The delivery team called 30 min before delivery, called again that they were in the building, and disappeared. It took over an hour on the phone with customer support to learn that they left due to a parking issue. The resolution the customer support team is suggesting is "Nothing can be done today. Will call you tomorrow."

Disappointing trying to buy a fridge
February 27, 2023

I bought an Insignia fridge and it was due to be delivered Feb 24. The day of delivery, I got a call from AJ at the Geek Squad in Flagstaff that they couldnt deliver it but would bring it on the 26th. I waited the 26th and called AJ with no answer. The next day, today, Feb 27th, I called again, sure they would deliver today but again no answer to my two voicemails. I called the Flagstaff store and they put me through to the Call Center. I talked to Manuel who assured me there was no delivery scheduled foe the fridge, that AJ had lied about it coming Sunday and that the best they could do was another entire week. I was pretty bummed to hear this and asked for a supervisor. According to Manuel, none was available but she would definately call me back within two hours. I asked him to please tell her I was considering canceling the order and wanted to discuss it with her. Within 30 seconds of saying i was CONSIDERING canceling the order, Manuel had canceled. Not suprisingly, I never got a call back from the supervisor either. Maybe some people have better luck with BB then I did but 3 out of 3 service agents were a huge disappointment. Now the fridge isnt coming at all. I spent hours on the phone trying to get this fridge and two days waiting so its really upsetting but I am trying to think maybe its for the best and just go to another business.

On Thursday 23rd Feb 2023 about 3pm, I went into Store #533 to ask for assistance with exchanging an iPad that I just bought to get a new laptop. Fortunately having the TTECH warranty allowed me to go past the 14day trial and still return it. I was afraid that I wouldn't receive the best attention as I know refunds/returns can be a pain for the store but dealing with Genise made the experience completely painless. I appreciated her calm and professional demeanor with handling my return/exchange. I am really much happier with my new laptop than the IPAD. It's so much more useful for my business and I would definitely do business with Best Buy again!

I bought an appliance with the extended warranty. It didn't work, so I exchanged it. The second one was also broken! They refused to refund my credit card and would not even credit the extended warranty that I purchased! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS!

A warning to all buyers! Stay away from best buy in Papillon! I have purchased 3 TV's, 3 sound bars, a Dell computer, monitors, ethernet cables, hdmi cables, and a 4k blu ray dvd player. I have spent thousands of dollars with this best buy. The dvd player is defective and does not work properly. I was told that due to the vendor best buy is not allowed to exchange this product due to it being outside the 14 day window. He told me that it is not up to best buy and they do not get a say in this. However, if I was to purchase the extended warranty, then I would be able to exchange it. It's like magic! The vendor will not allow best buy to exchange their products but if I give best buy extra money then like magic they are able to exchange it! Never again will I make another purchase with best buy, nor will my company purchase the 9,55" TV's for our office areas and gift give aways, all over a $200 blu ray player. This smug arrogant guy got defensive and backed up from me when I mentioned how stupid it sounds to say the vendor will not allow your store to exchange my product in any way due to their set rules, but if I was to give best buy extra money for a protection plan, then like magic I'm able to exchange my product. Then this smug arrogant little man, instead of explaining this to me, tells me it doesn't matter and what it boils down to is that they have the lowest prices in town and he's not worried about losing our business. Now, I'm no longer considering your store or any other best buy store for any purchase ever again. Like i told you to your face, you don't see it as losing money, you already have it. But now you've lost future revenue over a $200 blu ray dvd player because of how you handled this situation and your arrogant smugness. You advised me to look at it from a business perspective, I was the entire time, you sir, were not. I take care of my customers.

