Ordered a book for my daughter and had it shipped direct to her. I know she received it, but have not heard about the condition of the book. I assume it will suffice. Glad you had a copy at a decent price. This book was becoming scarce.
EBooks are awesome for textbooks bc it's easier to find information (which is handy for assignments and open book exams). Delivery was quick and the site used to read the book seems good. And it was a lot cheaper. Definitely pleased.
There was an issue with the credit card on the first order but was not notified. I called after not receiving the books.
Took multiple emails to get shipping information. Books finally showed up 2 weeks after they were supposed to.
Billed me, never had the book, took over a month before they reversed the charge.
I ordered the book, they immediately charged my credit card. The book never shipped. They never had it. Over a month later they finally credited the credit card. I still do not have the book.
They should:
1. Charge the credit card when the book is shipped.
2. don't sell books they do not have and can not quickly get.
Not really rocket science, but too much for them.
I placed an order for a book, and checked on it periodically.
Everything was going well, until suddenly my order was listed as "cancelled and refunded."
I contacted customer service via email - The only method offered - and habe heard nothing since, until Sitejabber asked if Id received my book.

No I have not, and I will not be using this vendor again.
I always check the prices of my books with them last. 99% of the time the have the better price than the others. The website is easy to navigate and the books are in good conditions. It's funny how sometimes I can't find a book at another website to either rent or purchased but I always find it here. Anyway make sure you send your books back 3 days in advance "not the day before the due date or on the day of" if you are a renter otherwise keep an eye on your credit card because sometimes the book arrived late at their facility even though you send it before the due date so you will get charged.
I ordered a textbook, then I dropped the class. The textbook arrived, I returned it in accordance with the Biggerbooks return policy. They denied me my refund, $140, because they claim there was dog hair on the book. I have made multiple requests via customer service for the photos to be sent and they still have not done so.
A) I never even opened this textbook. B) This was a rental textbook, and a normal semesters worth of wear and tear must cause far more damage than a small amount of dog hair... To claim $140 worth of damage due to dog hair, which IF it even exists would have only been on the cover of the book, is absolutely ridiculous.
As I discovered, this website will literally find any reason to keep your money. My situation was a return/refund, but I must assume they do this for rental returns as well. Do not rent from them, do not buy from them. Taking advantage of students.
It was easy to shop online, but when the book arrived I found that it is missing appendix A. This means I can do the practice questions, but I can't check my answers. Appendix A would be very helpful if I had it. I need this book for a college class. It is unfortunate that my copy isn't useful as it could have been.
When I received an email indicating that the book was arrival late after I paid for an expedited delivery, I asked to cancel my order. I was told that I could not cancel it. Instead, I had to wait for the delivery and then return it. There are no instructions for returning the item. I've reached out to BiggerBooks a few days ago and have not received a response. Unpaid over $100 for the book!
BiggerBooks cancelled an order I made for a Christmas gift and did not even notify me. I only noticed two weeks later when I received an email asking me to rate the delivery I had never gotten, because the order had been cancelled. 0 stars.
This manga was listed for sale in stock, but wasn't. Very disappointed that the site even listed it for sale, generating some false hope that maybe they had a copy. Instead, I waited three weeks, sent emails, and was finally told it was never in stock to start with but the supplier had it on back order with no date of receiving it. In fact, it's out of print, so it won't ever come in stock.
Good and fast, Good service, cheap. It's easy to navigate on this website. From all the websites for used or new textbooks, I had a good experience with Biggerbooks in particular because it is fast and easy, and has a good variety of textbooks available.
I ordered a book with one day shipping. On the site it stated when it would arrive. It arrived 4 days later. Spent $30 on shipping and they stated sorry no refund. I could have ordered regular shipping and had it arrive the same day it actually arrived. Bad business and will not receive any more of my money and if I can help it none of the students my kids have classes with either.
Since august trying to order this book - they say it is available, thank me for order then say availability is delayed then finally cancel and credit order - a month later!
Per my records I've ordered 5x, been cancelled and credited twice and need to research those other times. STOP OFFERING a book you clearly do NOT have. Some of the order numbers are different so hoping research will show they can't do paperwork either but we'll see (8/31- 1903 order -?; 9/6 - 4632 cancelled 10/12; 9/11 - 8124 order -?; 9/16 - 4354 cancelled on 10/12; 11/12 - 3992 -?; and, 11/17 - 4016 "update"…). I've bought 100+ books this year so WTF bigger books?!?!?!
Didn't recognize password wanted a reset and then told me couldn't use same password… availability is main reason for going here. Fingers crossed they truly DO HAVE the book…
I'm happy to find this website - it mostly like e-library or something. The idea is great, actually, I saved money with this website, but my advice to improve, or renovate the website design and functionality. Thanks!
My order was cancelled because they "couldn't find a copy for sale". No $#*!! Why do you think I tried to order one from this site? After they notified me they had cancelled my order, I got an email stating that "my book" was still waiting for me and that they were going to offer me a 10% discount on it. On what? Another cancelled order because they never actually had a copy of this item? What a waste of my time this order was!
Ordered a book in Mid-December and I still have got nothing. All I get is excuses. You have the product or you don't. Never experienced this with an online retailer. I have several emails with excuses but still no idea when I will get product. I decided to cancel the order after not receiving update or product.
The website is easy to navigate and showed they had the book I wanted, however they didn't actually have it. After I placed the order, I received an email update a day or 2 later saying they were looking for the book, then another update a few days after that saying they didn't have the book, and cancelled the order. I received my refund within 2 days of the cancellation email. Their email communication is great and the refund was very quick. It's unfortunate that they say they have a book when they really don't.
Run as fast as you can away from this business. I ordered a book from the company and was immediately charged for the book and shipping. Two days later, the company advised me that it did not have--and could not get--the book I ordered. The company then refunded the price of the book but has refused to refund the shipping charge. I have contacted the company twice, but it insists that it cannot refund shipping charges. It takes this position even though, as I have twice pointed out, it never shipped anything. What a racket. With this pattern, it seeks to steal money from customers by taking orders for books it does not have, and then keeping the shipping charges for items it never ships.
Bigger Books refused to refund my purchase. I waited close to 2 weeks for the book to be delivered. When I finally was informed that my book had arrived it was not where the post office said it was left. I messaged bigger books 3 times before finally getting a response informing me that because it was marked as delivered I was refused a refund, even though I had not received the item. The book was already late by a week it was supposed to arrive on the 6th but was not even processed until then. I thought I had found a reliable source to get my books, how wrong I have found that assumption has been. I ended up purchasing the book again from eBay who delivered my book in two days. Waiting for this purchase that I never received cost me more than what I got it for on eBay and made me 3 weeks behind in my class. I will never purchase another book from this site again.
