I purchased my second bike from BikesDirect and could not have been more pleased. Just like my initial purchase, bike was good quality and almost fully assembled... a few minutes of prep and i'm out the door. Had one minor issue that Larry helped resolve with no hassle or hoops to jump through. Solid business and great customer service for such affordable prices!

I placed an order for the Gravity FSX 1.0 last week. It arrived yesterday and has felt great so far. I feel like a top dog on the little hills behind my neighborhood. Suspension works well and nothing has failed me yet. Frame is strong, too.
Overall good buy. Need to find a little more cash next time so I can get something even better

Bikesdirect helped put my butt in a saddle and on the road! I looked around at places like Amazon, and couldnt stomach paying more than a couple hundred dollars when I saw they wanted exorbitant amounts of cash for a sub-par bike!
Ride is smooth so far on my gravity, if all goes well I'll be looking back to them for my children

Bought two 450HT's for the kids for christmas this year. Both arrived very rapidly and were exactly as listed on the website. Each bike had a very minor issue: One had leaking tube, other had a broken small plastic clip. After an email to BikesDirect support, replacement parts were in the mail THAT DAY and I had new ones in-hand with 3 days. No questions asked and I amazed at their response! I'm very pleased. As for bike quality, I was also impressed. I was skeptical because I bought one of the lower priced models. Quality is comparable to bike-shop bikes and MUCH better than big-box store junk. Going to order from them again, once I get some money saved. Nothing bad to say.

Not matter where you get the bike (on-line or brick & mortar location)... it's all about the fit. BD's Orlando, FL location gets 6+ stars... Frank, their GM, said it best, "the fewer adjustments made at purchase the better". "Anything more than minimal is not good because it limits the scope of future adjustments and will likely increase the cost of ownership". Again, it does not matter where you purchase the bike, what matters is the initial fit! You can determine that at any LBS or Sporting Goods Store; and, then make your value determination (what am I getting for my dollars? That's the difference!)... you'll find BD is the best "overall" option by any measurement. If you happen to be in FL check out BD's Jacksonville or Orlando brick & mortar locations, see, feel & touch the product offerings, enough said.

I love this site - I was able to get a quality brand name bike new for less. I consulted with my cousin, who is a professional cyclist, and he said that bikesdirect.com has unbelievable deals on any kind of bicycle you can think of.

These are great VALUE bikes! I have now bought 3 of these bikes. I did have a minor hiccup with my most recent purchase but Larry took care of me, and made everything right! Top notch customer service, even better components at your price-point. Hard to be disappointed!

I bought my bike back in 2012 and had no issues with my bike. It has been great. You can beat the quality and price point. Recently, I needed some information concerning that past purchase. Larry@ BikesDirect was very helpful. It seemed every question he answered via email, led me to another question. Larry fielded each question promptly through multiple emails. I am sure I was bothering him... lol; but, you could never tell from his replies. If I ever need to purchase another bike... BikesDirect will be the first and only place I turn to.

I've received two bikes now from BD and both experiences were great. The Gravity Avenue F XD is an excellent bike that has performed beyond expectations thus far. Putting the bike together was incredibly easy. The customer service staff was highly responsive and I had both bikes within the same week of purchase with email and tracking in my inbox same day. The CS manager even offered a discount for my replacement bike after the first was stolen in the city. They made me more comfortable in a situation that was very upsetting. I will not purchase future bikes any other way from now on and highly recommend using BikesDirect.com

The title says it all. Bikes Direct not only sold me a great bike but when a problem came up due to bad advice from my LBS they responded with caring prompt professional service. With their direction I was able to get back on the road in no time. Their service dept is trustworthy and will go the extra courteous mile to accommodate the customer. Definitely recommend Bikes Direct!

A great customer service is apparent not when things go smoothly but when there is an issue...
I got my bike quickly and putting it together was easy. I found a problem with one of the hydraulic brakes though. I wrote ONE email and I got it sorted out in few minutes! Larry responded to me in less then a minute and had a replacement parts on the way that afternoon. No hassles, no issues.
I will buy from BikesDirect again.
I highly recommend them.

Suprising quality
November 5, 2020

I ordered my in-stock bike and received it less than 4 business days.
Box was not damaged by FedEx. For less than $250.00, I am so happy with this purchase. The welds and paint were great. Components were as described. Pedals are too small for me but easily replaceable.
Simple to put togeter and adjust. If you've never put one together go to youtube watch some videos. So easy to do. The whole process was so much easier than you think.
Bike fits and rides great. Will definitely order one for my wife.

I preordered the Gravity Bullseye Monster 2020 and it arrived early with excellent packaging.

I made an oafish mistake during assembly and Larry in customer service responded to my panicked email in under 2 hours.

The bike is fantastic and has components beyond its price. I've owned and ridden three fat tire bikes now (Giant and Specialized)

Cheers to a phenomenal deal, stellar customer service and the best way to spend $ (IMO).

Bikes Direct for the win! Thanks again Larry!

First time I've ordered a bike from BikesDirect. Bike was exactly what the website said. But the fork had a manufacturer defect and didn't fit the wheel. Larry at BikesDirect was awesome: responded within 12 hrs of my email, sent an upgraded fork that arrived two days later, and then immediately reimbursed the $43 it cost me to have the local bike shop change out the forks. That's the problem-free, customer-focused care you hope for! And because of that, BikesDirect will likely be our go-to for bikes for the family from now on.

Best customer service

I purchased three bicycles from Bikesdirect. They offer a great value for the money, but I was most particularly impressed with the after purchase customer service. The third bike had some shipping damage. Larry offered me a generous solution that involved a partial refund for cosmetic damage and immediate shipping of parts that had fallen out of the box as well as asking if that was okay with me. I was most particularly impressed with the speed of email responses and the speed of the refund processing and parts shipment. In a world of online ordering, these things sometimes take too long, but Bikesdirect is right on top of taking care of customers. Similarly my pre-purchase questions were answered promptly.

I purchased a hybrid from BikesDirect for my wife's birthday. It showed up well packaged, except it was missing a front brake pad spacer washer. I reached out to customer service via email, not knowing what to expect. Larry took care of it right away & shipped out the missing part. Their prices are the best, and now I can say so is there customer service!

I ordered a townie bike to ride around downtown and love it!
Cute colors and inexpensive! Sorta like a DIY project with a functional reward at the end.
I recommended bikesdirect to my friends for when they need a bike of their own.
Choosing a bike can be hard only because they have lots of options and some bikes are really similar.
Once you find one you like ordering is simple and shipping doesn't take more than a week.

Bike was in great shape went together fine but the front brake cable assembly was totally missing! Was not on bike as delivered and no-where in box-I had to order another from Amazon in 3 pieces to make what I needed-very hard to contact of these people for anything-
Kinda disappointed some thing important was missing!
Bikesdirect got with me after I e-mailed them and they sent me the missing parts pronto-I am totally ok with deal now -thanks

Superb customer service

Just wanted to thank the folks at bikes direct and especially Larry for their excellent product and even better customer service. My bikes were delivered on time and in excellent condition, but with 1 slight flaw, front tire inner tube would not inflate. I contacted customer service via email and received a reply from Larry within 15 minutes! He apologized for inconvenience and informed me new tube on the way! Well done, definitely recommend bikes direct for your purchase.
