I've ordered replacement battery for vacuum cleaner late August, shipping number was not working in last mile delivery tracking system so I ask them to check it again,, these $%)*! Replied that even if it is not trackable it considered as valid confirmation of shipment and ask me to wait another 6 weeks until 10.10.23. After lack of delivery and more stupid responses I've requested to give my money back and replay was that they cannot cancel order as they shipped it - is where the hell is my battery? From Netherlands to Poland is 9 h drive - they are or cheaters and internet scammers or absolutely unprofessional company which don't give a $#*! about their customers - DON't make my mistake, find another vendor!
I ordered a replacement battery for my husqvarna robot mower. That was 10 days ago. It has proved impossible to get any update from this company who ignore all my emails. I have asked for a refund. No response. All their reviews are 5/5 on their website. What a joke.
Ordered a battery 18.4.
Never received shipping information. As promised. After several request for delivery status, I cancelled the order on 4.5. Battery Upgrade refuses, as the order has just been sent, later that it was shipped 18.4. Shipped from Holland to Denmark. More than three weeks and no battery. What kind of transportation are they using?

I ordered a battery pack which never arrived, they sent a tracking ref number which didn't work.
They told me two weeks delivery.
I had to wait seven weeks before they would refund me minus the delivery cost after sending another demanding email to them asking for proof of delivery they finally agreed to refund full amount.
Stay well away
Here is what they did wrong:
1. Sent the wrong items, even though I specifically asked, to make sure, that they would be the correct items, and they assured me that they would be.
2. Said that when I returned the items I would only be refunded for the items, not the delivery costs, so I had to inform them of the law, that if I returned the full order, they had to refund delivery costs.
3. Expected me to pay for the return, and I had to inform them that they were liable for the return costs.
4. Tried to fob me off with some nonsense about 'compensation' for return costs being up to 10 Euros, and I had to explain, again, that, by law, they need to pay all of the return costs as they sent the wrong item.
5. Forced me to research and organise return costs, and pay for them, before they refunded them.
6. Rather than just refund the original costs, which would have meant the money went back to the card attached to my Paypal account, you know, how refunds normally work, they added the refund to my Paypal account. By moving the refund and the refund for the postage into my Paypal account I incurred a fee from Paypal.
So, after dealing with this company company, I've had to send about 20 messages, been sent the wrong item, had to organise my own return, had to argue with them about costs and the law, and they have not offered any sort of sincere understanding or apology, and I have spent time and energy I don't have, and am now out of pocket!
Ordered a replacement shark duoclean battery. Delivery and communication very good arrived when promised. Charged it up but it only lasted 3 minutes tried again but same result. After several email exchanges and having to send photos of both batteries old and new they told me to send it back and they would refund my money. I am now trying to get them to pay the postage. Avoid at your peril.
I ordered rechargeable batteries on 5/29/2024 for my Siemen's hearing aids that were received by myself in USA in late June. Normally rechargeable batteries last in excess of a year...the ones received from Battery Upgrade lasted 2 months. Customer Service wants me to bear expense of mailing back defective hearing aid batteries (which were trashed) in order to receive replacement. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!
Battery ordered and got invoice on their website but no information added even after 20 days about shipping of the ordered battery.
When try to contact them their email address does not work and said delivery failed which is on their website in contact section *******@BatteryUpgrade.co.uk and thinking that it is fraud website and i am going to report them to police.
I ordered a battery from them and got a confirmation with the wrong shipping address. Checked the PayPal transaction which showed the correct address. I told them straight away and received an email saying that they couldn't changed the address as it had been shipped. This is their problem as they had the correct delivery information. I already have the refund from PayPal in my bank account.
Like so many before me, I ordered a specific battery from this company (a division of BraunOni B. V. in Eindhoven) from a localized website (i. E.,. Ch rather than. Com) which gave the impression they were based in Switzerland where I live. It's been a month, they've not delivered and are not answering my requests for my money back. I got one mealy-mouthed, "It'll arrive eventually" email but that was clearly designed to delay until I was out of the claw back period (30 days) for credit card payments. I referred them to the Dutch consumer ombudsman, have pressed charges of fraud and theft, and tracked down their MD, one Anton van Boekel. The company is not trustworthy and I would not recommend ordering from them.
I ordered in 2017 had experience so placed my order again with them in 2022 for aprox 70Eur.
After a month my order is marked as sent and I received no parcel or tracking code.
After a week I had 1 response on my mail that they had delays and no further reactions afterwards, total silence.
Communication is a total disaster and still no Parcel
Looks like a dropshipping or alike model.
They bundel the orders to obtain discount from Distributor and when volume is reached they eventually ship out.
Either way not a company worth you loosing your laboured money on
I bought 2 batteries from batteries up for my Porter-Cable tools and neither one worked. I couldn't make one cut on a 2X4 and they were dead! I fought with the company for 3 months to get my money back. I got nothing but a song and dance! They ended the situation by sending me another useless battery. I finally just chalked it up as a BAD MISTAKE! I rate this company a minus 10!
Despite the company issuing an invoice stating dispatch of the item 2 days after the order being placed, it was never received. The company then claimed there had been a mistake in the invoice being processed and two further dates of dispatch were given. Six weeks after my initial order being placed, no item was forthcoming. I therefore went through a chargeback process on my original payment card.
I have no hesitation in recommending NOT to attempt to purchase anything from this company.
In my experience batteryupgrade.co.uk has a modus operandi of delay and deceive. Shame on them.

