Order 150.00 worth of item on Nov. 29 and still have not recieve my items. Can't get any one on the phone that can help. Send email and no response. Can't get my money and the want let me cancel my order. Calling my bank in the morning.
I ordered a bathing suit and they sent me the wrong size. Now it's on me to return the one they sent out wand wait for a refund. I can go on line and attempt to purchase another one and hopefully it will be the right size. Plus they deduct the cost of shipping from my return. It's not my fault they sent me the wrong size, ughhhhhh
I placed an order 48 hours ago and all of the items are now on sale. I called to see if they would do a price adjustment and they will not. I need to return the items then rebuy them. I will be returning but will not rebuy. Every company I have ever dealt with does price adjustments if products go on sale within 30 days. Not a goid way to do business
I made an online Avenue purchase totaling $117.18 on 09/04/16 using Paypal as the payment method. I picked up my package at the store today, 09/17/16. I tried the items on while there but due to a fit issue I returned two of the items. Since I paid with Paypal they would only refund my money with a gift card/store credit.
When using Paypal for The Avenue online purchases their website should have a disclaimer in LARGE BOLD PRINT warning customers about using Paypal for their purchase and the lack of a true refund other than a gift card. As it stands, their offering of Paypal is dishonest and extremely deceptive.
Purchased a winter jacket on early November 2020. Left arm on the inside was sewn together, could not get my arm through. On the phone for over 42 minutes to get someone on the phone. Told because of faulty item would not have to wait the typical 6 weeks from my return to get new item. Two weeks b4 Christmas called again. Another extremely long wait to get someone on the phone. Apologized and promised item would get to me b4 Christmas or a little after. January 12tb called yet again. Luckily this time got someone on the phone almost immediately. Will m not be getting item. I will getting a credit. No explanation why I didn't get the new jacket nor a refund. All I got was apologies and a start to a refund. Horrible horrible service. I feel bad for so many businesses going out of business cause of covid. But, Avenue has no business staying in business.
I ordered a gift on 11/15/2020 and as of today have not received anything! I have called and never get a person, i have sent emails to which i get an eticket and still no one responds, and I have messaged them on FB. I have asked for my order to be cancelled but am not sure if it has been because I cant get anyone to respond! Will NEVER order from them again!
I have been shopping for plus size clothes with Avenue for over 5 years. I have always had a good experience. Suddenly I bought pajamas for my moms birthday that were never delivered. I was told it wasn't there problem so no refund! WTF? How is it my fault. They finally agreed to issue a gift card which to this day I have NEVER received. This is unbelievable.
UPDATE! 11/28: In viewing my email. The only email that I have received thus far is a confirmation order email, normally that is follow up by invoice for order email & your order has been shipped email. I will stand by my previous review below in being very disappointed; however order is STILL in fulfillment status I will not be ordering from this company again.
Placed an order, no email notification, I thought your card isn't suppose to be charged until your order has been shipped!. Customer service cannot provide any details on the order. Very disappointing! DO NOT SHOP HERE PEOPLE!
Where do I begin. I ordered a pair of boots. Nothing for weeks. I email to cancel the order. I then call to cancel. They can't cancel orders because of their "fast shipping" - this is after weeks of nothing and they can't even tell me when it will ship. No projected ship date. But they can't cancel it.
But you are told that returns are free and easy. Okay.
But they aren't free. You are charged shipping when they receive it! So, no free returns. No happy refunds.
Now, if you any to go to a store while this pandemic is hitting hard? No shipping charge!
They can blame delays on Covid but will not consider the health of customers.
Avoid them. Pick a reason. The service, lack of concern for customers or the blatant lie about returns.
Today I called to see why I didn't get refunded on a bra I sent back. I was told because it had been worn and did not have a tag attached. I told the lady, who wasn't so nice, that I literally wore it for 2 hours and it totally fell apart. Wire out both side and stitching around it had completely separated. Didn't matter, tag has to be on, not just sent back with item, or no refund. I said I had to take the tag off to wear it! I had bought 3 other bras with this one and after 1 or 2 wearings they are also coming apart. Very, very poor quality. I was told someone contacted me to tell me they could not refund the bra. That never occurred. AND I HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE IT RETURNED TO ME! Do not recommend buying bras from this company. I wish I had read their reviews before buying. Horrible!
