I had an appointment to have 4 tires installed on June 20,2022. They only have 1 mechanic scheduled to put tires on and every 2 minutes has to stop what he is doing and take money for propane and fill propane tanks on a busy national holiday! Not to mention any other questions people might have about tires.So now he isn't consintraiting on his job and can easily leave a wheel loose! This is poor management with no forethought and the last time I buy tires at BJS!
Trying to use the app to get about $50 in coupons. App would not work, coupons would not show up. Staff could not get it to work. Choice was buy without the coupons or leave the stuff. We left the entire order after wasting 45 minutes. Managers have no ability to override the POS system. Here is the complaint number *******582 they get som many they have pre-printed slips of paper with the number to handout.
I came in with my 75 year old grandmother, she isn't doing to well and i thought me and my dad and her could go out for a nice lunch. Upon arrival she attempted to order a long island ice tea, again my grandmother is 75 years old, our server then proceeded to ID her, she hasn't been ID'd in years so she doesn't bring ID with her places. I wanted her to have a good lunch so i drove 15 minutes to her house to get it and 15 minutes back, the manager then looks at her ID and tells her it expired last monday and refuses to serve her alcohol. One of the worst dining experiences i've had, will never be returning.
I would write zero stars if I could. They opened a new store near me & I previously had a membership years back. I signed up in person & she charged my card 7 times for 1 membership. I went back 2 times to fix it & they could not. Renewal time I was charged 7 renewals. I contacted them by phone, email & in person. No one helped. They asked for information they had in their records. I had to contact my credit card to stop payment. Then I checked my membership, canceled.

We had a party of 28 which we booked last minute day of, every other BJ's told us they couldn't take a reservation will need to walk in and possible wait 1-2 hours, but here we called and they welcomed us at the time we selected. Our server David was awesome he did great food was good they kept our cake in their fridge brought it out when ready with a knife to cut and plates. We were all very satisfied. David served our whole party alone along with his food runners would definitely recommend him as your server. He took pics for us sang happy bday etc. Thank you for your great service David 8/13/22 and to all the staff who helped, and who got us in last minute ….
I'm not a member of BJ's but somehow they got a membership charge trough my bank for a $10. When called BJ's to dispute the charge they told me it's none refundable. What it mean an unauthorized charge from BJ's is none refundable.
Watch your receipts carefully! Every week some of our e-coupons are not coming off at checkout. They say it's because I clipped the coupons but my husband used his card to checkout. It shouldn't matter! Our BILL comes as one, so should the coupons. Aside from the fact that some of the coupons DO come off, and some don't. This is a weekly occurrence! Im ready to switch to Cosco. Even at customer service they want to argue instead of issuing the credit. Watch your receipts!
I've been a member of BJs for several years. The selections (food, clothing) have seen significantly reduced over the last few years. It's very hard to find some items and all they seem to offer for clothes is their store brand. Which are of very poor quality.
I was a long time Sams club member and it was sooo much better. Larger selection. Fully stocked. And great prices on brand name clothes.
And the coupons are a pain. They have an app to select what ones you want to use. I recently went there and had 4 items with coupons that I selected in the app. But only 2 were applied. I was told I would have to go to customer service to resolve which had a long line. I said look at that line to the cashier and she said that's your problem. Really?!?!?
I would jump to Sam's club or Costco in a heartbeat except the closet ones are over an hour away!
A BJ's member ship started out ok but now it's not worth it. We have to pay a yearly membership fee that just keeps going up. Supplies are messed up since the pandemic started, I get that, so why not give everyone a free year or charge less until things get back to normal. I pay a membership to get the best prices yet I still have to clip coupons. I can clip coupons and get better prices at stores I don't have to have a membership. I use to spend at least $200 -$300 a month getting food and other products. Now I'm lucky to get out of the store with $100 of product. Then there is the BS with the "High Octane" coupons / items you can get 10 cents off of gas. LOL, last time I went in I had 4 of these coupons, but could only find one of the items, then the coupon wouldn't scan so it had to be manually punched in, guess what! Yep... didn't get me my 10 cents off on fuel. Not renewing my membership as it doesn't save me any money.
I spent 30 mins trying to communicate with someone in a foreign country to cancel my membership and credit my $10 fee back to my card. This occurred on the very same day I was billed, so it wasn't like I waited to request the cancellation. Moreover, as an online only customer, I cannot cancel the autorenewal online; apparently you MUST call them prior to the autorenewal date and make the request. Don't know how that might work, but the way they are processing this is outright FRAUD. Also, the autorenewal fee is charged a month ahead of your current membership expiration date. In short, they are charging me for a service I do not want, will not refund my fee, and will terminate my current membership. If you are considering joining this company online, please beware!
I was not a big fan of wholesale clubs even before buying a membership of BJs. Some of the the things I found in BJs are much more expensive than normal stores like Walmart, Lidl, or Amazon. The line for gas is too long, takes at least 15-20 minutes to get the serial.
I have been doing same day delivery for a couple years and they used to call and see if I wanted replacements for the items that weren't in stock. They haven't done that the last 3 times I used this service. So I end up not getting the items I need. This last time that I ordered, not only was my order delivered to my neighbor's house down the street, which I had to now go grab all the big bulk items and carry them down to my house. Then when I went through the order and my receipt I realized it was missing a bunch of items including things that I was still being billed for. I called their customer service and they said that I will receive a refund for the missing items in 5-6 business days, but even if they do give me a refund I will never again use their same day delivery service. The service is terrible now. What's the point if I have to run to the store after I get my delivery to pick up all the items they didn't deliver.
Frys had the same 8 channel Q See home security system for 200 more than what BJs had it for so I bought it here. No sales tax and free shipping made the deal a no brainer. I have shopped here before and thought I should review it and let others know about this site. Good place to shop online and they have literally everything.
On 05/24/22 I purchases 2 $500 disney gift cards from BJ Wholesale. As of 06/15/22 I am still calling and emailing the company because 1 of those gift cards is not activated.
I need my money back or I the card activated for my upcoming Disney vacation.
The warehouse the gift card came from keeps asking for kore and more and more information. I gave them guys everything I have.

I made a purchase online. I never received $515.00 items. BJ's Clara c/s denies me credit or replacement " it was delivered to " mailbox". I Am out $515.00 with no proof of delivery or to where it was delivered. NEVER order from BJ, s for delivery. You will not get it, and you will not get a credit. You can not trust BJ's.
Singing up for membership is easy online, but comes with mandatory auto renew. The company makes it excessively difficult to unenroll. I tried to do so online and was told my spouse had to do it because she was the primary (even though I started the account) she called and was told that she needed me to do it. They are straight up committing fraud and violating consumer laws.

Bjs the store on 172 nw 57 ave the sold me some tires and he said everything was included alignment n high speed balance my car was not driving right so I took it back in the manager said it can come from no alignment I said I thought you guys did do it he said the alignment machine was not working so that something should have been said to me before I rode of with my car but they was hungry for my 815.00 I guess but the manager was so nasty to me in said there's nothing he can do n walked off from me nasty as rude manager they are bad business for not being honest with their customers n letting customers know you all can't do the alignment up front and the only reason I give them one star it's because I had to in order to put this review up
Their substitution service sucks. They didn't have any of the apple type we wanted, so we asked them to get any type of apple. Not only did they not put a SINGLE apple substitution, but they refused to refund us. They ruined thanksgiving because apple pie is a integral part of thanksgiving for us.
Answer: Don't do BJ's...prices are only ok, similar to Walmart...and you need customer care, forget it!.
