We have been loyal customers to bitesquad since it's convenient and always try to give them another chance but they always seem to disappoint. Our food is always wrong every time and they don't provide any type of customer service... they only respond that there is nothing they can do about the items missing and it's ridiculous that we've wasted money for no reason. If they keep treating customers like crap I can only imagine how long their prized possession bite squad will last...

Unbelievable

This company will lead you to believe you have ordered... And then 40+ minutes later when you are tracking your order you figure out it's not coming and has not been placed. This has happened 4 times in a year. They keep contacting me tell me it will get better... Really... I'm loosing Faith. I do love this app and the people, but it very hard to trust every time we order something happens! Just be cautious...

First Experience

This is my first experience with Bite Squad. My order was delivered to me on time, exactly as ordered, hot, and by a smiling delivery person... on New Years Eve, in the freezing cold. Very, very pleased! Whats not to like?

They are always understating their delivery times and then send a text that it will be another 50 minutes. In the last 4 weeks I have had 5 delayed text messages, saying the order will be 40 to 60 minutes longer than expected. This makes it very hard to plan meals and extremely frustrating when I can order the same thing from another service and get it here in half the time. Deleted the app and will not be ordering from them again. All I wanted for them to do to make it right was refund and cancel the small order and they would not, they lost a regular customer over like $13 dollars. If it were uber eats, amazon, caviar, or door dash I would have been refunded. They dont care about customer service.

Long story short: You see the true nature of a company when you encounter a problem. I spent hours of email time going back and forth with them regarding my paid order (19 emails until I gave up). Most responses began with "I'm sorry" shortly followed by a "but unfortunately". As your emails are responded to by a different representative each time, no one seems to really read them well and actually address the concerns posed. I saw this from entry level customer service reps through management. In the end, I gave up on trying to get all my concerns/questions answered as each one I posed took at least 4 back and forth emails to get addressed. I was left extremely frustrated. 19 emails later I was able to at least recoup my food and tip charges (with much reluctance on their end) but they held on tight to that delivery fee with two hands. LOL, good riddance.

I'm very impressed with BiteSquad. We just moved offices and I don't know where any restaurants are close by for lunch. BiteSquad is quick, convenient, and delivers from many restaurants in the downtown Minneapolis area. I look forward to ordering again soon. Thanks BiteSquad

This is the first time I've ordered from BiteSquad and it was so painless. I ordered from Locale in St Pete. Placed the order online, paid and added the tip all in one transaction. The delivery driver arrived 40 minutes later with my food. Hot, fresh and fast! Driver was super friendly as well. I will be using your services again for sure. Thanks guys!

Our meeting size increased by 25% at the last minute and I was able to get the order increased through online chat with a new invoice within 5 minutes. The food was still delivered perfect and on time. That was amazing. You made me look good, but I know who the real hero is. Thank you so much!

Never again!

2 hours for food? Never again. I'm using DoorDash instead. I know delays happen, but I tried chatting with customer service to see what to do, and no one replied. I'm still waiting. Save yourself the grief and order food from somewhere else.

Used bite squad for the first time over the weekend. Part of the delivered order (a main course) was missing but bite squad refused to take back the food they delivered and re-deliver the CORRECT order. They also refused to make a full refund.

Instead, after being screwed over by bite squad, i ate a cold dinner alone while my wife cooked herself something else. Could I have re-heated it? - sure i could... but the point of paying $71 to bite squad is you get a just prepared meal from your local restaurant, not warmed up food.

Is anyone else seeing a trend develop here from the reviews?

Just another two bit company that can't run a business further than it's nose. Customers are not easy to get in any business... and these fools just lost me and as many people as I can make go elsewhere unless they do the right thing.

They charge 3 different fees in addition the driver tip, so they are more expensive than Doordash. Then my food was made incorrectly and I had no recourse. The only support option is a live chat through the app, and I never received any response through that.

Screwed up my order. Then charged me an extra 9.00 after the order when they should have been fixing there screw up to begin with not charging me more money! Worst Customer Service! Use Any other delivery service!

Buyer Beware

We've tried ordering from Bite Squad on several occasions and have had our service denied with a request to provide personal information not needed for this kind of delivery service.

Please read the response from Bite Squad.

"please reply to this email with a picture of your ID and the credit card you used to place the order, showing the name, expiration date, and only the last four digits of the number"

If you feel comfortable giving out this kind of info these days, good luck!

There are multiple other delivery services available that do not request this kind of information.

I guess I should have come here first to check these reviews before I ordered from them. It would have saved me $20. Please do not order from these people. Where do I begin? First of all, the food I received was wrong, the driver drove around in her car in my apartment complex with my food for 23 minutes, so you know the food was good and cold, and she had the nerve to hand me my food out of her window. The fact that I had to stand outside to give her directions to my apartment building was beyond ridiculous! I have had food delivered in the past successfully with no complaints. I've used the former company, Chef Shuttle, several times with absolutely no problems. Bite squad is TOTALLY unacceptable! I chatted, emailed, and spoke to customer care. This business is a joke! If you got money to waste, call bite squad! I just wasted $20 bucks and I still don't have food. I put that crap she delivered to me where it belonged... in the trash! Do not call these folks. You've been warned!

You will he hacked

Poor customer service! This ap has a vulnerability to being hacked. Look it up on Reddit: you will be hacked and people from different states can easily use your info to purchase. The fix per bite squad is a form answer saying they won't refund, you lose your account and to ask your bank for a refund. They literally brushed me off. They had an answer ready because this is common. Criminal. Don't do this! This is a bad company with shady business practices and weak software. You will lose your money:

I was not real comfortable using a service like this but my niece raves about them! Sitting at home, tired, hungry, and not wanting to get out in the super cold weather tonight so I thought why not? Turned out to be super easy and best delivery experience ever!

Absolutely terrible customer service!

I ordered a pizza and wings that said delivered but never was. I tried to contact support for day but it just froze me out. When I finally contacted support on the website demanding a refund, the person on the other line said I needed to complain within 24 hours of the delivery. Even though it was their app which was not allowing me to do do. Their support just ended the chat with me multiple times because I said that's unacceptable and I want a refund. Bite Squad are thieves. They took my money, did not give me my order, and ignored my complaint. Ridiculous service, do not use Bite Squad

Bite Squad is awesome!

I frequently use delivery services for lunch because of my job. The drivers are very nice, the service is 99% of the time super-fast and the orders are always correct. They also charge less than most other services! If you are not happy with something, Bite Squad will ALWAYS make it right!

So far so good! Its awesome knowing what step your order is in. Tried group order with the assumption that we could split pay at checkout. I'm sure logistically this is difficult, but if a future possibility, I'm sure you could get many more orders.

You can't go wrong with BiteSquad! They deliver from twice as many places as any other service and they charge so much less. They also let you know when the drive arrives with a cute doorbell sound. I love these guys/gals.