Being a totaltech member, I called bestbuy and I on call I ordered Denon receiver on Jan 19th, the delivery guy delivered my package to wrong address and not delivered to me on 23rd jan. I called best buy and they said they will send replacement in 2 days till 26th jan. I waited whole day the package did not arrived, then I called again best buy and their representative suggested to take refund and buy again. I said okay, so he cancelled the order and said he is putting dispatch request and I should get call back or email from their back office team within 48 hours. I didnt get any call or email and did not received the refund. I also coordinated with ontrac team and they shared picture of door where they delivered the package but it was not my door, they delivered it to wrong address. Ontrac guy came for investigation and confirmed it. Still there is no refund till now. I tried going to best buy stores also but manager there said they could not help as it was online order. I tried following up with best buy on calls, email, chats and did not get a resolution. Everytime i contact them a new representative waste my time in first explaining the situation and they say nothing is in they hand they dont know status of old dispatch requests and opens new one. Some ask to wait 48 hrs, saome say 72 hrs, same 3 to 5 days, like this it went on till now and I am still waiting for back office teams mercy to process the refund and give me my money. They not giving me money nor the product and playing games with me. None of their employees are knowledgeable, each one tells a different story just to keep my mouth shut and to let go the call. What are my rights in this case? Both best buy and ontrac are enjoying they day and I am still waiting for my money illegally hold by bestbuy

Non existent service

I was shopping for a TV at Best Buy a week ago. I was told that in order to get a salesperson to help me I would have to put my name on a wait list and wait for 45 minutes to an hour. If I wanted to buy without talking to a salesperson I would have to pick one of the TV's on the floor in a box (very limited selection), carry it to checkout myself and then to my car. Needless to say I bought the TV on Amazon. I didn't get a salesperson but free delivery to my front door, and better price. Why are they in business?

I have total tech & have used for computer and TV with no problem. I went on line regarding another item to make sure total tech could install. I was told by the online customer service chat rep they could. I was told once I ordered the item an appointment would be made. While I was making the order, the rep indicated the appointment would be made by another department so when I returned to the chat he was gone. I waited and waited. I was ghosted. After 4 hours and 4 other reps, no appointment had been made. I called the store and was informed total tech did not install those items. Since I had found something I liked as well on Amazon, I requested that the Best Buy order be cancelled. I stayed on the phone while he completed the cancellation. He requested I call back the following day to make sure "it went through". I went to my account on line and saw it had been cancelled. I received an email the next day confirming the cancellation because "the item was not in stock."? Maybe that was the only option available for him to select. I also received documation of the charge receipt showing a zero balance. I have saved all documentation in the event the cluster is not truly over. Another example of no customer service as poor customer service is the same as none. Any problems they create have to be corrected by the customer. From banks, to grocery stores, doctor's offices and retail this seems to be the norm of staff either not trained properly, of low intelligence or they just don't care.

Least than best buy

I went there today The Albany store. Was greeted by a man named John. He helped me choose a TV for around $2500.00. When it came to pay he told me my check was no good and I had to use another form of payment. I have a checking account just for this purpose. After I said forget it, he was cold and blew me off. I have bought many things at that store and will never go back again. Very bad customer service. Ignorant sales.

Generally speaking, I have found Best Buy to be a very difficult business to deal with. I had an electronic device that worked for a week, but then stopped working. Because it was a few days from the date that I picked it up, they wouldn't take it back. I have avoided going to Best Buy for the last 4 years because we had such a bad experience w/the Geek Squad. We had a contract, but found their technicians to be unhelpful, and even rude. I need to remember not to ever go to Best Buy again!

Extremely Dangerous to buy from Best Buy. It can off shoot and they can charge you without delivering the product and claim that they have delivered. My experience with Best buy has been horrible and they just made me suffer to get a refund after they misplaced my order and kept me hanging by committing that they will refund but at the end did not refund my 900.99 USD. I lost this money for free because of their unethical false claims of delivery of the order. They talk softly with customer but they don't shy away from tricking you and loot you when they mismanage shipments. They tied up with FedEx which is another company who have no value towards customers. I would suggest not to buy on this platform. Once trouble catches you they will dump you and they wont care about the customers. Please have some shame on the cheap tricks that you play with your customers!

I purchased a dishwasher from Best Buy on Dec 27, I was convinced to purchase a Total Tech membership because of the support, and service savings I would receive as a Total Tech subscriber. I scheduled the delivery and installation and it was cancel and rescheduled for the next week. Then on the day it was supposed to be delivered they never showed up. I called and rescheduled once again and again at 5 pm the day before my delivery was once again cancelled. My delivery was scheduled and cancelled three times. Ridiculous, you can't call anybody without spending a half hour stuck in some phone system. I will NEVER buy anything from best buy ever again unless I CAN WALK OUT OF THE STORE WITH IT THE DAY I BUY IT. I have now demanded a refund, and I would advise anyone to avoid Best Buy if you are depending on them for any type of service or delivery, in my experience they can not be trusted to deliver when they promise even after three chances.

