it, I called the online customer service number, the machine keep to tell me the ordering status is completed, no real person I can connect. I went to the BJ store, the customer service staff told me that they can't track the online ordering, tell me call the online service, I told them I did, so they said "sorry, I can't do anything since it is online ordering". Now I stuck here. My item spent over $1700.