So my suggestion to batteryupgraded.co.uk is not to bother with a standardised response from your " Help Desk Team" and get some penance from your god.

If the product you receive is not compatible or wrong they make you pay the "return shipping costs" that could be so high.
I recently ordered a replacement battery for my Dell Inspiron. They sent to me a wrong battery ( I would say a defective product) that was not even charged.
I asked for a refund. They told me that they don't cover return shipping costs. The customer should pay the return shipping costs.
I end up paying 24 CHF for nothing. This is a 50% of the battery price I paid. Do you see what could happen.
They only reimbursed the whole price of the battery to me.
Be aware of this issue.
I don not recommend to buy anything from this company.

Advice: Always try to get the "original battery" from the laptop producers.
Even though BatteryUpgrade advertises "free shipping worldwide,... final prices... no extra cost" this does not include import duties and fees. We were very surprised to receive an invoice from FedEx for clearing the shipment through custom, after having received the goods.

Ordered a replacement battery for my dyson vacuum after 3 weeks of non arrival emailed them, response was its been posted just wait... upto 6 weeks! Replied that this was not acceptable they said they would not do anything until this time period was up. Current battery gave up, had to buy a new battery from Dyson which arrived the next day £5 more but so worth it! Went to paypal with a dispute and they found in my favour and gave me a refund? Got a very threatening email from Battery Upgrade suggesting I may have received the battery and not returned it. Very bad customer service in fact none, be warned.
Poor delivery. Took 3 weeks. They have a Swiss site to make you think you are buying in Switzerland but this is not the case.the prices they quote are before tax.
They try to avoid import duty by shipping small items in enveloped and hope the customs do not notice. However if customs check the package the customer will end up paying about 40 % extra due to customs costs. They say this is not their cost. This way they can appear cheaper than other honest suppliers.
Lists itself in New Zealand as batteryupgrade.co.nz but it is not an NZ business or in NZ. I thought when ordering I would have benefit of NZ consumer protection laws, but they don't apply to offshore deals. It seems to be based in Holland and the battery I ordered was sent (in plain cardboard with no accompanying papers) from Hong Kong. It was a poor Asian copy of what I wanted and would not charge beyond 30% capacity so is useless. I would not use this site again.
Have been waiting over a month for a drill battery which they say is temp. Out of stock even though they show 3 green lights for plenty in stock. I asked for an upgrade or money back then silence... no response. Paypal has now refunded my money.