Omg returning is a nightmare. 7-10 days for a mailed return label (they misprinted mine oops). After being told I would be emailed one (haha she was mistaken, not our policy). So finally the label comes and I return a coat I tried on once, ONCE, no tags removed, put right back in the plastic, packed along with a pair boots to be returned. No refund for the coat. Apparently it wasn't in a returnable condition. I can either pay to have it back or have it sent to charity. Now I don't mind charity. I have a favorite right up the street that gets all of my hardly worn items I get on clearance and can't return. When it's made CLEAR I won't be seeing my money again. So if you're reading this, go into shopping on Avenue knowing you may or may not get a refund. And a lot of their items are hand wash hang to dry. Good if you've got money and time to burn, but there are waaaay better sites.
I placed an order with them 6 weeks ago, the items were never received. I have contacted customer support multiple times to only be told they are researching, for 2 weeks, although fed ex clearly shows I never received the item. Oh but I should look around the house anyway. Now for the past week I am waiting on a gift card as they do not issue refunds on insured shipped items. Where is that gift card? I really do like their clothing but I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ONLINE FROM THEM AGAIN.
Got an email that order shipped Mon Oct 4. Package shows that it wasn't given to FedEx until Fri Oct 8th@ 5pm. I ordered for my vacation. I'm leaving tomorrow and pkg shows that it won't deliver until Ths, which is a day too late and there won't be anyone a home, which means pkg could be stolen while I'm away. I'm returning all items and beginning a dispute for non-delivery. I had to go on the FedEx site and apply a hold to deliveries to my address.
I called Avenue, only to be lectured by Samantha about shipping times. That doesn't solve my problem. Avenue, keep treating your customers badly and soon you won't have any. There's a reason you had to close ALL your stores at a time when Americans are larger than ever. You deserve your fate. You can't compete.
It's been over 4 months since I placed my order, and as customer service told me they are not liable because it was lost! I asked for a refund and was told NO, will never shop here again!
I have place an order twice online and each time I never received my order. For some reason my address is already incorrect. It puzzle me because I order online alot and I never had this issue. My package was sent back and they received it on August 13. On the 19th I called and asked where was my money and I was told that it will take another 8 days for me to get my refund.
What a joke! I will never order from the again.
AVOID, AVOID. They take your money, will ship order over a month later with missing items and do not refund or send a missing items. Or they dont ship your orders at all.
Order #1 placed on Dec. 17. Arrived with missing item, reached out several time, no refund or an eta on a missing item
Order #2 placed on Dec. 9th. Was shipped with missing item. Avenue will not reply to any of my emails.
Order #3 placed on Dec. 2nd. No movement and no update for this order.
I have been charged for all three orders.
One star is too much to give! I bought several items and Avenue did not include one item and even though the bag was not tampered with they claimed it may have been a mistake in the warehouse and then claimed it must have been lost in transit and refused to refund the item. I was so disgusted that I returned all the other items I had purchased. Very poor customer service and I will NEVER purchase from AVENUE again. I am now disputing this item with my credit card. CUSTOMER BEWARE!
I love their clothes... I seriously adore everything I've ever bought there. My ONLY complaint is I don't feel I receive the quality for which I pay. When I pay $60 for a shirt, I expect the beading and jewelry on the tops to NOT fall apart after the 3rd wash.
I am really not happy about this. Tha tall boots wer on sale all of them for 29.99 US and when i tries to bye a paire none in my size so i clicked on just about all of the boots and to my surprise no sizes were available at all for all of them. So the next day witch is today a Saturday they have 50% on all in store so clicked on the same paire of boots and look at that they wer available how ever no longer the same price more expensive. Really not happy about this i fill like the hole 29.99US was a scam its to bad because i bought alot lot of close from this store. And i am a canadien i paye internationale fees so i am always looking a good deal however when this happens its not cool.