This business is so very difficult to converse with for any product questions. Also difficult to speak with a local store directly, everything goes through a call center. After 3 tries today, we will try to avoid Best Buy for all practical purposes. Although they speak English, all 3 were so difficult to understand, it was better to just hang up after 10 minutes of the rhetoric and call in again and see if a different person was understandable. This used to be our main place to go, but not anymore.

Refund Issue
February 2, 2023

I had to exchange an I pencil, but when I went to the store, they were put of stock. Customer service started out helpful and ordered one to be delivered to my house. Unfortunately, it never arrived. When I called, I was told Customer Service couldn't help, I had to go into the store. I asked for a manager & they said managers were all busy and would call me back. Almost 4 hours and no phone call later, I went to the store. At the store, they said they could return my money, but unfortunately, manager was busy with something "important", guess as the Customer I wasn't important? He would take care of it tomorrow morning. Oh. And also unfortunately to actually get my refund I have to come back to the store for a 4th time so they can process it because they don't take phone calls. All calls go to a horrible call center that is only there to tell you to go into the store.
So I have to make 4 trips to the store to get a refund!
How bad is their customer service that they can't even take phone calls any more?!
I should have known better than to shop at Best Buy. I went against my better judgement & gave it a try and it has been a disaster.
Now I remember why I don't shop at Best Buy!

I ordered a replacement refrigerator in December, received a delivery date of Jan 30, over a month. In my order I made it clear they needed proof of insurance (COI) documentation in order to make the delivery at the time of order, that is almost always required in NYC so no problem, in the confirmation email it was noted. I thought they'd call before delivery, but did not. I took the day off work, was home, had everything prepped when they arrived and unloaded my fridge. They did not have the COI documentation, didn't even seem to know what it is. The dispatcher says I have to talk to Best Buy, Best Buy says of course we have this just not with the 3rd party delivery apparently, no we can't just email or fax this now; fridge can't be delivered and is loaded back on the truck. Best Buy says no problem, we'll deliver on Febuary 2, great. Get the confirmation, it says March 2nd. I call them back, they tell me they don't have the fridge in stock and will have to reorder, cannot explain why they can't deliver the one they had, said they'd "escalate the issue" and I would have to call back for a new delivery date. I call back, passed around several times, given the same BS all over again, then told they will have to reschedule my date to escalate my issue again; this makes even less sense than everything else that has happened so far and the new date is on a Saturday, which I said we can't receive deliveries on Saturdays and I could not say my experience thus far gives me any confidence they'll follow through here, response of sorry, it's how it works. So maybe 2 mo after order I'll finally receive my fridge? Maybe? Not super confident. Extremely frustrating that they messed up, came unprepared and do little to try to remedy the situation on any level. They literally could have emailed or faxed the documentation at the time of delivery and this would be done, but no, that is apparently too simple. Will not order from them again.

Customer no-service
January 31, 2023

Purchased an air fryer for a Christmas gift. Had a total knee replacement on 12/29 and was told I could not get a credit card refund on 1/31 when I attempted to return the unopened box with my receipt Just started walking around again.
Customer service was non existent.
Will not shop at this store ever again.

Nice moniter, lousy customer support

I purchased a new monitor for my computer online because it is an inconvenience for me to go to their closest store. My monitor arrived 3 or 4 days after it was supposed to be delivered. I was in process of moving, so this evening when I went to set my computer up with the new monitor, I cannot connect my monitor to the computer because it is missing a cable. Included with the monitor was hdmi to hdmi cable, but I have an older 600 Series Dell desktop which requires d-sub to RGB cable which was not supplied. So online I contacted customer support and got into a chat. All they could tell me was I could send it back for free to do an exchange or refund, or take it to the nearest store. I don't want to do that as either one is a major inconvenience to me. Then the customer service person says they cannot send me a cable. So that means now I have to take time off from work to go to the nearest store to get the freaking cable.
