I ordered online a size 12 men's shoes. They sent them but one shoe was an 11 while the other was a 11. I was told to send them back (which I did first week of March). They have and even won't pick up calls on my issue

Placed two orders online using debit card. First order was $140, second was $68. Checked bank account late wed night before thanksgiving and noticed two more charges from Belk for $103 and $15. So of course I'm upset thinking someone has hacked my account. Called my bank and all they couldn't tell me anything except the charges were from Belk.com. Spent an anxious thanksgiving worried until Belk customer serviced opened day after thanksgiving. I was then told by customer service that the charges are a hold they put on all debt cards until all items ship. Then hold will be removed 3 to 5 days later. What? Why isn't this stated on website when you checkout? Online buyers beware!

Since you've removed Ivanka Trump's line from your store I will be shopping elsewhere. Her clothes are reasonably priced and perfect for work. I cut my Belk card up tonight and have told my friends to shop elsewhere as well. Belk may be facing the end of an era since they've chosen to put their political views out there. I have been a customer my entire life, my mom actually worked as a department manager prior to my birth. With so many online sites I'm sure I'll find plenty of sites that want my money without dictating their political views by dropping my favorite brand.

Yes, that's right, I ordered a Tissot watch off their website and they sent an obviously used watch. Either it was a customer return or store display but had none of the manufacturers protective packaging around it, was missing its warranty card and the UPC code was crossed out in magic marker on the hang tag. The leather band showed signs of having been worn! Such a disappointment and to have to pay return shipping to send back a used watch just adds insult to injury. Never again. Buy from Amazon, at least you can return it for free.

I made a fine jewelry jewelry purchase. 12 months NO interest. They Did charge interest. I notice this about month 4. I called spoke with customer service took them so long to understand but they said it was fixed. Two months later still charging me interest. I called again was on the phone exactly 1 hour. Lady very nice even got her supervisor to help her. Was told problem fixed and any finance charges were returned to my card. Nope! Didn't happen! I just went ahead and paid the bill off which wasn't cheap. I did it to keep them from taking my money in interest. Unbelievable!

This was my second time to shop on Belk.com. I usually go to the actual store since there are several around my area. First time ordering from the website, I had no problem and was super happy with the order. This time, not so much. I ordered $110 worth of items (to get free shipping on the order over $100), one item was canceled (which also happens sometimes with other companies), and I was actually charged more! With the canceled item being taken out, I should have been charged $99, but instead, I was charged a total amount of $150 in 3 separate transactions! It gets even better. The other 2 charges were completely random numbers, no where to be found on my order history! I'll call customer service tomorrow but from what the reviews said, I don't think I'll have much luck. Stay away from Belk.com!

Trip to Belk Today
November 30, 2021

Where to start. We'll I can say that the lady checking me out was very pleasant. The cloths at the front of the store was pretty and organized but when I got back to the plus size section it looked like a bunch of people ripped everything off the rack and wiped the floors down and tried to hang it back up. I remember when this was a nice place to by business, fitness, casual for all sizes. It ne er looked this way before it moved.

Today My father and myself went into Belks to purchase my Brother a birthday gift. We were shopping at cologne counter and purchased a very expensive bottle of Channel and an I touch watch... The two girls at the counter were so unprofessional and both had poor attitudes... instead of helping me and my father... We had to sit and listen to them complain about thier co-workers... They could care less about helping us. We spent several hundred dollars as well... For some reason Russellville Arkansas Store is the worst. I even asked one of them how long The MK purses would stay on sale. She replied "um I don't really know" And never bothered to find out for me... Lazy Lazy Lazy girl. I will drive 45 miles to next Belks to NOT! Go through this again. Shame on you Russellville Store for employing such people... Sherri Vos

Same thing happened to *******@Erica complaint.
I will be calling corporate Tues, BBB & my bank tomorrow. Just got off the phone with customer service & they claim the hold should fall off. I shop online all the time, never had a company place a hold then charge you again as items ship. Meaning a $100 order has $200 being held.Not to mention coming from different warehouses. Companies charge up front or don't charge me until it actually ships. This was my 1st encounter & last with belk.com. I will be filing a claim with my bank if it doesn't come off. Then the order delivery date has the audacity to be 2 weeks. Site seems like a scam to me.

Most businesses let you know if an item is in stock online. Once availability has been confirmed you proceed with your order and expect within 1 to 2 business days to receive an email for tracking confirmation that the shipment is on its way. Well that is most companies with the exception of Belk.com. On more than one occasion I placed an order and waited for delivery information but then about a week later I get an email that my order has been canceled and I was not charged because the item was not in stock? There seems to be some disconnect between the process Belk uses for updating their perpetual inventory and what is shown to consumers online. I'm an elite card holder and never have I seen a process so dysfunctional. If you're truly in need of an item, Belk.com should be your last resort.

