The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding installation services, product returns, and customer support. Many reviews highlight issues with rushed installations and poor communication, leading to repeated service calls. Customers frequently encounter difficulties with returns and refunds, often citing long wait times and inadequate support from customer service representatives. While the company offers a wide selection of products and some positive experiences with online orders, the overarching sentiment suggests a need for substantial improvements in service reliability and customer care to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

I was looking for a fridge for my first apartment and the guy in the store really helped me out. He knew all about them and what I need to consider when choosing. But the delivery guys were rude. DIdn't take off their shoes and left my apartment dirty after installation.
I needed a quick performance ram (memory) installed into my PC they knew what I needed and how much so yeah quick I went to the nearest store and it took 1/2 of an hour PC is Blazing! But (obviously) I had to travel. I'm pretty sure they are the only retail left w/ megs of ram on the shelf.
I purchased an item. I was charged $200+ more than I authorized. Screen shots to prove it. No one at Best Buy can help, their service is terrible. Good thing I paid on my credit card and they will take care of it. Best Buy is awful
Best Buy the worst experience ever. Do not trust Best Buy. Purchased a $2000 TV Screen on February 4th, 2016 ******* Katy fwy, Texas store. While at Best Buy we asked for the Elite program, after all we had a purchase larger than the required amount. Elite customers get to enjoy price match and can return items for 30 days. 7 days after we bought it we say it in special in the same store, and SURPRISE! It turned out the employee never updated our purchase. The manager said he could not help, so we called customer service. After numerous 45 minutes calls, they said they could not honor the price match policy because we bought the TV from a sub store inside Best Buy. So be AWARE, when you go in THEIR employee will walk you to the electronic section without making you aware that the electronics section is really Magnolia Audio Video which DOES NOT honor price-mach. They will accept your best buy credit card but you will end up hearing from best buy representatives that THEY ARE BUT NOT REALLY PART OF BEST BUY Best Buy is dishonest and will find a way to rip you off. For all the trouble, I was offered a $50. Gift card, which implies I would have to purchase from them again, of course I did not accept. PLEASE BEWARE! If you earn your money hard and want honesty, this is not the place for you.
Best Buy has always been first class for me. In the store they will even match Amazon! I shop with them often.
Prices are competitive but sale products are not available in store. Bait and switch technique is used at these stores.
I love best buy, they have a very large selection of useful electronics, and their staff is more often friendly than other electronics stores I have visited.
Found a steam mop for less at Best Buy, and I could pick it up that night, no waiting! That was great. Like that service. Great quality.
Ordered an expensive refrigirator. Delivery was scheduled with two hour time frame. Delivery came 5hours late. No phone call. Spent most of my day on the phone with horrible customer service giving me run around. When delivery finally arrived, the fridge was damaged and had to be sent back. I cancelled this order. Lots Of frustration. Best buy turned into worst buy experience
Huge selection of electronic needs. I rather like coming here for window shopping, plenty of electronics.
The price is a bit high in store, however the employees know their stuff and the place is clean and neat.
I've ordered items online or had them delivered from Best Buy several times, and generally with good results. However, I had difficulty recently when I tried to buy a washing machine. I carefully selected one from the same manufacturer as my old one that was listed as compatible with my existing pedestal, and confirmed that Best Buy would install it on the pedestal (it says that clearly in their delivery notes). First I ran into problems because they scheduled me for delivery in the only hour of the day I could not be home and did not call me the day before as they had promised. I know they had the number correct because the driver eventually called me. I found out early in the morning of delivery and called as soon as they were open. The delivery people who mostly said (very politely) that they couldn't do anything. When the driver called, he said he couldn't do another time. Then, while waiting for a call back to reschedule, the driver showed up out of the blue. Yay! They took away the old machine no problem, but then wouldn't put the new one onto my pedestal, claiming that it was "missing" hold-down plates. I know it never had hold down plates, but they wouldn't follow through on installing it unless I bought a new pedestal. So, they left with the new washer and Home Depot got my money instead of Best Buy, just because they refused to set the machine onto the same spot where my old machine had worked just fine for 12 years.
So the bottom line is that Best Buy generally works well as long as there is nothing unusual, but you've got to have a LOT of schedule flexibility, and they have rules they don't tell you about up front.
I love coming here for all of my electronics needs. Great place and always clean.
I bought a Computer program to transfer vcr tapes to disc and decided not to. Never opened (1 week later)and they would only store credit me for another purchase! Beware, I call them fishers!
I frequently buy my electronics at Best Buy because they carry all brands and they provide free help on all your purchase. Love Best Buy!
Answer: I am sure there is a catch-like a 2 year contract. No one gives you a phone for $1
Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
Answer: Great question. Let us know if you were able to get reimbursed.
Answer: I chose Best Buy tech support because they seemed to offer a good deal on support and I bought my products there. I'll go elsewhere now.
