Not that easy, in fact, as BetterMe is notorious for (a) not responding to unsubscribe requests; and (b) continuing to take subscription payments after they've told the customer the subscription has been cancelled. Many customers never even receive the plan they originally requested, let alone value for money from the unwanted subscription service. The only solution many scam-victims of BetterMe have found is to cancel the credit card / PayPal account through which the original payment was made and start from scratch - not very convenient and doesn't refund you any money already lost. Estafa total! Yo me inscribí por un anuncio de Facebook sin saber que el pago era semanal ( hay que leer la letra pequeña, asumo mi error) cuando me di cuenta pedí que se cancelase mi suscripción. A la semana siguiente se me volvió a cobrar y he tenido que cancelar la tarjeta con la que pagué para que no me sigan cobrando. A día de hoy sigo sin confirmación de que se me ha dado de baja y que me devuelvan el dinero cobrado indebidamente. Cuando les escribo me llegan mensajes de que me contestarán en 24hr pero al final sigo sin respuesta. Voy a denunciar al servicio al consumidor. Seguiré escribiendo hasta que me confirmen pero, vamos, ni el producto es lo que venden ni te puedes dar de baja tan fácil como sus términos y condiciones dice ni te contestan. Espero evitar con este comentario que alguien más cometa mi mismo error.

I've been writing so many emails and messages, and I demanded a confirmation for the cancelation, but to no avail. I've started with it two days after I got subscribed in the first place, doing it completely impulsively and without thinking it through. Since then, they took another payment from me and they still do not answer and do not refund. I am so angry and I feel so bad - frustrated and scammed.
I really wish this will end, or else I'll try to write to people on all possible social media about them. I wrote to the bank already, of course.

I installed the app, and haven't even used their gift or anything else. It was very misleading. I canceled it 2 days later, asked for a refund. No response. I just received an auto-response, but no solution. They keep charging my credit card EVERY WEEK. It was supposed to be a one-time purchase.
I am very upset, I fell for them and can only say: DO NOT USE. They are scammers. Even one star is one too many.

Absolute scammers! Not only did they take out money when I had not yet confirmed the subscription - they continued to take several more payments despite numerous attempts to cancel, the first within the "free" first week. Kept getting repeated messages saying they would contact within 24 hours but no response. Have now sent many numerous emails and nothing back! Worst on line experience ever!

I have had similar problems as those described by the others. I thought that the service seemed sketchy after beginning to enroll, and x-ed out of the page. Later, I saw that my credit card had been charged. I wrote them the next day, informing them that I was charged but did not receive any service. They said they couldn't investigate the problem unless I gave them my account number. Of course, I didn't have an account! I explained that to them in multiple emails, but they did not respond. Then, I was charged again the following month.
This service is not legitimate. I informed my bank and they are investigating it.

Sane story like everyone, paid the one time (I thought fee) of 9.99 but they kept on charging me. After 2nd week I asked them to cancel but they responded once asking me, why I decided to cancel, isn't my health important. I don't care stop charging me but they continue and never replied back.
I had to call my bank and cancel my credit card, and I had to file a dispute to get some of my money back.

I was charged double what the website advertised. In my attempt to cancel (which I did immediately after signing up) I found there is no way to do so and have had zero success with support. I've reported this fraudulent activity to my financial institution and will be following up with my Attorney General! Total BULL$#*!!

You may think it sounds like a good idea. But just don't. I have sent 5 emails to try and cancel my subscription and the two replies I have gotten refuse to help me. I'm going to have to cancel my bank card just for these people to stop taking my money.

I was under the impression that I was buying a one-time personalized meal plan with "over 120 recipes" for the price of $9.99, not bad, about the cost of a good cookbook. It wasn't until after I'd paid that I found out I just SUBSCRIBED to an app that charges weekly! The buttons they said to use to cancel do not exist and the recipes they did provide on the app contain several foods I said I didn't want on the plan (due to allergies, sensitivities, etc.) I emailed them and they mad sure that I knew that cancelling did not mean getting a refund. So pissed. Of course I reported the ad on Facebook, it may be too late for me, but maybe I can prevent someone else from losing money. Eggplant French toast? Ayfkm? Also, $10/wk for access app is ridiculous!

This app is a hoax. I subscribed and till today I am not able to use the app. I wrote to the company and since I didn't get any proper responses, I tried on the app and it got debited twice again. Though I wrote to the company several times for refund, they are not willing to. Ultimately, I ended up paying about USD 112 without using the app.

I'm dissatisfied with this app. They claim they give you a meal plan and exercise program, however its all very complicated meals and exercises that require time and equipment.
You could search through the meals and exercises to better fit your needs, but any working parent doesn't have time for all of that.
Not only that after trying to get a refund after 3 days, they sent me a ridiculous refund policy requiring me to try it for 10 days and send pictures of it not working.
DO NOT PURCHASE. There are far better diet and exercise plans that care about your needs. This organization is a money chaser. End of story.
