Good service, was delivered right on time. Just didn't know ordering something from less then 2 miles away would take an hour to deliver, was really hungry. Will use again but not when I'm that anxious for the food. (also upset that by the time I saw how long it would take to deliver there was no easy way to cancel)

Account hacked
October 7, 2020

My account was hacked so I question the site/app security. I was charged for a large order in a different state. However, unlike other reviewers, when I contacted BiteSquad they promptly reversed the charges and walked me through options to change or delete my account.

Site actually displays restaurants that are closed and lets you order from them - when delivery time had passed it still said your order is being processed - finally after 2 hours it said order cancelled so I ordered from Si Senior Tex Mex #*******. I ordered steak and chicken fajitas for my guy and they delivered steak and shrimp fajitas - he is allergic to shellfish so we had to throw out the entire $20.00 meal! I can't view my recent orders or comment on them on the app with my user info - sent them an email last night and no response - just a horrible experience!

Large order, only one entree received... refused to attempt to bring it again, would only give me a bite squad credit. Now we have people with no food, and so I guess they expect me to re-order it with the same restaurant? What a mess... Don't want a credit, won't use the app again...

I am reviewing for BiteSquad in Seattle area, WA.
The service seemed reliable, the driver arrived on time and no messed up order. The delivery fee was somewhat okay $5.99 considering the restaurant is 20minutes distance.
However, they make you pay the tips to the driver and their online team in advance upon paying for your order. It may be okay but it is NOT okay when they add up tax with the tips amount you pay!
I would prefer to give tips to the driver in person, rather paying in advance and added tax with it! That is not right and unethical.

Gift card problem

My friend sent me a $100 gift card after the passing of a family member. I ordered food delivery and my bank account was charged. I am still waiting to have the issue resolved. My friends intent was to relieve me of everyday stress. But instead it has added to my stress

I ordered the food a little after 3pm. After 3 attempts the food arrives 2hrs late. Nothing but lies about the driver being there and verifying the food. They closed the chat when I asked for the 5th time why my order was late. They kept saying they didn't have a driver available 1.5 hours later and two other agents telling me the driver was already there. They don't have a customer service number and only use email for customer service and they call that 'highest level of customer service'. If your customer service mean blatantly lying then I will no longer be a customer.

Charged Money for Cancelled Order?
Two-hour wait times?
3-5 Days for "Refunds" for Money you should never have been charged in the first place?
Awful customer service?
Being hung up on in a chat because the person can't deal with a legitimate complaint or legitimate criticism?

If Bite Squad has been charging customers for cancelled / undelivered food orders and expecting them to wait 3-5 days for a "refund" during a pandemic, they are engaging in poor business practices. If you have been charged for cancelled orders / undelivered food orders, you might consider the possibility of a class action lawsuit. Bite Squad has indicated that it is their current practice to charge methods of payment on file before food orders are confirmed. Attorneys general in several states where the company operates will be interested in the impact on consumers.

" I am very sorry for the delays on my response. You can email us *******@bitesquad.com."

Just paid $79 to bite squad for a $51 pizza. Seriously? Deleted my brand new bite squad account First/Last order most definitely. Saw the $4.99 fee, but scroll down. There's another $20 in fees that ranged from "other fees" to "tip/extortion" of $9.00 and we're done.

Just created the account and just deleted the account. Thanks, but if I wanted to pay another 50% on top of original order, I'd just give away half my paycheck on my own.

Horrible service
August 27, 2017

Placed an order. Our order was cancelled for some reason and we were never notified. No customer service phone number to call so even more frustrating. I've sent 2 emails with no response from them. TERRIBLE! I would give less than one star if possible.

If I could give zero stars I would. The food takes two hours, some of the drivers are rude, multiple times they said they delivered my food but it never came and customer service sucks. Along with all that, they always add around $12 of extra fees to your order in other charges and do not offer many deals. I have given bite squad so many chances and they keep letting me down. Bad company- postmates is way better!

Absolutely horrid. The food always takes at least 1.5-2 hours to be delivered, arrives cold, and is wrong half the time. It's not the drivers' faults either. The company has them pick up multiple orders at once and accepts orders from customers even when there isn't an available driver so it appears as if they've taken 30-40 minutes to even submit your order to the restaurant. Customer service will hang up on you and stall you, claiming they were disconnected until it's apparently "too late" to cancel your order and you're stuck with cold food. I don't think they'll last very long unless they get their customer service reps in line.

Not only is the food consistently tepid (room temperature) upon delivery every time, my last order came covered in meat juice, 20 minutes late, AND was cold and I was told by Bite squads customer service that there was nothing they could do. I will tell you now what I am prepared to do, DRAG THIS BRANDS NAME THROUGH THE MUD! Y'all charge useless fees to exploit your workers, make the restaurants look bad AND don't even have the decency to fix it when you get it egregiously wrong. Don't waste your money

Great communication

First time using the App. Restaurants easy to find (I searched "Pizza"). Placed my order. 2 minutes later, I got a call from Bite Squad - restaurant was out of Kale, but suggested three other leaves as a replacement. Made my choice, $1.99 for deliver is a great deal! Glad I could insert my own tip amount instead of selecting the %s given. Received a text when the driver was "close by." Food was 10+ minutes early! Will definitely use again.

Works very well, I ordered dinner for my starving student son 2000 miles from home.

Food was delivered timely, and fresh! Warm and delicious. Reasonable fees and up to the minute notifications, what is there not to like?

We had great service with BiteSquad the first 10 or so time we used it. My wife and I work late and need to deliver frequently. 2 out of the last 4 orders were total screw ups. One was supposedly because of the restaurant, the other was a total driver screw up. They fought me over crediting the order that THEY screwed up on delivery. An $80 order that they wanted to credit me $34.00. I would not recommend using them anytime soon until they get their act together. Too bad, lots of choices now with Amazon, Uber and GrubHub.

I ordered some late night mexican food, but the restaurant forgot a couple of items. The chat sessions was still available so i clicked on it and Sam got my little problem resolved very quickly and had the restaurant redeliver the missing items within an hour at no extra charge. Great experience with BiteSquad customer service. Thanks!

This was our first time using bite squad. Normally we only have two choices for delivery, and they are both pizza. In 10 years people will look at my review and ask, is that true? Bitesquad opens up so many options for eating in the comfort of our own home. Ordering was simple, the driver arrived on time and the service sent a text when they were close. The pizza delivery guy always shows up when I walk into the bathroom or out of the shower. I cant say enough about it! Thank you Bitesquad!

Most of our order was correct but that is no fault of BiteSquad. We will definitely use them again. They even arrived a little earlier than expected. It would be great if they could find a way for each person to pay for their portion of food when placing the group order.

Male Arrogance

There are too many rude and unprofessional men working at this place. The service is lousy/late, rude, and just plain incompetent. A driver I had never arrived or called. I complained and asked for a refund then was told to just suck it up its not their problem. Cancelling my account.