I ordered shoes from this store and they came with a security tag attached to them. I shipped them back and got them for a second time with the security tag attached to the shoes again. This is not okay at all! I tried calling customer service and they have me waiting for more than an hr. I'm so disappointed. I want a refund ASAP especially with COVID-19 and Mother's Day coming I can't afford to get robbed. Plus not to mention this shoes were to use when I got back to work. Shame on you.

My card shows a date of 1976 on it and I am very disappointed in your choice to limit my ability to purchase Trump products in your stores or on line... I suggest you get this fixed ASAP or my trips to your business will be sharply curtailed... We do not have to go there as you very well know.

I called at 630 pm to ask if my cosmetic counter person was available. Sje wasnt but I went anyway to make two purchases and left with nothing because I am an associate and we are always last. I talked to a manager and I got If you think its bad tonight tomorrow will be worse. Never ever again.

Avoid Ordering From Belk!
September 25, 2018

No return shipping label is included with your order. You will have to take your package to the post office, pay return shipping and you must pay insurance, as well.
Then you'll find out that they only return a portion of your purchase price!
When you try to contact them to find out why they've kept a significant amount (in my case, nearly $11.00 on just one unworn top, returned in new condition, with tags and original packaging in less than 3 days time...) there is no response from "Customer Service"! I waited almost a week and contacted them again. Days later, they still have not responded.
Just as well, because I have no intention of ever being a customer of Belk's again!

I wish I had taken the time to read reviews of Belk *before* ordering from them. I just read many negative reviews and saw that Consumer Affairs has many complaints against this company!

Why is the Belk company making it so hard for full time employees?! They are trying to make people quit to hire cheaper part time employees. My mother has worked for Belk full time for 16 years and they are trying to make her schedule so difficult for her. Her only need was Thursdays off work. To help with her first and only granddaughter thats 6 months old. Thats it. She is a loyal worker and a top seller, consultant. Yet now they will not even give her this 1 day a week off. Its ridiculous how Belk has no concept of happy workers happy customers. I will never support this company again, and take my money elsewhere. Belk does not deserve hard workers since they would rather have cheap part time college students who do not care about customers happiness. People in our city literally shop at Belk to see my mom. She helped open this store, and they treat her awful. Sad Belk sad. Deff not a family store.

I recently purchased three Under Armour shirts during the Labor Day weekend. When I attempted to take advantage of the Labor Day Sales, Under Armour shirts were not available for a discount. After my purchase, I received a $15 discount through my email. Today, I attempted to return a shirt that was too small and order a larger size. I was told the $15 discount could not be used on this purchase. I will never order anything from this company again. They do not know how to spell Customer Service!

Don't purchase from them. First off if you need to return your purchase YOU will have to pay for the shipping which mine was almost $10 AND PRINT THE LABEL AND GO TO FED EX where they made me package everything myself even handed me the roll of tape like I work there! Secondly, I received an email stating they received my item and my refund will be issues in 7 days. 7 days passed no refund issued. Called customer service where I was told "now that you have called I am going to approve your refund and will have to wait 1-3 days." Basically have to wait 10 days in total (may not have even gotten my refund if I did not call or pay attention to my bank account) on top of my $10 return I paid, AMAZON COVERS THAT, go with them. AMAZON also issues your refund AS SOON AS THEY RECEIVE THE ITEM and will PACKAGE for you! SHOP WITH AMAZON. I will never purchase with belk ever again and I will spread the word.

I ordered a pair of shoes from this website on 7/19/2013. I received a confirmation email saying that it would take 4-7 days to deliver. I just logged on to their website today 7/24/2013 with the intention of tracking my order. I just found out they cancelled my order. I have not received a phone call or even an email from them indicating that they cancelled my order. They could be a scam and do false advertising. If I were you, DON'T BUY FROM THEM...

I order men's pants online. Received ladies pants. I got a refund but Belk gave me the heave-ho when I tried to get a refund for the cost of return shipping per their policy. Called eight times and got a different story each time. Agents are poorly trained and say anything to get you off the phone.

I ordered a dress in their website. They were in stock in my size and it was a GREAT price! I was stoked to find a store that would sell my favorite brand at a cheaper price! I ordered it immediately. They sent me a confirmation email. The next day I got an email that my order was cancelled, no reason was given. I called during their hours of operation and they kept me on hold for 45 minutes before hanging up. I left emails asking why my order was cancelled and decided to call again this morning. The lady on the other end had music blaring and I could hardly hear anything she was saying. She pulled up my order and said that they didn't have it in stock anymore and that's why it cancelled. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. You let someone order something and get excited about it and cancel it just because you didn't update your website. Wow. I can't trust a company that does that. Never again will I order again.
