Used battery upgrade twice, for GPS and camera. First time delivery took seven working days and second time five working days. Product is what Iexpected and I'm happy with delivery time.
Order paid for 29th November. Battery not yet received and no acknowledgements to mails sent. Exceptionally poor service. Cannot recommend this Company.
It has been 5 weeks already and still no battery. This morning I received this:
"We have been informed by our shipping partner that several orders have been marked returned to sender from the batch of orders that was processed on 22/02/2013. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to determine with absolute certainty if your order was also returned to sender, because these items are still in transit.
If you have already received your order, we would appreciate it if you can let us know. If you have not yet received your order, we would like to send out a new shipment right away. We do however understand if you want to cancel your order and receive a full refund. Please let us know by March 16th at the latest what you prefer. If we do not receive an answer, we will reship your order by default.
We regret the extreme delay in your order very much and apologize for the inconvenience this caused you. We hope to have offered you an appropriate solution this way.
Best Regards,

Bought batteries for canon. 6 weeks and 3 emails later- still no batteries. Getting the same generic email that it has been shipped. Dodgy business.
I ordered some batteries but they never arrived. Now I have to claim back my payment through PayPal. Stay away from this site!
Took 6 weeks to come.
Impossible to contact these people.
Their feedback link dos'nt work.
THE BATTERY WAS DUFF & WOULD NOT CHARGE.
THREW IT IN BIN IN DISGUST
Dear Richard G.,
I'm sorry to hear that your delivery took longer than usual, our apologies for that. I have also checked the feedback link you received and it appears to work fine, are you sure your browser did not stop the page from opening because your security settings are set too high? Furthermore you can always contact our help desk on info [at] batteryupgrade.com. As we received no emails from you, I assume you were unaware of this? Of course we will always replace or refund a defective item.
Kind regards,

Battery arrived today. Seems OK. Pity they did not confirm my order or reply to my emails. Bad customer service.

Can you send us your order number? Then we can have a look how we can improve the service. We can assure you our helpdesk always tries to respond to e-mails within 24 hours.

After assuring me that they give a one-year warranty, they sent a COMPLETELY duff Lithium Polymer battery. When I asked for a refund and a reply-paid label to return, they asked for increasingly ridiculous details to avoid refunding me. First they wanted details of the duff battery, then they wanted details of the OLD battery that came with the headphones. But being a member of the UK Consumers Association who knows her rights, I simply opened a Disputed Purchase Claim with VISA who refunded me immediately, and are now instigating a "charge-back" with BatteryUpgrade. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Support merchandisers who offer QUALITY products, DO NOT QUIBBLE with the facts & who RESPECT their customers! Their "helpdesk offered NO help until I sent them the reference for my DPC -- then they said they would refund (not received yet) but actually wanted ME to pay for return postage to Holland! So let's see, BU take my money then want me to spend MORE money returning their flat battery?!
Too late peeps; if you want good reviews, VALUE YOUR CUSTOMERS! Don't believe me folks, read the other reviews -- BatteryUpgrade has managed to upset customers from many countries.
In fact the ONE thing they are quick about is to refute their terrible reviews...

I ordered two batteries for my son's watch. I found the exact model on the batteryupgrade.ch website. They were a little expensive, but everything in Switzerland is. I picked batteryupgrade.ch because I thought doing everything nationally would be somewhat easier. It turns out, they might sit in the the Netherlands or so. Ok, never mind. After a good ten days, the two batteries arrive. When I went to install them in the watch, they did not work. After some poking around online I find out that the batteries they sent do not match the model I ordered. I contact them to organize an exchange. Their answer: ship the wrong batteries back. Once we receive them we send the correct ones and will refund you on Paypal. Problem: 1) they want them shipped in a padded envelope (we are talking about button-shaped batteries). Given their slowness, I do not expect anything back in less than 3 weeks. We all know where this would take us. Contacted them through Paypal and asked for refund. Also for that they want the batteries back. Also they ask me to agree to terms of exchange and use Return form. As I look at the form, it states that the batteries are in intact condition, which they are not, as I discovered they messed up the model by trying to get the watch to work. This is so horribly slow and inconvenient. Why do I have to go look for special envelopes and advance payment of international postage for something that they messed up?
The right solution: send me correct batteries with stamped and addressed return envelope, as per their specs. I will be happy to send the useless ones back to them.
I recommend against buying from this company.
I guess what I learnt is to read the 'small print' properly in future.
Having ordered a replacement battery for my Panasonic EY6812 24V drill, from a company supposedly based in the Netherlands, weeks later the battery arrived from China. I put it on charge and the temperature warning light immediately came on. The battery will not charge.
The Chinese are experts at copying plastic housings/colours/clips and physically, it fits the drill perfectly.
The problem is what is inside the plastic casing, and my guess is that obviously quality control is not very high on the agenda.
I imagine the thinking behind the copied products must be 'make it look good and fit well, just sell it and so what if it doesn't last as long as an original'
But in my case the copied battery doesn't work at all, cost €98 and neither the post office or the courier companies will ship it back to the 'depot' in the Netherlands.
I have gone in with the battery to both the post office and a couple of courier companies and none of them will ship a battery overseas, for safety reasons.
Although I did take a photo of the malfunctioning battery, while in the charger for Batteryupgrade.com, I still have not received a refund.
Another thing I have learnt about buying online - any company which does not provide a telephone number - forget them. There have been so many emails back and forth between myself and this company and each time a different person replies to me.
I'm not sure if this is a tactic designed to chip away at the patience of a customer in an attempt to make him/her go away, but I do not discount this idea either.
Would anyone out there know my consumer rights regarding the above?
Any thoughts welcome, thanks.

Used Batteryupgrade few times. Batteries costs about half comparing local shops and delivery takes 4-5 days. Highly recommended.
They have a NZ site that listed several batteries for my laptop, price looked real good for a replacement battery and had several options in capicity, I ordered the largest capicity i could find and and placed an order that seemed to go through OK, surprise was that allthough the pricing was in NZ$ all of a sudden the price when you entered your card details chaned to € this rang an alarm bell that I should not have ignored but I carried on and I placed an order, next day got an e mail telling me they could not supply and only alternative was a refund, the refund was less that what Inpaid and when I complained the first reply was that it was due to currency exgange rates that was bull $#*! as if that was the case they owed me more thN what I paid, next excuse was that my bank had taken a charge on the money going back to my account.
I woild give this site a miss
