I ordered 2 orders in the last few months and each had problems. I am still trying to complete an order that was placed 11/27/20. They charged me for entire order and I do not have the items. What a sham. They have all kinds of excuses. How can they charge you for items they don't send? Today I waited on the phone for 45 minutes to get this resolved and it's still not. So my suggestion is to anyone wanting to place an order DON'T! I would give 0 stars if possible. The following is an email they sent. Why did it get sent when the order wasn't complete? Such a joke.

Made a purchase for 2 pairs of shoes in size 10 as a Christmas gift. I received 2 pairs of shoes in size 8.5 and they were not even the style I ordered. I tried to call and call and call... you know where am going with this. There was no answer no vm, how convenient for Avenue. I then tried to email via the link provided received a response and ticket number that was on December 4th. I'm still waiting to be contacted. I even sent another one and received no reply. Customer service is so important and separates one company from the other. I have purchased from Avenue on several occasions and unfortunately I will not be doing so in the future. There are other companies that give me the service that I desire and I will be spending my money with them.
I placed an order December 1st and three weeks later nothing, no confirmation order number nothing. I called several times only to be lied to each time about my boots that I ordered were on their way, then to be told they have not shipped yet, then to be told they would overnight them to still nothing. They are really fast to take your money and play games with you. You are better off going to Wal-Mart or Target then giving one penny of your money to these liers. Don't waste your time or money with these people.
I ordered a $100 winter jacket on December 6th and they charged my credit card immediately when they are supposed to wait until it ships. Never received my order and the status still says in fulfillment. I emailed them and just got a ticket number but never heard back from anyone. Never received my jacket either! HORRIBLE! Will NEVER order from them again
AVOID, AVOID. They take your money, will ship order over a month later with missing items and do not refund or send a missing items. Or they dont ship your orders at all.

Order 150.00 worth of item on Nov. 29 and still have not recieve my items. Can't get any one on the phone that can help. Send email and no response. Can't get my money and the want let me cancel my order. Calling my bank in the morning.
After I seen you all reviews I can't complain about my issue. Heck I placed an order on 11/30/20. Two different orders to 2 different addresses. I placed one exactly after the other the exact same products. I got one 12/12/20 after calling them. I called again and received the other on 12/16/20. I'm thankful I received my order.
Where do I begin. I ordered a pair of boots. Nothing for weeks. I email to cancel the order. I then call to cancel. They can't cancel orders because of their "fast shipping" - this is after weeks of nothing and they can't even tell me when it will ship. No projected ship date. But they can't cancel it.
But you are told that returns are free and easy. Okay.
But they aren't free. You are charged shipping when they receive it! So, no free returns. No happy refunds.
Now, if you any to go to a store while this pandemic is hitting hard? No shipping charge!
They can blame delays on Covid but will not consider the health of customers.

Ordered coats on 11/24 still haven't received them keep calling either it's busy, on hold and get disconnected or when I finally talk to someone I get the same response they should be mailed out in a couple of days even with the holiday and what's going on in the world it shouldn't take this long.
Still no response from avenue. Cant get through on phone. No emails. I dont understand. Called corporate but voice mail is full.

My husband ordered me a top for Christmas, the free shipping code was not applied. He spent at least 1 hour on the phone, most of that time was on hold time. Issue was not resolved. He was caller 25 and it took 45 mintues before he spoke with someone who then placed him back on hold at least 3 more times. I think they need alot more help with answering phones. I would not recommend them for this reason.
I returned my item 3 1/2 weeks ago They have been promising my refund for 2 weeks and every time I call they say I will have it in two days and they say the rep you talked to before didn't request the refund or put that in the notes but the reps have sent me emails stating they were gonna process it and now they don't answer their emails
I can't reply to people's comments under my initial review so wanted to update. Continued horrible customer service. They did ship me half of my order, then only billed for what shipped to my Avenue card that I used to purchase. I love all the items, same quality as the store had. The problem is, I Wud only attempt to order something knowing you may never get it, they won't update you either way and don't plan on being able to return or exchange anything. I've emailed them requesting they make the size different on a pair of jeans not yet shipped, a new ticket gets opened then ignored. I finally received a response to the first ticket (of 4 opened on the same order from 11/28/20) that said it looked like my issue was resolved (which it's not, since I only got half the order & want to change a size in pants) and they closed the ticket, since their incompetent staff think all is good. I responded to their message that its not resolved so maybe in a month they might email back, but I Wud bet not.
I've purchased from Avenue for years in stores when they were open and online. Loved the products and they always were so helpful. I have never had such an issue as there is now. I placed an order over three weeks ago and still haven't received it. Can't get any information of if it shipped. MY credit card has been charged.
