I purchased the book on line only to receive a message some time later saying the title couldn't be found & I'd be refunded
So I never received the book
First time ordering through Biggerbooks. I did not receive any shipping notification even after the initial 4-5 days of processing time, so I thought it was sketch. Eventually discovered I had to login to see the status/tracking information despite the initial order confirmation stating to expect a shipping notification via email. It was delivered 2 weeks later. Other than that, the book itself came in excellent condition wrapped within envelope cardboard packing.
This order was cancelled by BiggerBooks with no explanation. I have reached out several times to get an explanation, but they do not bother to reply. Customer communication and satisfaction is very poor.

Thanks for offering rentals. I hope the return process is as easy as the renting itself. The only issue was that the USPS took 15 days on a 7-10 day standard shipping label, which meant I had to follow up with the shipment and contact customer service, but you did reply quickly and gave an updated delivery window, so I did not subtract stars from that because it's really an issue with the way the post office is being run right now and not on your end.
Didn't receive any item ordered. Items were cancelled due to that.
The book was advertised and I was billed for it but it turned out not to be available. I was credited the full amount, but I should never have been allowed to place my order in the first place. To be fair, I had the same issue with other vendors advertising the same book and on their sites the book is still listed. At least Bigger Books seems to have removed it.

I had been looking for a book and when they said they had it, my friend and I both bought copies (same transaction). However, turns out they didn't have the book, and didn't have the source for it. While I got a refund, I am upset that they would list it like they had it in their warehouse.
Purchased a book, was never told my order was cancelled. It wasn't until I inquired about my book not being received is when they finally told me my order was cancelled "due to an issue with their supplier". I wasted two weeks when I could've found another option. Will never use this company ever again. Like, ever!
Item was exactly what was needed. But it took WEEKS to arrive. Shipping window was accurate. Expect the long end of the window and you will not be disappointed. If you need it before the semester ends, shop elsewhere.
The site will not let me enter the delivery address correctly. I can only cross my fingers and hope the book is delivered to the correct student.
I discovered BiggerBooks via a web search for a specific out-of-print book that I'd had some trouble finding at a reasonable price. BiggerBooks presented as having it available, in like new condition, and for cover price, so I ordered it immediately. But like all things too good to be true, the book never shipped, and BB never updated me on its availability. I've gotten more response from Sitejabber than from BB.
I needed the textbook quickly as the school year was well under way, so I paid for expedited shipping. The website said it with expedited shipping the book would ship within 1-3 days. I paid the extra for the expedited shipping, hoping it would ship in 1 rather than 3 days. Wrong, it was shipped 4 days later. Additionally I wasn't sent a shipping confirmation or tracking. The only way I knew it had even been shipped was because I went to the website to see if I could see if the item had even been shipped. The person manning the chat, checked the order and told me it had shipped. When I asked if I would be refunded because it didn't ship within the 1-3 day window, she told me that they first had to get the book in and then it would be shipped within 1-3 days. Whatever. Long story short, I got my book. Would I use this company again? Only if I couldn't find the book elsewhere.
Never received book or any notice past the initial purchase confirmation, when asked for an update I was informed that I would be getting a refund because the item was not in stock. Keep in mind this is all while the product is still visible on the website for sale. The question you have to ask yourself, is how many active refunds are in motion due to this lack of accountability. Unless you want to waste your time and money, look elsewhere..
If you find a book that you can't seem to find at all or can't find affordably anywhere else, it's probably because it really isn't available. This is one of those weird laundering sites that just leaves items up for sale even though they clearly don't have them in stock...or even plan to get them in stock. I was literally speaking to one of their "representatives" as they explained that the item is unavailable...while simultaneously seeing the item still for sale on the site. No follow up email or anything after the initial order confirmation email, even after sending them a request through their contact link for an update...still had to use the lousy chat only to find out it was not available that way. Absolutely avoid this site unless you want your time wasted and your money floating in the ether for a few weeks!
Paid-for textbook was never delivered and NO contact was made to attempt to rectify the situation.
They don't even deserve one star. They canceled my daughter's textbook without any notice or communications. After three weeks I contacted them to find out it was cancelled. In the meantime they doubled the price of the book and offered no remedy nor refund until I contacted them.
Be VERY CAUTIOUS!
Apparently none of the items were ever in stock, even though I specifically selected only items listed as "in stock". I found all of this out only after a false "delivery confirmation," i. E. my friend never receiving his holiday gift.
This people had listed books they don't even have in stock. I paid for books that were never shipped because they don't have them in stock. I finally got a full refund for my purchases. What a ridiculous waste of my time. Never coming back to this place.
My experience was terrible. I just never received the book.
Terrible service! Order was shipped late, even though I paid extra for faster delivery. Ended up being the wrong book. Put in 3 requests for return (I had to rent the book from Amazon in the meantime) but no one got back to me for several days. Then I received an email asking for patience, they would review my request as soon as possible. Never heard back after that. When I finally did a live chat they said --Oh well... it's too late now for a refund even though I put in the request within the allotted time for a return! They did return shipping costs but only after I complained and said I would give them a negative review. Still giving a negative review. Be careful with this company and keep your own records.
Ordered something that apparently is not in stock or available, but I've received no communication saying anything about it.
I'll give them a couple of more days before demanding a refund.
Not confident that will happen at this point.
