There are several problems with this site -- quality and size of merchandise is often purposely misleading and the shipping costs are outrageous. The cost for shipping is about 3 times what a legit site would charge. There is a tiny disclaimer about the size of the item based on the photo that says the photo may be enlarged 30X to see the detail. About the only thing you can be almost sure of is the size of watches. Everything else is in metric or carats with no consumer-friendly guidelines. The quality is questionable since the suggested manufacturer's retail is usually more than the item would cost at a local department store. Service is ok as long as you read all the fine print and are willing to pay non-bargain prices.

I have placed several orders with them, all but the last were fine. I bought a double stroller. Credit card was charged, despite Totsy not shipping my order. I received 2 different e-mails that the stroller was in the warehouse, but someone had to go physically make sure it was there. Then, when I finally (10 weeks after placing my order) received a refund, they didn't refund the shipping cost. I will NEVER use this site again. A complete and total sham! DO NOT trust ordering from this site. I will be reporting to BBB and listing terrible reviews on any and every site I can find. Worst on-line buying experience EVER!
Ordered a ring. They advertised S12 to VS1, and when I got the item appraised they were VVS! Amazing! Such a steal. I could resell them for double price.
Jewelry penny auction... just what we need. Not only is online jewelry already a scam industry with people selling shady gems online, but now it is a penny auction. Girls... just don't do it. I know a diamond neclace for $4 is tempting but just stay away from this gambling site
My order always takes at least a month to get and when I get it there are consistantly items that are not shipped that I ordered and were charged for. This last order I placed and just got took over a month to get. Also I ordered a item in one color and they sent me a different color which is horrible looking and 4 items were not shipped but I was still charged for them. This is the last time that I will order from them. This has happened more than once to me.
Ordered from Totsy.com. It did take nearly a month to receive the items but not a problem as they were bathing suits for the summer. However, I only received 2 of the 3 items I ordered. I was informed that one was not available and I would receive a refund for the unavailable item That was on February 22,2012. Five contacts later and March 15,2012 I still have not received my refund. Called on Tuesday and they had no record that I was supposed to receive on despite an email sent from Totsy.com on February, 25th stating they would refund me within 5 business days. She said she would rerun it and I would receive the refund within 24 hours. More than 48 hours later, still no refund. Be vary wary when dealing with Totsy.com. Know that if the item is not available, you may still be charged and never refunded. I will not order from them again and have advised against to all friends and family.
I was a buyer on Bidz when they first came online. I bought a number of very nice things at reasonable prices, sometimes total steals! BUT Then I bought a diamond watch for myself. The description was for 7 carats of diamonds. I paid $700 for it but that is not bad at all for 7 carats. When the watch arrived I could see immediately there wasn't 7 carats. I had it appraised at. 70 carats Less than a whole carat! It is a beautiful watch but it certainly is not worth $700.
Buy low ticket items sure, but not high dollar items.
Ordered matching shirts for two brothers. At least that was the idea. One was sent in the wrong size. Would not accept a return even though the error was theirs. Credited me for the wrong size but I didn't want either of them. I wanted matching shirts! Asked to speak to a manager and was sent to a voicemail and a box that was full!
Called back and was on hold for twenty minutes only to be told that it would do me no good to speak to a manager that a manager would tell me the same thing. Cancelled a large pending order and I will NEVER shop there again.
I have only ordered from totsy once, and that was too many times! I ordered dress, bath toys and growth chart. When I got my order one of the bath toys was missing and there was no growth chart. It gets worse from there. I emailed zulily and never heard from them (they claimed an email problem). I emailed again and there was no way to prove the description for the bath toy stated three items as they had taken down the description. They claimed many people had problems with the growth charts. I was told to watch my bank statements for the returned money... Eventually I gave up dealing with them over 17.00.
Can i give 0 stars to this site? Sites like this should be close inmediately!. Fraudulent, no customer service at all, the ship my order 5 -f i v e- weeks after i ordered and incomplete! But, yes, they charged the whole amount to my credit card. And i notice after i order throug this site i have been receiving a lot of junk mail, guess they do sell e-mail adresses too!. I would never, ever shop thru a websites like this...
They have about $1000. 00 of my money.
They have been lying to me about deliviry, saying they could not deliver an item worth $805.00 plus charges. There has not been a situation that there wasn't anyone at delivery address and I always get a message prior to delivery.
I am looking now for a possible police complain or any other actions I can employ. I understand it could be difficult to get my money back, but I would like to inflict as much damage to them as I can.

When I signed up, they let me enter my Canadian address and I emailed them and they assured me that they ship to Canada. 2 days later I tried to order something and it wouldn't let me enter my Canadian address. When I emailed them about this, they said that they only ship to the United States. I forwarded them the email they sent me stating that they ship to Canada, and I heard nothing back from them. They are a bunch of liars who just want people to sign up to their site so they get more website traffic. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Purchased an item way back in the beginning of May and it has finally arrived. Took the item to 3 different gem valuation companies and they all have said that the item is not genuine and have branded it a fake item. It was brought to my attention that Bidz.com and the Gem valuer acting as 'Independent gemological laboratories Los Angeles' are one in the same and conduct fake online auctions to con people out of cash. The valuation certificate is a fake and to count my losses. I will never deal with this company again.

This site is a bunch of con artists. We ordered 2 pairs of shoes on Nov 5th. We were charged for both, but on Dec 20th one pair arrived. We emailed the site to see what was going on. They didn't respond. We sent a 2nd email, they responded the next day said they'd give us a $5 credit and refund the shoes that were not sent because they didn't have them in stock. A little confused we decided to use the credit and try to get the 2nd pair through them. We still don't have our refund and lo and behold the 2nd pair we ordered is suddenly not in stock as well and that order was cancelled. Luckily they didn't charge us for the 2nd order, yet we are still waiting for that 1st refund. The saga continues...
I bought a ring for 1500 dollars, it took about a month before they delivered it. I immediately took it to a gemologist who said it was a fair price, but its certainly not worth the $12,000 the certificate said was its retail value. I will not purchase any other items from them, they are just too shady. I really like the ring I bought but it was certainly not the value I was hoping for. I think those items that have a minimum price, like mine, are probably the fair market prices but anything over that is overpayment. No bargains here!

The "retail value" or the number that is on the certificates is actually the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price or MSRP and does not reflect the actual value of the item, it is merely the price that the manufacturer would ideally want to charge for any given piece. We use this number as a contrast to reflect the value of our products. Also, we do have a 14 day return policy on all of our items unless otherwise noted so you could have reached out and gotten your money back if any item you ordered was not to your standards.

Made a purchase in the middle of april, after week I was informed that one of the items were unavailable and I was asked if I want that the rest of the order to be shipped out? I agreed and they sent me the partial order and issued a refund for the item which wasn't available I should mark that I had to wait for refund almost three weeks. Funny that the order was delivered faster that they issued a refund but that's not the problem as long as the company communicate with the customer. I am fully satisfied with service they provide and products I have received.
