Ordered a Christmas present on Dec. 6. No information from store that this would be unavailable for Christmas. When still had not arrived on Friday before Christmas, called concerned and told it would arrive on Monday. On Dec 23rd received email that present had supposedly been delivered but it had not been. After 3 very long calls to BELK where I was told to wait 3 to 5 days after Christmas present and let them know if still doesn't show up. Belk says FedEx put in US Mailbox. I tell them this would be illegal use of mailbox and at any rate not there. All afternoon wasted before they would give refund. It is now Dec 23 in a snowstorm and despite the refund I still am left with no Christmas present. Beware.
Seven people in line today and AT LEAST three employees standing around talking. Get grip and quit using the pandemic as an excuse. If you want people to come back to brick and mortar, I would suggest that you make in store customers more of a priority.
The store in The Villages is a mess! The fitting rooms are almost all closed.
I went today and wanted to buy a few shirts, but the dirty fitting rooms, the messy store made me ran out of there without spending one penny!
It used to be a beautiful, clean, organized store!
What's happening?
I have ordered so many times from Belk.com I could probably make my own Belk store. I have never had a problem with the site, customer service, returns, etc. Shipping is good as well as the packaging. I would recommend Belk to anyone.
I ordered a shirt online. They sent the wrong shirt. I tried to call and was on hold for more than an hour before finally giving up. I sent an email to their customer service, waited four days for a response, and finally received a response saying they're very busy and can't respond to my inquiry. Buyer beware! I paid for an item I did not receive and am unable to contact them.
I have always been a huge fan of belk.com. However in the last two weeks I have ordered two formal dresses that were both sent to me used and filthy with the tags reattached. This is so unacceptable! I took the first one back at the end of last week and the sales lady was a palled, as was I. I re-ordered the same dress and got another one in the mail today that is even worse. The ham on the bottom is filthy and it has obviously been worn and the tags put on and resold. Belk.com get your head out of your $#*! and look at what you are sending out. This is totally unacceptable!
I noticed that people put negative review have only one review... Looks sketchy since many say they order all the time... So no other place gives them bad or good experience?!
Any way, ordered Guess boots, got 15% off for singing up for their email and shipping was free for orders over $99. The item came in new condition, as described! Would definitely order again.
PS I had problems while ordering in the begging because I found d a coupon code and when I put place an order it said there is a mistake, please review your order... So I called customer service and they said that the coupon that I found online is for customers that had bell credit card. Once I used a coupon for new customers that is not tied totheir credit card, the order went through fast and was shipped and delivered fast.
I just opened a Hanakkuh present from my mother. It was a comforter set that came from Belk. When I looked up the photo of what she was trying to send I saw what I received is a totally different quality of look and doesn't match the photo.
I am calling them tomorrow because they need to be willing to cover the cost of shipping returns for not posting honest photos of their product. Zero stars from me.
I ordered a pair of shoes, paid for them and a day later received an email saying "We have canceled your order". NO explanation why! I will never order from them again and will advise my family & friends not to.

Called beck upon receiving my shoes, calves do not fit, first customer service talked to manager and they offered a label for return. 4 days later no label, message was left about my return, I insist they finally find that I did called because the return has been started but they say it is against their policy to send a label! Not only I had to fight for them to see I had called previously, the second customer service could have at least tried to save the poor achievement, but kept saying I do not have a note left I cannot do anything lile if I invented my first call. Morality forget about Belk for whatever you buy, find it elsewhere

Rep#3 We can't change the order & we can't cancel it.
Supervisor #1 - can't change it and can't cancel the order but you can return it when it arrives. (Like I trust them at this point)
Supervisor #2 -- (and I swear I didn't raise my voice or cuss)... We can't change it or cancel it. There's no manager with authority to do so. Since you won't accept the answer I've given you I will terminate this call. Hung up.
Everyone knows that credit scores go up and down. With that being said. Belk will randomly pull your credit and if you have something negative " even if it's wrong and you won your dispute ' They will cancel your credit card. Without notifying you! Then when you go to the store at Christmas time and try to use your card they tell you it's been canceled! I've never had anyone do this before! Randomly pull credit and someone else has mistakenly put something on your credit report and cancel my card!BELK WILL CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT NOTICE!
If I could give 0 for this review I really would. I made purchase and was waiting on them to send it, but 3 days later I received email that my order was canceled and no explanation why. I decided to contact them and according to their agent when I made order website was not updated, as they update it every 24-72 hours. Never understood how that is my problem or problem any other customers. Day 4 and my money is not returned yet either.
Extremely disappointed with Belk online. Ordered a simple blanket - Belk immediately charged my card and emailed me that it was shipped which it was NOT. 2 weeks later, after waiting 1.5 hrs on phone, got a replacement order - still no blanket after a week. Told I need to wait an additional week to request my money back. So verrrrry disappointed.
I'm a Belk cardholder. I would really love to support Belk but the fact of the matter is that nothing is ever available when I go to their site to order. Nothing I'm interested in is remotely close to being available within 50 miles of where I live. The site doesn't indicate where if at all that you can get what you want nor can you order it to be shipped. It's really disappointing. Almost as disappointing as H&M. I love both of these stores but the fact of the matter is that nothing is ever available that I'm interested in. Anything that I've purchased through Belk is also cheaply made. I've got several tops that I've purchased. All have snagged and all have come loose where the thread is sewn. I wonder where these clothes were made because the quality is very quickly put together for purchase just so the stores can get inventory on the floor. I love Belk, I really do, but I'm seeing that they are just an upscale Ross, Dress for Less or those other stores that sell brand for less.
Ordered 6 items online Black Friday and have only received 3 items. Paid for all 6 items. One item said it still has not shipped. 2 items said they were delivered and left at my front door. Called customer service all for them to tell me they were out of stock on those items I had not received. So I was billed for those items and given a fake tracking timeline?!?! So mad! Will not ever buy from Belk again!
First time shopping at the Greenville, SC store when on vacation. Really liked the clothes and had tried on a couple and then wanted to try on a lot more with another person who also picked out about 5 pieces - then all of a sudden they closed the dressing room! We walked all the way across the store to use the other one - the only one open in the whole store and it was backed up with people waiting! We could not understand why they closed the one we had been using and they wouldn't tell us. Needless to say they lost our business and I won't be going back there again!
Poor customer service. I ordered my item last may 6,2020 until now I dont recieve it yet. Talking to 5 representatives and they just telling me the same script. Telling me that they can do anything about it. Not buying here again ang not recommend to anyone.
Bought this cookware set from Belk. First time I used the skillet on medium heat the inside and bottom burned up. The second time I used the pot the inside started peeling and got all over the food, which I threw out. The small pot I had to throw out because the same thing happened, the inside lining peeled and flaked and I had to throw it away. So disappointed that Belk would sell a product of such poor quality.
Waited over a week to be told my item was out of stock. My other item arrived 1+ week later and was a size too big but after realizing it was coming out of my pocket to return I kept it. Customer service was awful.
